Welcome one and all! Today we are about to get under way with the first Staked Contest on BBP! Many new trainers having to switch gears, going from battling on the field to dressing to impress on stage!

Starting with introductions, I will be both MC and the Novice Judge for this event as I'm also trying to get used to this format myself~ Judges along side me will be the wonderful Johanna herself, say hi to the crowd

"I don't need any introductions, Darling. As the Master judge, I want to see cutthroat competition! The drama, the passion, these are what I desire to see from these Divas on the stage today! I didn't fly all the way out from Sinnoh for nothing!"

"Fortunately, I'm quite short, and the sweetest around!"

"Show those brutish rivals how a lady behaves!"

Silence takes the room as Tsukasa takes flight, illuminated by a sole projector, the light glancing off her shedding scales in colorful refractions.

"Show'em what your heart is made of!"
She spins on herself as she slowly rises, creating a swirling rainbow around her, before abruptly stopping and sending a wave of scales towards the audience, filling the room with a sweet scent of honey.
She lands on the ground and curtsies as the light goes off.​

When the topic of beauty is brought up, Arctovish is hardly the first to come to mind. This was one of the fossil Pokemon, created by joining together a head and body that didn’t match. Its eyes stare down with what looks to be almost somber resignation; its fins float strangely behind its head. By all means, a creature that should not exist.

And yet, exist it does. Through a mixture of water, ice, and everything in between, the Watcher is able to move not only quickly but gracefully. Its head and fins, being adapted to different temperatures, require precise manipulation of the environment beforehand, but with a Surf and some Powder Snow, the fossil Pokemon is able to glide and twirl much more quickly and gracefully than would otherwise have been thought possible. Its eyes, still with the same expression, are eerily still, displaying only the slightest awareness of the meticulous display a moment prior. Is this a cool veneer, or is this intricate dance wired into its every move?

As the opening gives way to the next act, the Watcher's dance shifts into a more specialized maneuver. A doll is placed into its whirlpool, which it chases after with great speed. When it surfaces next, it triumphantly carries the doll in its jaws.
