Glare is used to paralyze fast threats that could be an issue for slower builds and cripple switch-ins to Serperior like Heatran, Mega Scizor, and Tornadus-T to increase its chances of breaking past them later on. Defog can remove entry hazards in a pinch, allowing teammates at low HP to have one more go. Knock Off can help with removing items like Assault Vest and Leftovers, which could later help Serperior break past certain Pokemon that would otherwise wall it, like Assault Vest Tangrowth and Magearna and Leftovers Celesteela and Ferrothorn. Removing Chansey's Eviolite can also be very helpful. Hidden Power Fire is an option over either Defog, if your team doesn't need the added entry hazard control, or Knock Off and complements Leaf Storm by weakening Grass- and Steel-types such as Ferrothorn and Mega Scizor that can take multiple Leaf Storms with relative ease while also being able to revenge kill Choice Scarf Kartana. Toxic is another option that helps with breaking Pokemon like Zapdos and Tangrowth.

Set Details
========

Maximum Speed with a Choice Scarf and a Timid nature lets Serperior outspeed most of the tier due to its great Speed tier, including opposing Choice Scarf users like Landorus-T and Kartana that could otherwise revenge kill it, setup sweepers that have acquired a Speed boost like Zygarde and Volcarona, and naturally faster Pokemon like Mega Alakazam and Ash-Greninja.

Usage Tips
========

Serperior's main purpose is to clean late-game, when the opponent's Grass-type answers have been weakened and counters have been eliminated. Try to weaken opposing Pokemon that can take Leaf Storm with the rest of your team, and with Serperior's support options, as this increases Serperior's chances to clean. Until this has been accomplished, Serperior will mostly find itself using Glare and Knock Off to support its teammates before it's ready to clean. As Leaf Storm only has 8 PP, it is important to keep track of how many times you need to use it late-game. Pressure users like Zapdos and Kyurem quickly drain PP, so watch out for those. Glare can paralyze offensive switch-ins, easing up Serperior's job, while also providing speed control for slower Pokemon on your team that appreciate faster checks being crippled. Because of the great pressure Serperior often exerts on bulkier builds, it gets many opportunities to use Defog when forcing a switch. Using Knock Off to remove Leftovers on switch-ins like Heatran, Celesteela, and Ferrothorn, Eviolite from Chansey, or the occasional Assault Vest from Tangrowth or Magearna could also be very beneficial for Serperior's chances to clean up.

Team Options
========

Choice Scarf Serperior is often found on more offensive builds, as the role compression it provides is often very useful. Slow wallbreakers like Mega Heracross and Mega Mawile appreciate the Glare support that Serperior provides, as it further helps them with punching holes and breaking through the opponent's team without having to worry about getting revenge killed by a faster check. Breaking past walls with these Pokemon also helps Serperior out late-game by increasing its chances to clean. Stealth Rock setters like Landorus-T and Heatran and Spikers like Ash-Greninja provide good teammates, as the chip damage from their entry hazards makes Leaf Storm harder to switch into. Magnezone's Magnet Pull is very helpful in trapping Steel-types, which can often provide trouble for Serperior. Heatran is a great partner, as it beats Steel-types like Celesteela and Ferrothorn and Fire-types like certain variants of Mega Charizard X and Volcarona, which both resist Leaf Storm and can often easily stop Serperior's attempts at cleaning if at high enough HP. Ash-Greninja is another great partner, as it can offensively pressure Steel- and Fire-types as well, which helps out Serperior a lot. Mega Alakazam can help with weakening Steel-types like Ferrothorn and Heatran for Serperior, and in return it appreciates the Knock Off support Serperior provides. Zygarde's Thousand Arrows is a great way of breaking past Steel-types, and it also appreciates Serperior's Glare support if it's not running Glare itself.

  • the moves on the set should be as follows:
Code:
move 1: Leaf Storm
move 2: Glare
move 3: Defog / Hidden Power Fire
move 4: Knock Off / Hidden Power Fire
  • toxic should be kept in moves.
[Moves]
  • make sure the moves follow the exact same order presented on the set btw.
  • remove the leaf storm bullet, it’s mostly fluff and the move is super self-explanatory so please cut it entirely.
[Set Details]
  • merge the points about choice scarf and the evs and specify that timid is the ability of choice to outspeed scarf kartana etc.
  • no need to mention contrary, it’s also super self-explanatory.
[Usage Tips]
  • i don’t quite agree with the notion of weakining stuff with leaf storm is a good idea mid game, chances are your opponent has a steel-type that really doesn’t mind leaf storm, be it heatran, ferrothorn, celesteela, mega scizor etc. the best advice is to usually spam knock off and glare just to cripple these and save serperior for later.
[Team Options]
  • make a point about scarf serperior generally getting used on more offensive oriented teams by compressing several roles, that of a cleaner, a potential defogger, and utility with glare and knock. you don’t have to list the roles compressed though.
  • toxapex isn’t a serperior check at all. it can’t come in because while it does tank two it’s forced to haze afterwards and at that point it just drops to leaf storm again. you can mention the added power of bulu helping with the likes of tornadus-t and zapdos tho.
  • on the mega heracross and mega mawile mention say that serperior their wallbreakiness also helps serperior sweep later.
  • on the heatran point, emphasize something like “most variants of” before referring to volcarona and mega charizard x because hidden power ground and earthquake are a thing.
qc 1/3, good work!

  • Glare can be used to paralyze fast threats that could provide an issue for the rest of the team on slower builds, or cripple switch-ins to Serperior to increase its chances of breaking past them later on. (list some examples like Torn-T and Heatran)
  • Defog can be used to remove hazards in a pinch, allowing teammates at low HP to have one more go and ease up bringing in hazard-weak mons like Mega Pinsir or Volcarona more often.
  • Knock Off can help with knocking items like an Assault Vest or Leftovers off, which could later help Serperior break past certain mons that would otherwise wall it, like Tangrowth. (mention Magearna)
  • HP Fire can be used as an option over Defog or Knock Off, and helps Leaf Storm out by weakening Grass and Steel-types such as Ferrothorn, Celesteela and Mega Scizor that can take multiple Leaf Storms with relative ease.
  • Toxic is another option that could be considered, as it helps with breaking mons like Zapdos and Tangrowth easier. (mention Torn here too)

Set Details

  • Max Speed with a Choice Scarf outspeeds most of the tier due to it’s great speed tier, while maximizing Special Attack makes it hit as hard as possible. Timid is the Nature of choice, as it allows Serperior to outpace Scarf Kartana and the likes. (remove bit about SpA bc it's fluff and focus on how scarf + max Speed allows you to outspeed opposing choice scarfers that can rkill you (Kart and Lando), setup sweepers (Zyg & Volc), and naturally faster Pokemon (Zam and AshGren)
Usage Tips
========

  • Serperior's main purpose is to clean late game when the opponents Grass resists have been weakened and counters have been eliminated.
  • Try to weaken opposing mons that can take Leaf Storms with the rest of your team, to increase Serperior's chances to clean late game.
  • Serperior will mostly find itself using Glare and Knock Off to support its teammates before it's ready to clean.
  • As Leaf Storm only has 8 PP, it is important to keep track of how much Leaf Storms you need to clean. Pressure users like Zapdos and Kyurem quickly drain PP, so watch out for that.
  • Glare can be used to paralyze offensive switch-ins, easing up Serperior's job, while also providing speed control for slower mons on your team that appreciate faster checks being crippled.
  • Due to it's great speed tier, it's almost always guaranteed to get a defog off if needed in a pinch. This can prove to be very helpful when one of your Pokemon is at low HP. As Serperior exerts a lot of offensive pressure, it can often get an unpunished Defog on a switch. (instead of focusing on getting Defog off in a pinch, emphasize Serp's ability to Defog vs a lot of defensive Pokemon due to the number of switches it produces)
  • If you're running Knock Off, removing Leftovers on switch-ins like Heatran or Ferrothorn or an occasional Assault Vest could be very beneficial for Serperior's chances to clean up.
  • Despite Serperior outspeeding almost everything, it can be suspectible to priority if weakened, so watch out with switching it into hazards often.

Team Options
========

  • Scarf Serperior is often found on more offensive builds, as the role compression it provides is often very useful.
  • Tapu Bulu provides Serperior with Grassy Terrain, boosting it's Leaf Storm attack even further which increases Serperior's odds of beating Pokemon like Tornadus-Therian and Zapdos. (Bulu + scarf Serp just seems awkward to fit on an offensive team + you stack Heatran & Torn weakness so remove this)
  • Slow breakers like Mega Heracross or Mega Mawile appreciate the glare support that Serperior provides, as it further helps them with punching holes and breaking through the opponents team without having to worry about getting revenge-killed by a faster check. Breaking past walls with these Pokemon also helps Serperior out in the late-game, by increasing its chances to clean.
  • Stealth Rockers like Landorus-Therian or Heatran and Spikers like Greninja provide good teammates, as their entry hazards help chipping mons down to make Leaf Storm harder to switch into.
  • Heatran is a great partner, as it beats Steel-types like Celesteela and Ferrothorn and Fire-types like certain variants of Mega Charizard X and Volcarona, which both resist Leaf Storm and can often easily stop Serperior's attempts at cleaning if at high enough HP.
Mention Ash-Greninja as a partner because offensively it can pressure Fire- and Steel-types, which Serperior appreciates a ton
Mega Zam can also help weaken opposing Steel-types like Heatran/Ferro and appreciates Serp's Knock Off utility
Zygarde can take on Steel-types like Celesteela and Heatran that pose problems for Serp & can also status things like Tangrowth for Serp

Defog can come in clutch by removing hazards in a pinch, allowing teammates at low HP to have one more go and ease up bringing in hazard-weak mons like Mega Pinsir or Volcarona more often.
You aren't using Mega Pinsir or Volcarona very often with Serperior so I'd honestly just remove that bit.

Knock Off can help with knocking items like an Assault Vest or Leftovers off, which could later help Serperior break past certain mons that would otherwise wall it, like Tangrowth and Magearna.
Specify Assault Vest from Tangrowth and Magearna. I think Celesteela and Ferrothorn are really important targets of Knock Off, so definitely mention those as specific Leftovers users and add a bit about Chansey.

HP Fire could be used as an option over either Defog, if your team doesn't need the added hazard control, or Knock Off, and helps Leaf Storm out by weakening Grass and Steel-types such as Ferrothorn, Celesteela and Mega Scizor that can take multiple Leaf Storms with relative ease.
Hidden Power Fire does absolutely nothing to Celesteela, you'd much rather use Knock Off on it. I think this should emphasize more on how it allows Serperior to revenge kill Choice Scarf Kartana.

[Usage Tips]

Try to weaken opposing mons that can take Leaf Storms with the rest of your team, as this increases Serperior's chances to clean.
I mean, Serperior is pretty good at facilitating its own sweep/clean up.

Using Knock Off to remove Leftovers on switch-ins like Heatran or Ferrothorn or an occasional Assault Vest could be very beneficial for Serperior's chances to clean up.
Add Celesteela to the Leftovers example, Mention Assault Vest from Magearna and Tangrowth specifically, and add Eviolite from Chansey.

[Team Options]

Stealth Rockers like Landorus-Therian or Heatran and Spikers like Greninja provide good teammates, as their entry hazards help chipping mons down to make Leaf Storm harder to switch into.
Specify Ash-Greninja, since it's a better teammate than Protean Greninja.

Add Magnezone.
