Moves

Trick is able to cripple specially defensive Pokemon such as Audino, Lanturn, and Type: Null that might switch in on Rotom-F when it doesn't require the added Speed provided by the item. Defog can let Rotom-F remove entry hazards in an emergency, though the option isn't very reliable, since Rotom-F is weak to Stealth Rock and would rather not be locked in a status move most of the time.

Set Details
========

Choice Scarf allows Rotom-F to outspeed Pokemon like Oricorio-E, non-Choice Scarf Dodrio, and Silvally-Fairy, granting it its ability to check a big portion of the tier and function as a reliable revenge killer. A Timid nature allows Rotom-F to outspeed +2 Modest Omastar as well as other Choice Scarf users like Skuntank and Kabutops.

Usage Tips
========

Choice Scarf Rotom-F should try to function as a revenge killer and check to many Pokemon such as Oricorio-G, Kabutops, and Alolan Persian thanks to its unresisted coverage and formidable Speed. If the opposing team lacks a solid a solid counter such as Lanturn or Audino, this set can be utilized early-game to soften up foes for a late-game cleaner. Rotom-F is even able to break through some less bulky specially defensive Pokemon such as Eelektross thanks to its high Special Attack and BoltBeam coverage. Since Rotom-F is able to threaten Ground-types such as Mudsdale and Golurk, predict well on when to use Blizzard and when to use Volt Switch; once you successfully predict a Ground-type switch-in by using Blizzard or those Pokemon have been removed by other teammates, Rotom-F will be able to use its Electric-type STAB moves freely. Bluffing a non-Choice Scarf set can turn Rotom-F into an even more threatening revenge killer late-game if the opposing team doesn't have a faster Choice Scarf user like Primeape or a priority user such as Gurdurr. Utilizing Trick when Rotom-F doesn't require the added Speed is a valuable way of crippling expected switch-ins such as Lanturn, Assault Vest Crabominable, and Cryogonal.

Team Options
========

Fighting-type answers such as Oricorio-E, Victreebel, and Tangela are able to check or counter Pokemon such as Gurdurr and Choice Scarf Primeape, effectively threatening some of the most common revenge killers for Choice Scarf Rotom-F. In return, Rotom-F cripples their checks like Cryogonal and Lanturn with Trick. Other pivots such as Alolan Persian, Eelektross, and Primeape can form a VoltTurn core with Rotom-F to help maintain momentum and bring in offensive threats. Pokemon such as Stoutland, Lycanroc, and Kangaskhan are able to threaten slower special walls such as Audino and Lanturn, even being able to Pursuit trap them in the case of Stoutland. In return, Rotom-F is able to threaten physical walls such as Mudsdale and Tangela, as well as being able to bring these Pokemon in safely through Volt Switch. Entry hazard setters like Mudsdale and Qwilfish are able to support Rotom-F by effectively wearing down Pokemon such as Eelektross and Crabominable with Stealth Rock, Spikes, and Toxic. They're also able to counter or threaten Choice Scarf Primeape, while Rotom-F checks Pokemon such as Victreebel and Jellicent. Due to its Stealth Rock weakness, more reliable hazard removes such as Skuntank, Alolan Sandslash, and Silvally-Fairy are valuable partners for Rotom-F. Skuntank and Alolan Sandslash appreciate Rotom-F's ability to check Ground-types, while Silvally-Fairy is also able to create a Parting Shot + Volt Switch core and check Fighting-types such as Primeape and Gurdurr.

(nice bullet point uwu) Trick is able to cripple Specially Defensive such as Audino, Type:Null, and Lanturn Pokemon that might switch in on Rotom-F when it doesn’t require the added Speed provided by the item in order to revenge kill.
  • i'd mention defog here, but dont slash it. volt + blizz is all u rlly need and the utility defog brings is rlly nice

Set Details

  • A Choice Scarf allows Rotom-F to outspeed Pokemon like Oricorio-E, non-Choice Scarf Dodrio, and Silvally-F, allowing it to function as a reliable revenge killer and check to a big portion of the tier.
  • A Timid nature allows Rotom-F to outspeed Modest Omastar at +2 as well as other Choice Scarf users like Skuntank and Kabutops.
Usage Tips
========

  • Choice Scarf Rotom-Frost should try to function as a threatening revenge killer and check to many Pokemon (such as?) in the tier thanks to its unresisted coverage and formidable Speed.
  • This set can be utilized early game to cause big amounts of damage to the opposing team if it lacks solid counters such as Lanturn and Audino for a sweeper to win in the end-game. Rotom-Frost is even able to break through some less bulky Specially Defensive Pokemon such as Eelektross thanks to Blizzard.
  • While Rotom-Frost is able to threaten Ground-types such as Mudsdale and Golurk, it should attempt to only utilize moves like Volt Switch when these targets are less likely to switch in due to fear of its other STAB move or when they’re neutralized. While this can be prediction based, the ability to threaten these Pokemon with a powerful STAB Blizzard should also be used smartly, even allowing Rotom-F to get rid of these Pokemon on an expected switch-in, allowing it to utilize its Electric-type STAB moves freely afterwards.
  • Keeping Rotom-Frost healthy for the end-game or bluffing its Choice Scarf can turn it into a threatening wincon in the end game if the opposing team doesn’t have a faster Choice Scarf user like Primeape or a slower revenge killer such as Gurdurr.
  • Utilizing Trick when you don’t require the added Speed is a valuable way of crippling expected switch-ins such as Lanturn, Crabominable, and Cryogonal, effectively making it harder for them to perform their roles both as defensive Pokemon thanks to the loss of their original item or their utility. (in crab's case, it also makes it harder for it to switch into frosttom)
Team Options
========

  • other volt / u-turn users (ape for example)
  • Fighting-type checks such as Tangela, and Oricorio-E are able to check or counter Pokemon such as Gurdurr and Choice Scarf Primeape, effectively threatening some of the most common revenge killers for Choice Scarf Rotom-F.
  • Pokemon such as Stoutland and Kangaskhan are able to threaten slower Specially Defensive walls such as Audino and Lanturn. In return, Rotom-F is able to threaten physical walls such as Mudsdale and Tangela. (they also appreciate volt, effectively bringing them safely against these. stout can also pursuit trap these)
  • Hazard setters like Mudsdale and Qwilfish are able to support Rotom-Frost by creating as much chip as possible with Stealth Rock, Spikes and Toxic, effectively wearing down Pokemon such as Eelektross and defensive Alolan Sandslash. (i mean, alolan sandslash is 3hkoed by tbolt so idk abt mentioning it) They’re also able to counter or threaten Choice Scarf Primeape, while Rotom-Frost checks Pokemon such as Victreebel and Jellicent.
  • Due to its Stealth Rock weakness, hazard removes such as Skuntank, Alolan Sandslash, (they appreciate frosttom's ability to blanket check most ground-types) and Silvally-F are valuable partners for Rotom-F. Silvally-F is also able to create a Parting Shot-Volt Switch core and check Fighting-types such as Primeape and Gurdurr.
  • Pokemon such as Gurdurr and Lycanroc appreciate Rotom-F's ability to threaten physical walls such as Tangela and Mudsdale. (you already semi-cover this in previous points. i'd either expand on this or nuke this)
Nice work, QC 1/3

Defog can be an option in the fourth slot for granting Rotom-F a way of providing more utility in the form of an emergency hazard remover, though the option isn’t very reliable since Rotom-F usually wants to remain offensive "usually wants to remain offensive" should really just be "locking urself into a non-damaging, non-offensive status move blows 85% of the time so dont do this unless u have to and is also weak to Stealth Rock.

Usage Tips

Choice Scarf Rotom-F should try to function as a threatening revenge killer and check to many Pokemon such as Oricorio-G, Kabutops, and Alolan Persian in the tier thanks to its unresisted coverage and formidable Speed. This set can be utilized early game to cause big amounts of damage to the opposing team if it lacks solid counters such as Lanturn and Audino for a sweeper to win in the end-game. Rotom-F is even able to break through some less bulky Specially Defensive Pokemon such as Eelektross thanks to its high Special Attack and coverage coverage normally implies having random non-stab moves, I'd specify bolt beam here because it's also something people know to be good neutral. While Rotom-F is able to threaten Ground-types such as Mudsdale and Golurk, it should attempt to only utilize moves like Volt Switch when these targets are less likely to switch in due to fear of its other STAB move or after they’ve been neutralized read this sentence out loud, the emphasis isn't in the right place. While it can threaten grounds it shouldn't use electrics unless it can threaten grounds is just grammatically bad. While this can be prediction based, the ability to threaten these Pokemon with a powerful STAB Blizzard should also be used smartly, even allowing Rotom-F to get rid of these Pokemon on an expected switch-in, allowing it to utilize its Electric-type STAB moves freely afterwards this is also a lot of explanation for something really really simple. Keeping Rotom-F healthy for the end-game or bluffing its Choice Scarf u mean bluffing it's not scarfed can turn it into a threatening wincon but that's not what a bluff does, bluff gets a surprise kill if the opposing team doesn't have a faster Choice Scarf user like Primeape or a slower revenge killer such as Gurdurr yeah the emphasis here is all wrong. i totally disagree that u keep this healthy to turn it into a wincon, its health doesnt tend to matter. talking about bluffing scarf is good, but u say that's about making it a wincon and that's not right. I would figure out what you're trying to say with this point. Utilizing Trick when you don’t require the added Speed is a valuable way of crippling expected switch-ins such as Lanturn, Assault Vest Crabominable, and Cryogonal, effectively making it harder for them to perform their roles as defensive Pokemon thanks to the loss of their original item or their utility again, very long winded when you could cut off the entire sentence after cryogonal.

Team Options
========

Fighting-type answers such as Oricorio-E why would u run this next to rotom-f? prob a different example here and Tangela are able to check or counter Pokemon such as Gurdurr and Choice Scarf Primeape, effectively threatening some of the most common revenge killers for Choice Scarf Rotom-F. In return, Rotom-F cripples their checks like Cryogonal and Lanturn with Trick. Other offensive threats why just say offensive threats when u then re-specify to pivots later? just say pivots and go right into volt turn such as Alolan Persian, Eelektross, and Primeape can function well with Rotom-F thanks to their ability to maintain momentum through their pivoting moves and for bringing in offensive threats. Pokemon such as Stoutland, Lycanroc, and Kangaskhan are able to threaten slower Specially Defensive walls such as Audino and Lanturn, even being able to Pursuit trap them in the case of Stoutland. Defog can be an option in the fourth slot for granting Rotom-F a way of providing more utility in the form of an emergency hazard remover let Rotom-F remove entry hazards in an emergency, (way more concise) though the option isn't very reliable, (AC) since Rotom-F is weak to Stealth Rock (flows better) and would rather not be locked in a non-attacking status move most of the time and is also weak to Stealth Rock.

Choice Scarf Rotom-F should try to function as a threatening (ah, yes, the level of skill at pkmn such that you can control your mons' level of threateningness) revenge killer and check to many Pokemon such as Oricorio-G, Kabutops, and Alolan Persian in the tier thanks to its unresisted coverage and formidable Speed. This If the opposing team lacks solid a solid counter such as Lanturn or Audino, this set can be utilized early game to cause big amounts of damage to the opposing team if it lacks solid counters such as Lanturn and Audino for a sweeper to win in the end-game early-game to soften up foes for a late-game cleaner. Due to Rotom-F being choice locked and since its is able to threaten Ground-types such as Mudsdale and Golurk, it should attempt to only utilize moves like Volt Switch as these targets are less likely to switch in due to fear of its other STAB move or after they've been neutralized. (that couple sentences was incomprehensible so i'm pretty sure this is what you meant?) Bluffing the a non-Choice Scarf set can turn Rotom-F into an even more threatening revenge killer in the end-game late-game if the opposing team doesn't have a faster Choice Scarf user like Primeape or a slower revenge killer priority user such as Gurdurr. Utilizing Trick when you don't require the added Speed is a valuable way of crippling expected switch-ins such as Lanturn, Assault Vest Crabominable, and Cryogonal.
