Hey guys, thanks for taking the time to look at this new team I made. I made this team on Pokémon Showdown and I have had great success, but want to know if I can improve it. The team is primarily for UU but can play up or down. If you have any suggestions please ask! Thanks and hope you like the team!
DARMANITAN Ability: Sheer Force Item: Choice Scarf
EVs: 252 Attack, 252 Speed, 4 HP. Nature: Adamant
Moves: Flare Blitz = Incredible POWER and STAB.
Rock Slide = Boosted by Sheer Force and good coverage.
Earthquake = Good Power and coverage.
U-Turn = Can Switch out if I have unfavorable match up.
Summary: Darmanitan is a complete wrecking ball. With base 140 Attack Darmanitan can OHKO almost anything. Darmanitan also has a good movepool and a great ability in Sheer Force. I put a Choice Scarf on Darmanitan, because it gives him the speed that is much needed. Since my Darmanitan is scarfed I can switch in at almost any situation and usually outspeed and OHKO. I use Darmanitan as my only scarfer and a possible lead.
GRENINJA Ability: Protean Item: Expert Belt
EVs: 252 Special Attack, 252 Speed, 4 HP. Nature: Modest
Moves: Surf = Good Power and STAB.
Dark Pulse = Good Power and STAB.
Ice Beam = Good Power and STAB.
Extrasensory = Good Power and STAB.
Summary: First off sorry for the language on the picture but I couldn't edit it because I don't own it and I just couldn't resist not having it! LOL! Well anyways Greninja is an amazing Specail Attacker and is a threat to any team. He has great speed and good Special Attack that is boosted by Protean. Protean is an amazing ability for Greninja since it boosts his moves since all moves become stab since he changes types before he uses the move. I don't know how many times I have swept with this Frog, but I know that there are more to come. Greninja is another one of my main leads.
WEAVILE Ability: Pressure Item: Life Orb
EVs: 252 Attack, 252 Speed, 4 HP. Nature: Adamant
Moves: Night Slash = Good Power, High Crit Hit Ratio, and STAB.
Ice Punch = Good Power, chance to freeze, and STAB.
Brick Break = Good Power and Coverage.
Poison Jab = Good Power and get those fairies outta here.
Summary: Yes, why not have Weavile the devastating menace on my team. Weavile is a problem to almost any team with his base 120 Attack and 125 Speed. Not to mention that he has access to Night Slash that has a high critical hit ratio. I love using Weavile, because he can just come in and OHKO anything. I love having Poison Jab on Weavile, because it takes care of most fairy types as well as bug. Weavile also gets more Attack Power from the Life Orb I put on him. I use Weavile typically as my late game sweeper.
ZOROARK Ability: Illusion Item: Focus Sash
EVs: 252 Special Attack, 252 Speed, 4 HP. Nature = Modest
Moves: Night Daze = Good Power, can lower opponet's accuracy, and STAB.
Focus Blast = Great Power and good coverage.
Flamethrower = Good Power and good coverage.
Nasty Plot = Set Up Sweep.
Summary: Zoroark is one of the best trolls in the game of pokemon. It can trick you into switching out if it is disguished as a pokemon that is good against you then nasty plot and sweep your team. Zoroark is ready to sweep almost anything after a nasty plot with his already high Special Attack, high Speed and good movepool. I put Focus Sash on Zoroark so it ensures a safe set up and that I will have at least one chance to attack something. Zoroark is especially good at setting up on walls and then killing them and sweeping. I use Zoroark for many different roles. I sometimes use him as a lead, but other times I use him as a Mid or Late game Sweeper.
AZUMARILL Ability: Huge Power Item: Leftovers or Expert Belt
EVs: 252 Attack, 252 Special Defense, 4 HP. Nature: Adamant
Moves = Power-Up Punch = Raises Attack as well as hits the opponent.
Ice Punch = Good Power and coverage.
Play Rough = Good power and coverage, STAB.
Aqua Jet = Priority, STAB, Boosted by Power-U Punch.
Summary: Don't let this Bunny fool you, under that cute face is the power of a thousand nukes. Azumarill is blessed with the ability Huge Power which makes the damage of his moves do double the damage and really put a dent on any pokemon. I have Power-Up Punch on him so I can boost my attack while attacking and not waste health like I would if I would use Belly Drum. Azumarill already has great power but if u use Power-Up Punch a few times all of his moves will have the chance to OHKO you. Aqua Jet also helps Azumarill be able to outspeed other pokemon. I run either leftovers to replenish health or Expert Belt to deal more damage on my Azumarill. I use Azumarill as a Mid game Sweeper and a Revenge Killer.
MEGA VENASAUR Ability: Thick Fat Item: Venasaurite
EVs: 252 Special Defense, 252 Defense, 4 HP. Nature: Calm
Moves: Leech Seed = Replenishes my HP while draining enemies. Stall.
Toxic = Increased damage every turn. Stall.
Synthesis = Replenish HP.
Protect = Protect myself from harmful attacks and Stall.
Summary: I LOVE MEGA VENASAUR!!! Mega Venasaur is an incredible pokemon that can wall nearly any pokemon. I realize some of you might not like that I don't have any attacks on Venasaur, but all Mega Venasaur needs is some good bulk. Ever since Gen 6 came out, Venasaur has been given the ability to wall effectively. Venasaur gets a stat increase to base 123 Defense and 120 Special Defense when it Mega Evolves which makes it a tough pokemon to kill. Venasaur also has good HP. Also, Venasaur has been blessed with the ability Thick Fat that reduces Fire and Ice type attacks to 50% of the damage Venasaur would normally take if the ability wasn't there. Not only does Venasaur have great stats and Ability, it has some great stall moves. Leech Seed is great for replenishing HP and draining opponets at the same time. Toxic helps drain the Opponents HP. Synthesis is to Replenish HP and Protect is to help stall and protect from harmful attacks. Just so you guys know, Mega Venasaur takes a STAB Shadow Ball from a max Special Attack Mega Gengar and still has more than half health. Mega Venasaur is a great WALL and is great for sealing games for me.
Well I hoped you enjoyed my UU Team. Please remember to leave comments and suggestions about the team. THANKS!
