Celebi (Psychic) [QC 0/2] [GP 0/1]

[SET]
name: Stealth Rock (Psychic)
move 1: Stealth Rock
move 2: Giga Drain
move 3: Recover
move 4: U-turn / Healing Wish / Thunder Wave
item: Leftovers
ability: Natural Cure
nature: Calm
evs: 252 HP / 72 Def / 168 SpD / 16 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Celebi's great all-around stats makes it a powerful and bulky Stealth Rock setter and is also able to take status ailments from foes due to Natural Cure. Stealth Rock deals chip damage to the opposing team and works very well with Celebi's U-turn which lets it pivot out to a teammate that checks the opposing Pokemon. This forces the opponent to switch out to incur entry hazard damage. Giga Drain does good damage to neutral foes and is able to OHKO Pokemon such as Seisimitoad. Recover is a more consistent way to heal and Leftovers gives Celebi passive recovery. Healing Wish can be used over U-turn to give Celebi's teammates, especially sweepers such as Gardevoir, longevity. Thunder Wave can also be used to help slow threats such as Hydreigon and Bisharp. The HP, Defense, and Special Defense EVs along with the Calm nature is to ensure Celebi is bulky and stays alive as long as possible. These EVs allow Celebi to live a Crunch from Tyranitar and Dark Pulse from Choice Specs Hydreigon. The 16 Speed EVs allows it to Speed tie Jolly Whiscash.

Celebi's typing allows it to counter Dark-type threats such as Crawdaunt so teammates such as Indeedee appreciate it. Indeedee also has access to Psychic Terrain and is helpful for the entire team. However, Celebi is OHKOed by powerful physical Dark-types such as Bisharp so Pokemon such as Mew who can Will-O-Wisp and cripple physical attackers is appreciated. Since Celebi is walled by specially defensive Pokemon such as Tyranitar, physical attackers that can KO those walls such as Jirachi are appreciated. Jirachi's U-turn also synergizes well with Celebi's Stealth Rock and U-turn by constantly dealing chip damage forcing opponents to switch out. Furthermore, Jirachi's Choice Scarf set can stop other threats such as Tyranitar with Iron Head spam. Sweepers such as Choice Scarf Gardevoir appreciate Celebi's ability to chip at opposing Pokemon making it easier to sweep the team, especially Dark- and Dragon-type teams with Moonblast.

Celebi's great all-around stats makes it a powerful and bulky Stealth Rock setter and is also able to take status ailments from foes due to because of Natural Cure. (Recover is a more consistent way to heal. Healing Wish can be used over U-turn to give Celebi's teammates, especially sweepers such as Gardevoir, longevity.):I feel like these 2 sentences can be combined, the recover line is a simple/short sentence) Thunder Wave can also be used to help slow down threats such as (blank/blank) the opposing team down which is appreciated by slower sweepers. Leftovers gives Celebi longevity(i feel like this should be inside of that recovery line, its too short and everyone already knows what leftovers do) . The HP, Defense, and Special Defense EVs along with the Calm nature is to ensure Celebi is bulky and stays alive as long as possible. (rephrase and talk about how investing inside of defense helps with threats like choice scarf dracovish, how the new speed variant creeps banded adamant dracovish, the ground mu)These EVs allow Celebi to live a Knock Off from KrookodileKrookodile is not in Sword and Shield and a Crunch from Tyranitar. The 16 Speed EVs allows it to speedtie Jolly Whiscash.(whiscash is unviable, gastrodon and seismitoed outclasses it and it should not be mentioned inside of analyses)

Celebi's typing allows it to counter Dark-type threats such as Crawdaunt so teammates (this talks about celebi more than indeedee, celebi's typing benefits the entire team and it should be mentioned in the first paragraph) such as Indeedee appreciate it. is useful because of Psychic Terrain and its Psychic/Normal typing (rephrase) However, Celebi is OHKOed by powerful physical Dark-types such as Bisharp so Pokemon such as Mew who can Will-O-Wisp and cripples physical attackers such as (examples) that threatens Celebi with Will-O-Wisp and Knock Off. is appreciated. Since Celebi is walled by specially defensive Pokemon such as Tyranitar, physical attackers that can KO those walls such as Jirachi are appreciated. (you should talk more about celebi's teammates in this paragraph, you already mentioned u-turn and stealth rock in paragraph one) Celebi's access to Stealth Rock and U-turn gives it good synergy with other U-turn users such as Jirachi by constantly dealing chip damage forcing opponents to switch out. (talk more about Jirachi and how choice scarf can help with kyurem-black by creeping with Iron Head spams or Tricking) Sweepers such as Choice Scarf Gardevoir appreciate Celebi's ability to chip at opposing Pokemon making it easier to sweep the team, especially Dark- and Dragon-type teams with Moonblast.

Heya! Follow up AM check. Implement as you feel if you still plan on working on this of course!
- Healing Wish can be used over U-turn to give Celebi's teammates, especially sweepers such as Gardevoir, longevity. I think just saying "Healing Wish can be used over U-turn to heal teammates" as opposed to just mentioning garde might be better considering any mon can benefit to being healed at full
- Celebi's typing allows it to counter Dark-type threats such as Crawdaunt so teammates such as Indeedee appreciate it. Indeedee also has access to Psychic Terrain and is helpful for the entire team. I'd personally mention how Indeedee being the only Ghost-type immunity on the team helps a bit with that mu
- These EVs allow Celebi to live a Crunch from Tyranitar and Dark Pulse from Choice Specs Hydreigon. The 156 Speed EVs allows it to Speed tie Jolly Whiscash. The new spread outspeeds Adamant Choice Band Dracovish allowing it switch-in and recover health with 'Recover.' Also Whiscash has never been viable in Monotype so its kind of a ehh example to mention a Pokemon thats not relevant in the metagame.
- Mention Hatterene, Alakazam, and Slowbro/G
Multiple examples can also be nice: "Giga Drain does good damage to neutral foes and is able to OHKO Pokemon such as Seisimitoad." I'd say giga is great against Ground- and Water-type Pokemon like etc etc etc and continue onto the next move
