Posted this in discord and waiting for Yeti confirmation. But

19. While hammer is in effect, based on the total number of votes, hammer will not be called until 2/3 of the living players have voted, unless the voted party wishes to cede their life, and all adventure temple players have completed their quests.

Seems to imply hammer can't happen until all adventure temples have been completed.

It does mean it’s strictly optimal for someone to wait until right before deadline to do their adventuring, so that we can get the most aliases possible on a wagon, right?

Unless only the first 2/3 of votes would get posted which is probably the case acc

UncleSam's game had a grace period after hammer where people could get their votes in just to not have their aliases exposed. I don't know if Yeti plans to do something similar though, maybe she thought the adventures would suffice for that purpose.

But once you guys hit hammer on someone you can no longer change your votes

I cbb to votecount but if you want to avoid hammer but still join the group of people voting, you can vote a random alias or simply !novote. Not like mafia would be stupid enough to try to overthrow the vote at this stage anyway.
