OU Celesteela (QC: 1/1) (GP: 1/1)

Celesteela @ Leftovers
Ability: Beast Boost
EVs: 248 HP / 28 Def / 232 SpD
Sassy Nature
- Leech Seed
- Protect
- Heavy Slam
- Flamethrower

Celesteela is a solid defensive Pokemon in OU; its Steel / Flying typing and good bulk allow it to take on prevalent Psychic-types such as Mega Alakazam and Tapu Lele as well as Ground-types like Landorus-T and Excadrill. The combination of Leech Seed and Protect allows Celesteela to annoy many of its switch-ins such as Heatran and Zapdos and keep itself healthy. Flamethrower is used to hit Steel-types like Kartana, Mega Scizor, and Excadrill that Celesteela can be used to check; it also prevents Ferrothorn from getting free hazards. Celesteela can take on Psychic- and Ground-types for Toxapex, forming a strong defensive core with it. Together, they chip away at the opposing team with passive damage from Leech Seed and Toxic or Toxic Spikes. Celesteela appreciates Pokemon that can cover its defensive weakenesses; Tangrowth and Amoonguss can pivot into Electric-types consistently, while Mega Latias, Gliscor, and Garchomp can take on Heatran, which attempts to take advantage of Celesteela.

Celesteela is a solid defensive Pokemon in OU, its Steel / Flying typing and decent good bulk allow it to take on prevalent Psychic-types such as Mega Alakazam and Tapu Lele, as well as Ground-types like Landorus-T and Excadrill. The combination of Leech Seed + Protect allows Celesteela to annoy most of its switch-ins I think you could be a bit more specific with this. while keeping itself healthy. Flamethrower is used to hit Steel-types like Kartana, Mega Scizor, and Excadrill that Celesteela can be used to check, it also prevents Ferrothorn from getting free hazards against it. Toxapex forms a strong defensive core with Celesteela and appreciates that it can take on Psychic- and Ground-types This reads really awkward and as a result doesn't get the message across very well. Does Celesteela appreciate that Toxapex can take on Psychic- and Ground-types? That is what it reads like right now., they chip away at the opposing team with passive damage from Leech Seed and Toxic or Toxic Spikes. Celesteela appreciates Pokemon that can cover its defensive weakenesses; Tangrowth and Amoonguss can pivot into Electric-types consistently, while Mega Latias and Gliscor Maybe add Garchomp or Rotom-W here. can take on Heatran which attempts to take advantage of Celesteela.
