In return, Rotom-F is able to threaten physical walls such as Mudsdale and Tangela, as well as being able to bring these Pokemon in safely through Volt Switch. Entry hazard setters like Mudsdale and Qwilfish are able to support Rotom-F by effectively wearing down Pokemon such as Eelektross and Crabominable with Stealth Rock, Spikes, and Toxic. They're also able to counter or threaten Choice Scarf Primeape, while Rotom-F checks Pokemon such as Victreebel and Jellicent. Due to its Stealth Rock weakness, more reliable hazard removes such as Skuntank, Alolan Sandslash, and Silvally-Fairy are valuable partners for Rotom-F. Skuntank and Alolan Sandslash appreciate Rotom-F's ability to check Ground-types, while Silvally-Fairy is also able to create a Parting Shot-Volt Switch VoltTurn core with Parting Shot and check Fighting-types such as Primeape and Gurdurr.
