Moves
========

Hurricane is the primary STAB move and does a lot of damage to many of the common Pelipper switch ins in NU, 3HKOing Mantine and 2HKOing pokemon such as Musharna and Malamar. Scald is a move that you primarily use early in the game in order to soften the checks to this set, such as Lanturn and Ferroseed. Scald is also the most reliable attack on Specs Pelipper, as it can not miss. Hydro Pump does not have as much usage as the other attacks, but is needed to get the OHKO on Carracosta and Regirock.

  • hurricane is your main stab move and does a lot of damage to even some less bulky resists. probably the move you use the most, and does a decent job at breaking down a lot of balanced cores
  • Scald is what you use when youre not sure on the opponents playstyle, you can always fish for burns, and its nice to have a 100% accuraate stab move. also useful to revenge kill lix and rhydon
  • Hydro Pump is a super strong water move, and can be your main breaking move if the other team has a lot of flying resists
  • U-turn lets you grab momentum and is really useful if Lanturn is on the other team. If you see a Lanturn click uturn every time and go to a breaker. Also useful if the team is just really bulky in general, or if you come in on Scarf Sawk and you know its switching out
  • Other moves you can use are Defog or Tailwind > Hydro Pump if you dont want the breaking power
Set Details
========
  • The EVs outrun max speed adamant mawile, but also gets the jump on Jolly Rhydon so you can KO it before it rock polishes
  • Specs for MAXIMUM POWER
  • Modest because you dont really need the speed haha

Usage Tips
========

  • Hurricane Breaks those yamaplume balance cores, and still does a lot to steelix, so use hurricane a lot vs balance and hope you win
  • Scald is good when you want a burn or just want to play it safe
  • U-turn is really handy vs teams that have Lanturn or other bulky electrics, getting in a breaker like Sawk is nifty
  • This Pelipper is way less bulky than the tank set, but it can still pivot into Sawk and Hariyama, beware of Knock Off cause it costs you a lot of power. But you still 2HKO Yama with Hurricane w/o specs

Team Options
========

  • Works really well with powerful Wallbreakers like Sawk or Fast Golurk, that can take advantage of Electric types
  • Ironically, this Pelipper appreciates Hazard removal, so Spinmonchan or Claydol can work well with it. But on most teams I dont reccomend stacking Chan and Sawk, or Claydol + Golurk. So mix and match!
  • Seeing as this set breaks down balanced cores pretty well, pairing it with a cleaner such as LO or SD Sceptile, or Speed Boost Combusken also works really well
  • if youre really cool you can run this on rain for never miss hurricanes and extra powerful hydro pumps, use Liepard and Ludicolo with it :)

maybe mention Air Slash, HP Grass, or HP Electric somewhere in here, depending on team preferences.

I'd say mention specific mons Peli can U-turn out into to beat stuff it can't touch, such as Lanturn and Mantine. Stuff like Electric- and Grass-types.
this is actually very comprehensive and well made. QC Approved 2/3 good job raseri
