[SET]
name: Choice Scarf
move 1: Electro Drift
move 2: Draco Meteor / Dazzling Gleam
move 3: Overheat
move 4: U-turn
item: Choice Scarf
ability: Hadron Engine
nature: Timid
evs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
tera type: Fairy / Electric

[SET COMMENTS]
  • Choice Scarf makes Miraidon an effective revenge killer, late-game sweeper, and pivot, taking advantage of its great Speed, naturally amazing offenses, and access to U-turn.
  • Electro Drift is a strong STAB move that is capable of OHKOing many foes like Chien-Pao, Chi-Yu, offensive Gholdengo, and Flutter Mane after Stealth Rock.
  • Draco Meteor's biggest advantage is its ability to OHKO opposing Miraidon and Koraidon. It also gives Miraidon crucial coverage against Ground-types.
  • Dazzling Gleam can be used as a more consistent alternative to Draco Meteor, since it hits almost all the same targets while also hitting Ting-Lu for super effective damage. The biggest problem with using Dazzling Gleam over Draco Meteor is that Miraidon struggles even more against Clodsire.
  • Overheat provides crucial coverage against Iron Treads and often serves as a good midground because of its high Base Power.
  • U-turn helps Miraidon pivot out of the Ground-type Pokemon that commonly switch into it. Teammates like Iron Bundle can capitalize on this.
  • Tera Fairy is the preferred option because it helps Miraidon deal with opposing Miraidon and Koraidon and removes its weaknesses to Ice- and Fairy-type moves. It also helps Miraidon better deal with Sucker Punch as a bonus.
  • Tera Electric is useful for removing Miraidon's Dragon, Ice, and Fairy weaknesses while powering up its best move in Electro Drift. This is most useful late-game after opposing Ground-types are removed.
  • Iron Bundle, Chien-Pao, Great Tusk, and Koraidon are good teammates for this set, since they are strong attackers that can threaten out common specially defensive Ground-types such as Ting-Lu and Iron Treads.

This thing spends a lot of time clicking U-Turn and Overheat, because locking into Drift/Draco (too early) is asking for trouble. Therefore, Tera Fire is very legitimate as it resists both Ice and Fairy, and actually breaks Clod in Sun.

I considered that, but the Stealth Rock weakness tends to be too severe.

Electro Drift is a strong STAB move that is capable of OHKOing many foes without needing any prior damage like Chien-Pao, Chi-Yu, offensive Gholdengo, and Flutter Mane 50% of the time.
252 SpA Hadron Engine Miraidon Electro Drift vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Flutter Mane in Electric Terrain: 225-265 (89.6 - 105.5%) -- 37.5% chance to OHKO
Not 50%, maybe just say that it OHKOes after Stealth Rock

Draco Meteor is as strong as Electro Drift is (after the Electric Terrain base power boost) but is able to OHKO opposing Dragon-Types and deal heavy damage to Ground-Types like Great Tusk and Ting-Lu.
Don't use brackets to explain things, just make it flow in a sentence. You don't need to explain that it's the same power though, that doesn't have much impact on the analysis and is basic info the game gives you when you hover over a boosted electro drift. Can just remove that part and focus on how useful it is to take out opposing mirai and korai.

Iron Bundle, Chien-Pao, Great Tusk, and Koraidon are good teammates for this set since they are strong attackers that can threaten out common specially defensive Ground-Types (Ting-Lu and Iron Treads).
Same thing w brackets here

In the trade-off for Draco and Gleam part I'd mention that the main thing you miss out on is Clodsire, because it suddenly is really hard to take down even when chipped.

I'd personally slash tera fairy first just for its defensive utility (sucker pao / kingambit, opposing tera using dragons, ground moves in general) since there aren't too many pokemon that need a powered up Electro Drift for it to take them out even if you aren't running tera fairy. Only thing I can think of that you really like the damage on is like Annihilape and Garganacl which don't die regardless but are just hit harder.

U-turn allows it to capitalize on it inviting Ground-Types because it provides initiative and a bit of damage. This is useful earlier in the game because it can give free switches to teammates like Iron Bundle who can threaten those Ground-Types but would normally struggle to switch in.
i would shorten this a bit, maybe something like "U-turn helps Miraidon pivot out of the Ground-type Pokemon that commonly switch into it."

Tera Fairy is the preferred option since it is crucial when facing off against opposing Miraidon and Koraidon, providing a Dragon-Type immunity and a Fighting-Type resistance. It is also useful for removing the Ground-, Fairy-, and Ice-Type weaknesses. The Sucker Punch resistance is often useful when facing Chien-Pao and Kingambit.
again i would shorten this a bit, i feel like its too long. maybe something like "Tera Fairy is the preferred option because it helps lure out opposing Miraidon, Koraidon, and live priority moves like Ice Shard and Sucker Punch."

  • Choice Scarf makes Miraidon an effective revenge killer, late-game sweeper, and pivoting tool thanks to it's pivot, taking advantage of its great speed Speed, naturally amazing offenses, and access to U-turn. (you're talking about things Miraidon has so I figured "access to" makes sense here)
  • Electro Drift is a strong STAB move that is capable of OHKOing many foes like Chien-Pao, Chi-Yu, offensive Gholdengo, and Flutter Mane after Stealth Rock.
  • Draco Meteor's biggest advantage is the its ability to OHKO opposing Miraidon and Koraidon. It is also crucial gives Miraidon crucial coverage against Ground-Types Ground-types. , providing good damage.
  • Dazzling Gleam can be used as a more consistent alternative to Draco Meteor, (comma) since it hits almost all the same targets while also hitting Ting-Lu for super-effective super effective damage. The biggest problem with using Dazzling Gleam over Draco Meteor is that Miraidon is then walled by Clodsire.
  • Overheat provides crucial coverage for hitting against Iron Treads and often serves as a good midground because of it's its high base power Base Power.
  • U-turn helps Miraidon pivot in face out of the Ground-type Pokemon that commonly switch into it, it. this is best capitalized of with teammates like Iron Bundle. Teammates like Iron Bundle can capitalize on this.
  • Tera Fairy is the preferred option because it helps Miraidon deal with opposing Miraidon, (remove comma) and Koraidon, (remove comma) and removes its weaknesses to and survive Ice- and Fairy-Type Fairy-type moves. (full stop) that are commonly aimed at Miraidon. It also helps Miraidon better deal with Sucker Punch as a bonus.
  • Tera Electric is useful for removing it's Miraidon's Dragon-, Ice-, and Fairy-Type (remove all the hyphens, you can just have the type name) weaknesses while powering up its best move in Electro Drift. This is most useful late-game after the opposing Ground-Types Ground-types are removed.
  • Iron Bundle, Chien-Pao, Great Tusk, and Koraidon are good teammates for this set, (add comma) since they are strong attackers that can threaten out common specially defensive Ground-types Ground-Types, of which most common are such as Ting-Lu and Iron Treads.
