[SET COMMENTS]

Haunter is a great Choice Scarf user and late-game cleaner in NU because it outspeeds other notable Choice Scarf users such as Rotom, Passimian, and Bruxish and has perfect coverage for the tier. Shadow Ball threatens Ghost- and Psychic-types such as Drifblim, Rotom, and Medicham, while Focus Blast threatens Normal- and Dark-types such as Dudunsparce, Ursaring, and Umbreon that can comfortably switch into Shadow Ball. Trick lets Haunter punish walls such as Chansey, Poison Touch Muk, and Umbreon by crippling them with a Choice Scarf. Sludge Bomb threatens Pokemon such as Appletun and Cacturne and can inflict poison on special walls like Eelektross, which pressures them throughout the match. It can also threaten various Pokemon such as Tera Fairy Umbreon and Drifblim. Nasty Plot can be run instead to give Haunter a boosting option after it has gotten rid of its Choice Scarf via Trick, threatening Pokemon such as Umbreon much more effectively. Destiny Bond can be used as a last resort to neutralize dangerous setup sweepers such as Coil Eelektross, Coil Sandaconda, and Bulk Up Ursaring as well as punish offensive threats such as Passimian, Zoroark, and Scyther that may attempt to revenge kill Haunter after it has lost its Choice Scarf. Tera Ghost is able to increase Haunter's cleaning potential by powering up Shadow Ball. Tera Fighting can be used to assist Haunter versus Pokemon such as Cacturne and Lycanroc by granting resistances to Sucker Punch and Accelerock, and it also powers up Focus Blast. Haunter has horrible bulk and cannot take even resisted hits well, so it is advised that you pair it with pivots such as Eelektross, Passimian, and Scyther. Furthermore, Haunter struggles with special walls such as Chansey, Umbreon, and Muk, so powerful physical attackers such as Passimian and Medicham can assist in solving this issue.

Haunter is a great choice scarfer Choice Scarf user and late-game cleaner in the SV NU Metagame, with a great speed tier at 95 which because it outspeeds other notable scarfers such as Rotom, Passimian, and Medicham Bruxish. (more common scarfer and a better mention imo. Also at the end of this line, add in the perfect coverage mention on line 2 to clarify another reason why Haunter is a good scarfer since its more than just being speedy) Shadow Ball and Focus Blast is perfect coverage for the tier, with Shadow Ball being able to threaten threatening other Ghosts who are immune to Fighting such as Drifblim and Rotom while Focus Blast threatens Normal- and Dark-types such as Dudunsparce, Ursaring, and Umbreon. (this last line should be reworded to mention Shadow Ball as the STAB of choice with Focus Blast making for near perfect coverage that covers the Pokemon Shadow Ball doesn't hit, rather than what it is now, which reads as Focus Blast being the main option and Shadow Ball being the complementary move to hit "Ghosts that are immune to Fighting...") Trick is used to punish would be walls such as Chansey, Poison Touch Muk, and Umbreon by crippling them with a Choice Scarf. Sludge Bomb is a great neutral option that can threaten Normal- and Dark-types such as Dudunsparce and Mabosstiff neutrally, with the added bonus of being able to threaten various Tera-Fairy Pokemon such as Tera Fairy Umbreon and Drifblim. (You've already mentioned Focus Blast for Normal- and Dark-types so this doesn't need to be added here. This also begs the question, is that the only use/the main use for Sludge? The tera fairy mention is important, but mentioning it as an alternate STAB that can hit stuff like appletun or poison fish should be on here. Idt it as neutral coverage for normal and dark types is its main use is my point, should be reworded to reflect that) Nasty Plot can be ran instead to give Haunter a boosting option after it has tricked away its Choice Scarf and notably threaten Pokemon such as Umbreon much more effectively. Lastly, Destiny Bond can be a great way to neutralize a dangerous set-up sweepers such as Coil Eelektross and Dudunsparce Sandaconda as a last resort. (a lot of dudunsparce mentions already on here + coil sanda/BU Ursaring are more common, which should probably be mentioned, in my experience. Also, mention in the D-Bond line that you can catch offensive Pokemon that might think to KO non-scarf haunter off guard like Pass, Jolt, Mabo, Scyther, Zoro etc etc) Tera Ghost is able to help Haunter's cleaning potential by powering up Shadow Ball. Tera Fighting can be used to assist Haunter versus priority (tera fight only really helps versus Sucker and Accelerock, not all prio ie. Aqua Jet. Reword slightly to clarify that) such as Sucker Punch from Cacturne while powering up Focus Blast. Haunter has horrible bulk and cannot take even neutral hits well at all, so it is advised that you pair Haunter with pivots such as Eelektross, Passimian, and Scyther. Furthermore, Haunter can struggle with special walls such as Chansey, Umbreon and Muk., so Ppowerful physical attackers such as Passimian and Medicham can assist versus this issue.

Shadow Ball is Haunter's STAB of choice, threatening other Ghosts- and Psychic-types such as Drifblim, Rotom, and Medicham while Focus Blast threatens Normal- and Dark-types such as Dudunsparce, Ursaring, and Umbreon that will comfortably switch into Shadow Ball. Sludge Bomb is a great alternative STAB option that can threaten Pokemon such as Appletun and Cacturne while possibly inflicting poison on Pokemon such as special walls like Eelektross, which pressures them throughout a game. Sludge Bomb also can also threaten various Tera Fairy Pokemon such as Tera Fairy Umbreon and Drifblim. Nasty Plot can be ran instead to give Haunter a boosting option after it has tricked away its Choice Scarf and notably threaten Pokemon such as Umbreon much more effectively. Lastly, Destiny Bond can be a great way to neutralize a dangerous set-up sweepers and offensive threats such as Coil Eelektross, Coil Sandaconda, and Bulk Up Ursaring as a last resort, and can also be used to punish offensive threats Pokemon such as Passimian, Zoroark., (AC) and Scyther who may attempt to revenge kill non-scarf variants of Haunter. Tera Ghost is able to help Haunter's cleaning potential by powering up Shadow Ball. Tera Fighting can be used to assist Haunter versus Pokemon such as Cacturne and Lycanroc due to resisting Sucker Punch and Accelerock while powering up Focus Blast. Haunter is a great Choice Scarfer user and late-game (ah) cleaner in the SV NU Metagame because it outspeeds other notable scarfers Choice Scarf users such as Rotom, Passimian, (ac) and Bruxish while having and has perfect coverage for the tier. Shadow Ball is Haunter's STAB move of choice, threatening Ghost- and Psychic-types such as Drifblim, Rotom, and Medicham while Focus Blast threatens Normal- and Dark-types such as Dudunsparce, Ursaring, and Umbreon that will can comfortably switch into Shadow Ball. Trick is used to punish would be walls such as Chansey, Poison Touch Muk, and Umbreon by crippling them with a Choice Scarf. Sludge Bomb It can also threaten various Tera Fairy Pokemon such as Tera Fairy (redundancy) Umbreon and Drifblim. Nasty Plot can be ran instead to give Haunter a boosting option after it has Tricked away its Choice Scarf, (ac) and notably threatening Pokemon such as Umbreon much more effectively. Lastly, Destiny Bond can be used as a great way last resort to neutralize a dangerous set-up (rh) sweepers such as Coil Eelektross, Coil Sandaconda, and Bulk Up Ursaring as a last resort, and can also be used to punish offensive threats such as Passimian, Zoroark, and Scyther who that may attempt to revenge kill non-scarf variants of Haunter after it loses its Choice Scarf. (should refer to Haunter after it has Tricked Choice Scarf away or lost it by other means as opposed to different Haunter sets altogether) Tera Ghost is able to help increase Haunter's cleaning potential by powering up Shadow Ball. Tera Fighting can be used to assist Haunter versus Pokemon such as Cacturne and Lycanroc due to resisting its resistance to Sucker Punch and Accelerock, (ac) and it also while powering powers up Focus Blast. Haunter has horrible bulk and cannot take even even take resisted hits well, so it is advised that you pair Haunter it with pivots Pokemon that can provide it with a free switch in such as Eelektross, Passimian, and Scyther. (clarifies why these teammates mitigate the problem of Haunter's bad bulk) Furthermore, Haunter can struggle with against special walls such as Chansey, Umbreon, (ac) and Muk, so powerful physical attackers such as Passimian and Medicham can assist versus in solving this issue.
