Corviknight fills the roles of Ground-immune Pokemon and bulky Steel-type and can notably check Excadrill, Zacian-C, and other physical attackers. Compared to the extremely similar Skarmory, Corviknight loses access to Spikes, Taunt, and Whirlwind but makes up for it with its access to U-turn, Pressure, and better special bulk. This allows Corviknight to gain momentum for your team, being able to bring in Pokemon that are hard to switch in such as Dracovish and Gothitelle, and also makes it much less weak to opposing Gothitelle. Body Press is Corviknight's strongest attack and has good coverage, while Defog is used to keep entry hazards and screens away. Brave Bird is a viable option over Defog, as G-Max Wind Rage allows Corviknight to Defog even while Taunted, and it gives Corviknight the ability to check Pokemon that resist or are immune to Fighting-type attacks such as Marshadow. It should only be run when you have another method of hazard removal on your team though, such as Excadrill or Mandibuzz. Rocky Helmet, in combination with Pressure and Roost, can allow Corviknight to stall out or get significant chip damage on physical attackers.

Corviknight is one of the best checks to Excadrill in the tier, but it can only be considered as a secondary check to Zacian-C. Teammates that can help deal with Zacian-C so that Corviknight doesn't have to check it by itself are ideal; Quagsire, Necrozma-DM, and Dugtrio make good partners for this purpose. Corviknight is also excellent at entry hazard removal, so your team will be able to run items besides Heavy-Duty Boots much more easily. Hazard setters with access to Taunt, like Skarmory and Mew, are difficult for Corviknight to deal with; Pokemon that can take advantage of them, such as Volcarona, make good teammates as well. Corviknight can be setup bait for Pokemon like Kyurem-B, Dragapult, Dragon Dance Necrozma-DM, Zekrom, Volcarona, and Eternatus; Zacian-C with Defense EVs, Mandibuzz, Tyranitar, Excadrill, and Blissey are all good options to deal with these threats and form a solid defensive backbone for your team.

forgot the [SET] tag at the top

is mentioning dragapult as a brave bird target worth? I feel like thats like a last ditch play considering theres dyna + fire blast to worry about first. marshadow is an easy replacement there.

no other complaints
