Celebi serves as a decent utility option for balanced teams thanks to its natural bulk, reliable recovery, ability in Natural Cure, and Speed tier. It also serves as a reliable switch-in to Electric-types like Xurkitree and Raikou, since they all lack moves to beat Celebi. Thunder Wave lets it spread paralysis onto common threats like Noivern, Necrozma, and Zarude. U-turn allows Celebi to pivot on common switch-ins to it like Zarude, Togekiss, and Metagross to give its team momentum. Psychic hits Pokemon that otherwise freely switch into Celebi like Noivern and Roserade. Grass Knot hits Ground-type threats like Steelix harder so Celebi can spread paralysis more effectively with Thunder Wave and beats Water-types like Milotic.

U-turn from threats like Zarude, Mienshao, and Darmanitan easily forces Celebi out. Therefore, teammates like Galarian Weezing, Togekiss, and Cobalion are appreciated to absorb it. These same teammates can come in on Golisopod, which can OHKO Celebi and revenge kill its teammates with First Impression. Teammates like Chandelure, Mienshao, and Guts Heracross that can take advantage of Celebi pivoting on Steel-types and special walls like Metagross, Stakataka, and Umbreon make great partners to remove such threats. A partner like Milotic to check Fire-types like Chandelure, Volcanion, and Darmanitan takes pressure off of Celebi.

[SET COMMENTS]

Celebi finds a niche as a Choice Scarf user on balance and bulky offense teams thanks to its Speed tier, utility moves in U-turn and Trick, and ability in Natural Cure. It's also able to check Electric-types like Raikou and Xurkitree with little to no issue, since Celebi isn't weak to their coverage moves like Zarude is. Trick cripples common switch-ins to Celebi like Inciniroar, Togekiss, and Registeel. U-turn lets Celebi pivot on switch-ins like Incineroar, Metagross, and Zarude and gives its team momentum.

Despite being one of the faster Choice Scarf users, Celebi is vulnerable to Choice Scarf Zarude and Mienshao. Partners like Togekiss and Galarian Weezing can eat up any move that either threat has to offer. Additionally, both can provide Defog support, since Celebi is susceptible to entry hazards as it pivots. A partner like Heracross or Swords Dance Cobalion that can take advantage of Celebi's U-turn is appreciated. Threats like Incineroar, Metagross, and Snorlax can take advantage of Celebi being locked into an attack. Milotic, Rhyperior, and the aforementioned Cobalion make good teammates here to handle such foes. These same teammates also appreciate Celebi coming in to absorb Scald thanks to its resistance and Natural Cure.

Giga Drain isn't as important because Celebi can still overwhelm most of its targets with Psychic after setting up on them, and it really needs its other moves due to 4MSS. Recover makes it an actual Zygarde-10% / Electric-type check. Reorder Set Comments accordingly.

[SET COMMENTS]

Celebi finds a home in RU as a decent Nasty Plot wallbreaker thanks to its above average bulk (more than its bulk I'd say its the typing), coverage, and Speed tier. Due to its movepool, it's difficult to predict what it has based on Team Preview alone. It also acts a decent switch-in to common threats like Electric-types and Zygarde-10%. Even without a Nasty Plot boost, Celebi Earth Power deals heavy damage to threats like Chandelure, Incineroar, and Metagross. The last moveslot can be changed around. (Sentence on Recover.) Pollen Puff, for example, OHKOes Zarude and opposing Celebi (Something like Assault Vest Reuniclus or Umbreon seems more important than other Celebi.). On the other hand, Aura Sphere over Earth Power covers all areas that Celebi's STAB moves don't, hitting Steel-types and Zarude for respectable damage. Mention Giga Drain as an option somewhere.

Celebi loves feasting on Water-types like Milotic, Seismitoad, and Suicune. Therefore, teammates like Zygarde-10%, and Choice Scarf Darmanitan and Mienshao are appreciated. The former can erase or severely weaken Steel-types for Celebi, while the latter two can both pivot on said Water-types and bring in Celebi safely. Teammates like Cobalion, Stakataka, and Metagross appreciate Ground-types being gone and make great partners too since they provide Stealth Rock support as well as handle Togekiss (I wouldn't say Cobalion handles Togekiss. Maybe make it a separate point for Zarude.). Due to Celebi's defensive typing, Life Orb recoil, and lack of reliable recovery outside of Giga Drain, U-turn is an issue for it. Therefore, teammates like Togekiss, Galarian Weezing, and the aforementioned Cobalion can switch into it. The former two can provide Defog support while the latter two can also switch into Knock Off hits which Celebi doesn't like. (This section is unnecessarily long. Could shorten it to "Teammates that can take U-turn and Knock off such as x, x, and x are necessary. These can also provide...") Incineroar and Choice Scarf Darmanitan are just a couple of Fire-types that threaten Celebi. Bulky teammates like Milotic and Suicune can switch into and handle these threats. In return, Celebi deals with Electric-types that said teammates don't like.

-When it comes to Choice Scarf users, Celebi finds a niche as one of them on balanced or bulky offensive teams. It's Speed tier, access to utility moves like U-turn and Trick, and ability in Natural Cure further cement how valuable it can be. Additionally, thanks to Natural Cure and its above-average bulk, Celebi can act as a status absorber. (This whole section is weirdly phrased. Something like "Celebi finds a niche as a Choice Scarf user on balanced or bulky offensive teams due to x, x, and x." flows better) Trick cripples common switch-ins to Celebi like Porygon2, Togekiss, and Registeel. U-turn pivots on switch-ins like Incineroar, Metagross, and Zarude and gives Celebi's team momentum. Giga Drain is an alternative to Leaf Storm to give Celebi some sense of recovery.

-While Celebi is going fast with a Choice Scarf, there are other Choice Scarf users who go faster like Zarude and Mienshao. (What) Because of this, partners like Togekiss and Galarian Weezing can eat up any move that either threat has to offer. Additionally, both can provide Defog support since Celebi is suscpetible susceptible to all entry hazards.
- A partner like Heracross or Raikou that can take advantage of Celebi's U-turn are appreciated. (Wouldn't really include Raikou here? The idea is something that takes advantage of Celebi's usual switchins to wallbreak or set up.)
- Threats like Incineroar, Metagross, and Snorlax fear none of Celebi's attacks and are problematic for it. (Not really, all of them hate Trick and U-turn, mention them taking advantage of Celebi being locked into an attack) Zygarde-10%, Rhyperior, and Swords Dance Cobalion make good teammates here to handle such problems. These same teammates also appreciate Celebi coming in to take a Scald hit and avoid a burn.
