I'm really sad that the Kalos starters/ZA starters didn't get new signature moves with their Megas. Kalos poor phox mystical fire has been given to so many others, Greninja water shriken was only given to a random bug, and Spikey Shield...yeah also given out to many others. Meganium, Emboar, and Gatr could have really used a buff too.
Meanwhile Mat Block just ceased to exist lol (only work in double but it still had its niche in VGC before)

water shuriken having a new interaction w/ the mega (like the plus move in ZA) would have been so nice
75 bp priority water stab would be so juicy n useful
 
Why are you using hatt over corv? I think hatt should only be used with super rock weak Pokemon like volcarona but even then I think corv is just better bc stuff like excadrill and glimm or poison jab/SD garchomp invalidate hatt I would personally swap gliscor for garchomp, hatt for corv, and rotom for glowking, also you don’t really need a scatter if you have fake out lopunny imo so lopunny could be SD, fake out, facade, cc.
I don’t really want to add another fire weakness, corv is way too passive. I don’t need something that spams roost, defogs, and dies; imo, lop and corv just don't synergize.

Like for Chestnaught getting a better version of wood hammer, Delfox you could do like burned at the stake reference, Greninja could get a thing like it's "Pseudo-Mega" from SM where KOs make it stronger (tbh needs a lot of balancing), Meganuim can be fine w/ solar beam spam, my GOAT Emboar Needs something other than mold breaker (copy feraligatr's ability and make it fire type instead (or keep reckless)), feraligatr needs more physical normal moves to benefit from dragonize.
 
We should definitely leave stat pass alone. We would need to ban its use with any moves that give you a stat boost, every item that gives you a stat boost, and abilities that give you a stat boost including defiant competitive and contrary. Your opponent could use swagger on you or something and I think if you get swept by that its on you. You could use swagger on a magic bouncer and then pass that so banning it with swagger and its clones. In doubles you could use coaching and pass that but you are just wasting turns with that nonsense/easily shut down. I'm not sure did I miss something?
 
Toxic Orb is not in the game, and the inability to self-proc Poison Heal effectively kills its viability.
I used it a for a bit as a hazard setter and for teams with Hatterene it's actually hilarious how much of a problem it is. Healing 18% each turn is no joke. It's only funny tech and kinda matchup fishy tho
 
That Mega Raichu X clip from the initial February trailer is making rounds again because of its alleged ability being Electric Surge since the arena has the yellow hue which only appears if that terrain is up.
 
we're getting rocky helmet and black sludge in dlc 1, and as we go further it'll also get AV and such, and the lack of boots affects it definietly

heck I'm not even a stall player but I think premature celebration is just gonna end up aging very very poorly for whatever reason ILCA wants
How do you know we're getting rocky helmet and black sludge?
 
how is bastiodon i feel like its a solid tank better than aggron even with a chople berry but i dont see anyone using it is it a movepool issue or is it just not as good as i think

the latter, definitely the latter, base Aggron isn't very good at all to begin with anyways
its poor Typing leaving it at the mercy of the coverage of every physical attacker ever, its lack of reliable recovery and anything but Body Press being insanely passive

Lopunny has no normal STAB in Champions outside of... Mega Kick. And Giga Impact I guess.
It has quick attack but I feel like that is only really useful on fake out sets and even then fake out is probably good enough priority 95% of the time. That being said close combat is such a spammable move that I don't feel like Mega Lopunny needs its normal STAB that much. Sure it would be nice but it has plenty of solid options such as triple axel and u-turn. It even has encore if you want to be really cheeky. That being said I don't think anyone is denying Mega Lopunny can work without normal STAB so I will leave it there.

I feel like it struggles more against bulky fighting resist than before. U turning out is nice and all, but I do miss having unresisted STABs on it

Double edge would be a big boost for it for sure. The fact that it doesn't get much normal stab just baffles me. Dizzy Punch got dexited and it doesn't even get Take Down. (Volcarona learns Double Edge of all things, Gamefreak can't be serious...:tymp:)

Yeah just give this thing double edge. I thought I wouldn't have to gamble when Lopunny received Close Combat, then they force me to make an even bigger gamble if I want to use a strong normal STAB lol (Mega Kick begone).


Though this is the same game that decided that Aerodactyl should not learn a single recoil move despite having Rock Head lol
