Following the manager signups, the ChampPL hosts have decided to release the player signups! Welcome to the first iteration of the Champions Premier League! This tournament is long (5-7 weeks regular season and 2 weeks playoffs, not including tiebreakers) so keep in mind that you must be available throughout its duration. Signing up as a player means that you have made a commitment to not only being active but also to be a positive presence. Regardless of your team's performance and playoff chances, you will play with sportsmanship and contribute to your team. This includes following all Smogon tournament guidelines and rules which you can find here. Poor behavior in regards to this will be noticed and will affect future managers view on your worth in the future.

Only sign up for formats you are willing to play. If you do not want to play a metagame but don't include it in Tiers Not Played, you have no right to complain later if your manager wants to play you there. The formats you may sign up for are CHAMP OU, CHAMP VGC Bo3, CHAMP BSS Bo3, CHAMP UU, and CHAMP Draft.

Tier lock: We will be utilizing a tier lock through playoffs for all signups. This tierlock will not apply to any tiebreaks.

Some General Information:
  • Total teams: 8 teams.
  • Teams must have a minimum of 11 players (8 starters + 3 substitutes).
  • Each team has a 120,000 credits budget.
  • The winner team will receive a PS! Custom Avatar prize.

Why should you be drafted? I have a lot of experience in VGC formats since 2022, and have made good runs in smogon vgc tournaments (such as this year's spring seasonal, where i got top 8). I've also played a decent amount of champions OU in an off-site team tour.

Why should you be drafted? Predominantly VGC player with plenty of draft and low tier singles experience. 8-4 at Indy regs, T16 in the Spring Seasonal on Smogon. Planning to play a lot leading into next VGC season and all prep will be equally spent here
