After a week long wait, the tournament has started! Unfortunately, due to the number of sign-ups, most players have been given automatic byes to Round 2, with there only being a handful of actual matches for Round 1. On the bright side, this should give most of you more than ample opportunity to prep for your future matches. As a reminder, Game 1 of your series will always be SV CAP, with Games 2 and 3 being the metagame of the previous game's loser. Everyone's chosen metagames will be listed next to their name in the matchups, and this will remain static for the entire tournament.
For anyone who chooses to sign up as a sub, please remember to choose a metagame from the following list in your signup: SV CAP, SS CAP, SM CAP, ORAS CAP, BW CAP, DPP CAP. If you do not do this when I get to your post and sub you into the tournament, I will randomly assign one to you that you will not be allowed to change.
Rules:
- The format is best of three, single elimination.
- Changing teams in between matches is allowed.
- You are required to post your replays.
- All Smogon tournament rules apply.
- Any change in tiering will not take effect until the following round.
- Matches must be played on Pokemon Showdown or Smogtours.
- Please use this guide while scheduling with your opponent.
