Moves
========

Hydro Pump is Keldeo's strongest Water-type STAB move, especially when bolstered by Choice Specs, accomplishing impressive feats such as usually OHKOing offensive Tornadus-T, Mega Mawile, and Mega Alakazam, and 2HKOing would-be switch-ins like Celesteela, Reuniclus, and Mega Sableye. However, it can prove to be a bit unreliable due to its accuracy. Secret Sword is the most reliable Fighting-type STAB move Keldeo gets, hitting a lot of Water-resistant Pokemon such as Ferrothorn, Kyurem-B, and Rotom-W hard. Also, thanks to Secret Sword targeting the foe's Defense stat, special walls such as Chansey and Gastrodon can't switch into it. Scald is Keldeo's most spammable move thanks to its decent base power, perfect accuracy, and 30% chance to burn foes, annoying any potential switch-ins such as Tapu Bulu and Mega Venusaur. Icy Wind is Keldeo's best move to hit Mega Latios and Mega Latias, as it is super effective and drops their Speed, leaving them more susceptible to being Pursuit trapped by Tyranitar. Icy Wind also OHKOes almost every Zygarde variant after Stealth Rock damage. Alternatively, Hidden Power Poison could be used instead to hit defensive variants of Tapu Bulu much harder than any other move Keldeo can go for. It also hits Tapu Fini for a solid amount of damage. However, Hidden Power Poison leaves Keldeo unable to deal any significant damage to Mega Latios and Mega Latias, usually making it the inferior choice for the last moveslot.

Set Details
========

A Timid nature in conjunction with 252 Speed EVs and 252 Special Attack EVs allows Keldeo to be as fast as possible and hit as hard as possible. Choice Specs boosts Keldeo's Special Attack by 50%, making it much more powerful and difficult to switch into at the cost of not being able to switch moves.

Usage Tips
========

Choice Specs Keldeo is a wallbreaker, so try to get it into play early-game to punch holes in the opposing team. If the opposing team has a Pokemon that walls Keldeo such as Toxapex, Mega Venusaur, or Amoonguss, it is best to use Scald in an attempt to burn it. If deemed necessary, you can actually use Keldeo as a temporary switch-in to some Pokemon such as Heatran, Ash-Greninja, and Mega Scizor thanks to its reasonable bulk and good typing. However, its bulk is only decent and this set has no recovery, so you'll want to get Keldeo into play with VoltTurn support or by making double switches most of the time. Finally, while Keldeo resists Dark, sometimes you might not want to switch Keldeo into Weavile, for example, due to it having the ability to get rid of Keldeo's item with Knock Off, which can lead to Keldeo no longer being able to break through the opposing team if they have a Pokemon that necessitates the extra power from Choice Specs, such as Gastrodon.

Team Options
========

This set tends to fit best on more offensive teams that appreciate its breaking prowess and ability to soft check numerous Pokemon, although it can also find itself on more defensively oriented balance teams. Keldeo loves Pursuit support, especially if opting not to use Icy Wind, in order to trap Mega Latios and Mega Latias. Mega Tyranitar and Weavile are great partners because of this. Regular Tyranitar can work too, but be wary that Earthquake from Mega Latios can often 2HKO it. Psychic-types such as Mega Latios, Mega Alakazam, Tapu Lele, and Reuniclus that deal with Water-resistant Poison-types such Toxapex, Amoonguss, and Mega Venusaur are great teammates for Keldeo, as these Poison-types wall Keldeo's STAB combination. Keldeo can also benefit from entry hazard support from setters such as Ferrothorn, Landorus-T, Clefable, and Greninja to chip certain Pokemon into range of Keldeo's attacks. Protean Greninja in particular is a great partner, as it can provide support by luring certain Keldeo checks such as Tapu Bulu and Tapu Fini with Gunk Shot. Volt Switch users such as Tapu Koko, Magearna, and Magnezone as well as U-turn users such as Landorus-T, Greninja, and Mega Scizor are valuable assets to Keldeo, as they provide Keldeo with more opportunities to fire off powerful attacks. Fire-types such as Heatran, Volcarona, and Mega Charizard X that can contest Grass-types that like to switch into Keldeo are also good teammates. Finally, Pokemon like Tapu Koko, Tornadus-T, Kartana, and Mega Alakazam can easily revenge kill Keldeo, so revenge killer and other checks to these Pokemon are helpful for Keldeo.

I actually gave a bunch of suggestions in dms about 2 weeks ago here's a summary:
- Mention how much stronger Hydro Pump is.
- Deslash Hidden Power Poison, Tapu Bulu just gets burnt, and Tapu Fini gets worn down super quickly.
- Give Hidden Power Electric a brief mention.
- Mention how -1/-2 Mega Lati@s are much more susceptible to getting Pursuit trapped.
- Mention how you will mostly want to be spamming Scald, as most other moves are either not punishing enough or sub-optimal to lock Keldeo into.
- Give hazards its own entry in Team Options
- Mention Pokemon that provide speed control as Keldeo itself isn't all that fast without a Choice Scarf.

QC 1/3 from me, bop.

dont mention hp elec its oo at best
hits Tapu Bulu, specifically Assault Vest
just mention “defensive bulu variants” or something cause av bulu gets worse and worse as the meta develops and id argue is almost completely overshadowed by its spd sd counterpart
If the opponent has a Pokemon that is hit super effectively by your coverage, you'll want to attempt to predict when they'll switch it in, because if you click the wrong move, you're locked into it.
this isnt wrong at all but id argue its borderline hand-holding the reader so id just cut it entirely

nicely done for your first analysis 2/3

I mean SpDef SD is a worse answer to Mega Zam and Lele but yeah missing out on SD and Synthesis sucks. Implemented, thanks a lot :]

Edit: I'll write this up in an hour or two.

Scald is Keldeo's most spammable move thanks to its decent base power, perfect accuracy and the 30% chance to burn, annoying any potential switchins.
Mention examples. Tapu Bulu and Kyurem-B for instance.
Alternatively, Hidden Power Poison could be used instead in last slot to hit defensive variants of Tapu Bulu much harder than any other move Keldeo can go for. It also hits Fini for a solid amount of damage.
Say that it misses out on the Eon Duo, as such it’s not as preferred, specially when you can burn Bulu and Fini is kinda rare.

[Team Options]
Make a point about Psychic-types. You really wanna pressure these Poison-types that resist Water like Thapex and Amoongus. Tapu Lele, Mega Zam, and Mega Latios are good options.

Nice work!

Implemented everything except I mentioned Mega Venusaur instead of KB as an example of Scald burns being annoying since KB gets gimped by Secret Sword anyway. Thanks for the check :]
