Aerodactyl @ Choice Band
Ability: Unnerve
EVs: 252 Atk / 80 Def / 176 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake
- Pursuit
- Aqua Tail

Aerodactyl is a potent threat due to its high Speed, which allows it to outpace most of the NU metagame, meaning it's often able to use a Choice Band-boosted Stone Edge before the foe can attack. Thanks to its high Speed, Aerodactyl also acts as a check to top threats such as Sceptile, Sneasel, and Heliolisk. Earthquake and Aqua Tail are the coverage moves of choice, allowing Aerodactyl to hit Steel- and Ground-types such as Steelix, Rhydon, and Klinklang super effectively. Pursuit lets Aerodactyl trap Psychic- and Ghost-types such as Assault Vest Slowbro as well as Colbur Berry Rotom and Dhelmise, which can't use their item due to Aerodactyl's Unnerve ability. Aerodactyl's poor bulk and mediocre defensive typing mean it often struggles to switch in, so Pokemon that can bring it in via U-turn or Volt Switch such as Decidueye, Heliolisk, and Rotom are appreciated; the latter also provides crucial Defog support.

Ever since it arrived in the NU tier, Aerodactyl has been a potent threat due to It’s high Speed which allows it to outpace and check top threats such as Sceptile, Sneasel and Heliolisk. wording here is weird, it seems like you're going to list the reasons as to why it's a potent threat, but the next sentence doesn't follow that structure. try and fix this It’s solid Attack which is further boosted by a Choice Band means STAB Stone Edge hits hard against anything that doesn’t resist it. band edge doesn't even 2hko slowbro so this is overhyping aero's abilities Earthquake and Aqua Tail are the coverage moves of choice, allowing Aerodactyl to hit Steel- and Ground-types such as Steelix, Rhydon, and Klinklang. Pursuit lets Aerodactyl trap Ghost- and Psychic-types such as Rotom, Dhelmise, and Assualt Vest Slowbro, Unnerve also means these Pokemon can’t use a Colbur Berry. expand with named examples, like colbur rotom Due to its poor bulk and mediocre defensive typing, Aerodactyl often struggles to switch in, so Pokemon that can bring it in via U-turn or Volt Switch such as Heliolisk, Rotom, and Decidueye are appreciated, the latter also provide crucial Defog support.

Aerodactyl is a potent threat due to It’s its high Speed, (AC) which allows it to outpace most of the NU metagame, meaning it’s it's often able to use a Choice Band boosted Band-boosted Stone Edge before the opponent foe (opponent=opposing player) can attack,. (RC) (AP) It’s coverage allows it to hit any Pokemon that resist its STAB. (Banks, don't say "STABs" here, as a: stab is the bonus not the move so do not refer to STAB moves as STABs, and b: aero only has one STAB move on this set. Also, this is pretty much just saying the same thing as two sentences later so it's pointless to have here as well.) Thanks to its high Speed, Aerodactyl also acts as a check to top threats such as Sceptile, Sneasel, (AC) and Heliolisk. Earthquake and Aqua Tail are the coverage moves of choice, allowing Aerodactyl to hit Steel- and Ground-types such as Steelix, Rhydon, and Klinklang super effectively. Pursuit lets Aerodactyl trap Psychic- and Ghost-types such as Assualt Assault Vest Slowbro as well as Colbur Berry Rotom (Banks, this set of changes was incorrect and changed the meaning of the sentence. "as well as" implies the previous example was more important than the following examples, and adding the comma in between rotom and dhelmise lost the information of Dhelmise also being Colbur.) and Dhelmise, (AC) which can’t can't use their item due to Aerodactyl’s Aerodactyl's Unnerve ability. Poor bulk and a Aerodactyl's poor bulk and mediocre defensive typing means Aerodactyl mean it often struggles to switch in, so Pokemon that can bring it in via U-turn or Volt Switch such as Decidueye, Heliolisk, and Rotom, (RC) and Decidueye are appreciated,; (RC,ASC) the latter also provides crucial Defog support.
