When teambuilding for vgc, searching for a pokemon displays mythical and banned pokemons that are instead eligible for smogon's doubles, and it also shows their tiering, that might not be reflective of vgc's usage rankings due to the differences in the metas; this is higly unpractical and potentially confusing especially to newer players, that might not know what pokemons are playable and what aren't, and could also get a warped idea of what is good and what isn't before even playing the format.
I suggest making a separate search result which displays when a vgc format is selected, that only displays vgc-legal pokemons.
Secondarely, it might have a % usage threshold that tries to highlight only the e.g. ~25 top pokemon, to help distinguish the more meta options from the niche pokemons.
It could be debated how to organize the latter suggestion, maybe it could still use the smogon's rankings if it is difficult to program/plan the new stats; the former suggestion is what I think is most necessary.
