[SET COMMENTS]
Corviknight's ability to compress several important defensive niches at once makes it a strong utility Pokemon on many teams. Its good matchups against common entry hazard setters in Garchomp, Landorus-T, Mega Tyranitar, and Ferrothorn, alongside Pressure to deplete the PP of their entry hazards, make it a fantastic Defogger. Brave Bird is preferred to threaten Rillaboom, Garchomp, Mega Medicham, and Landorus-T, but Body Press can be used if one's team is weak to Pokemon like Excadrill and Kartana, or if one wants to secure the Mega Tyranitar matchup while discouraging Heatran from switching in. U-turn allows Corviknight to take advantage of the Pokemon it checks by granting free switch-in opportunities to teammates, preserve momentum against Pokemon that seek to take advantage of it such as Heatran and Mega Charizard Y, and escape Magnezone on the switch. Alternatively, Bulk Up can be used over U-turn to better deal with the setup sweepers Corviknight is tasked with handling, like Gliscor and offensive Landorus-T, while also letting it act as a potent wincon. However, U-turn's utility makes Bulk Up generally inferior.

Pressure allows Corviknight to PP stall entry hazard moves of passive setters, such as Ferrothorn and Clefable lacking Calm Mind, as well as PP stall other Pokemon like Gliscor and Mega Tyranitar. 184 Defense EVs with an Impish nature allow Corviknight to not be OHKOed by +2 Continental Crush from Landorus-T, with the remaining EVs going to Special Defense to let it switch into Tapu Lele, Mega Latias, and Clefable better. Alternatively, a spread of 252 HP / 44 Def / 212 SpD with an Impish nature allows Corviknight to avoid the 2HKO from Choice Specs Tapu Lele's Hidden Power Fire while also letting it withstand +2 Garchomp's Continental Crush. If running U-turn, using 0 Speed IVs with a Relaxed nature is an option to grab as much momentum as possible against Pokemon like Clefable, although being slower than Blissey and Mega Mawile can be problematic. Leftovers prevents Corviknight from being worn down too quickly. Alternatively, Rocky Helmet can be used to punish U-turn from the likes of Mega Scizor, Landorus-T, and Mega Lopunny.

Corviknight is heavily threatened by Fire-types like Heatran and Mega Charizard Y. Therefore, bulky Water-types like Slowbro, Slowking, Gastrodon, and Toxapex can form strong defensive cores with it. Gastrodon can also deal with a major roadblock in Zapdos; Slowbro and Slowking can form a pivot core with Corviknight; and Toxapex enjoys Corviknight checking most Ground- and Psychic-types. Corviknight has a mediocre matchup against Electric-types and Pokemon with Electric-type coverage, such as Tapu Koko, Rotom-W, and Mega Mawile. Teammates that can take these threats on, such as the aforementioned Gastrodon in Tapu Koko's case and Heatran in the case of the latter two, pair well with it. Corviknight can form pivot cores with Pokemon like Landorus-T and Mega Lopunny, with both appreciating Corviknight's ability to lure in Steel-types that they can take advantage of such as Aegislash, Magnezone, and Heatran. Pokemon that appreciate Corviknight's ability to get them in unscathed, such as Mega Medicham, Mega Mawile, and Weavile, make great partners. Weavile in particular is great at strengthening the matchup against Ground-types that Corviknight cannot properly force out, such as Landorus-T, Garchomp, and Gliscor.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Iron Head is an option over Brave Bird or Body Press, allowing Corviknight to defeat Calm Mind Clefable while still hitting Mega Tyranitar and Kyurem decently hard. Iron Defense in tandem with Body Press can be used on stall teams to keep pace with Swords Dance Garchomp and Landorus-T, but this role is often better filled by Skarmory or Quagsire. Taunt can be used to shut down passive Pokemon like Toxapex, Hippowdon, and Clefable while also blocking any attempt to set up and blow past Corviknight. Unfortunately, Corviknight's other moves have much greater opportunity costs than Taunt has benefits. Shed Shell can be used to escape Magnezone, but losing Leftovers or Rocky Helmet is extremely detrimental, and having little use against teams without Magnezone makes it very matchup dependent.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Electric-type Pokemon and Coverage**: Magnezone, Tapu Koko, and Zeraora all use Corviknight as a free entry point thanks to their Flying resistance. The first in particular poses a huge threat to Corviknight, as it can trap it and remove it from the game. Similarly, Pokemon like Clefable and Mega Mawile often run Electric-type coverage that can beat down Corviknight.

**Fire-types**: Heatran and Mega Charizard Y are easily capable of breaking past Corviknight with their STAB moves. The latter in particular can repeatedly come in if Stealth Rock is not on the field thanks to Roost. However, both must be wary of switching into too many Brave Birds or Body Presses, or of Corviknight using them to pivot into a wallbreaker like Mega Medicham or Tapu Koko.

**Substitute Ground-types**: Landorus-T and Excadrill are normally walled by Corviknight, but if they decide to run Substitute, they can use it as setup fodder. As Corviknight cannot touch them without the proper move and U-turn can't break their Substitutes, they can simply set up safely behind a Substitute and break past it. It should be noted that Bulk Up and Iron Defense sets can set up alongside these Pokemon, making them non-issues.

Its good matchup against common entry hazard setters in Hippowdon, Garchomp, Landorus-T, Mega Tyranitar, and Ferrothorn, alongside Pressure, makes it a fantastic Defogger. Brave Bird is preferred for its ability to threaten Dragapult, Mega Medicham and Landorus-T, as well as its ability to push more damage on Garchomp and Rillaboom, but Body Press can be used if one’s team is weak to Pokemon like Excadrill and Kartana or wants to secure the Mega Tyranitar matchup. Body Press also discourages Magnezone and Heatran variants from switching in. U-turn allows Corviknight to take advantage of the Pokemon it checks by granting free switch-in opportunities to teammates, preserve momentum against Pokemon that seek to take advantage of it such as Heatran and Cinderace, and escape Magnezone on the switch pivot out of unfavorable situations, such as if it is unhealthy against a boosted Garchomp -this is a weird notion; a boosted Garchomp would take a weakened Corviknight out before it gets to use U-turn-. Roost keeps Corviknight in pristine condition to keep checking the aforementioned threats long-term. -fluff- Pressure allows Corviknight to PP stall entry hazards from passive hazard setters such as Hippowdon, Ferrothorn, and Clefable lacking Calm Mind, allowing it to keep hazards off of its side of the field. -fluff- 184 Defense EVs with an Impish nature allow Corviknight to not be OHKOed by +2 Continental Crush from Landorus-T, with the remaining EVs going to Special Defense to switch into Tapu Lele, Clefable, Mega Latios, and Alakazam better. Alternatively, a spread of 252 HP / 44 Def / 212 SpD with a Careful nature allows Corviknight to avoid the 3HKO 2HKO from Choice Specs Tapu Lele’s Psychic Hidden Power Fire, while still avoiding the OHKO from Garchomp's +2 Continental Crush allowing it to consistently deal with the latter. Leftovers allow Corviknight to passively recover HP, preventing it from being worn down too quickly. Alternatively, Rocky Helmet can be used to punish U-turn from the likes of Cinderace, Landorus-T, Mega Scizor, and Mega Lopunny, as well as racking up damage on miscellaneous physical attacks -you should realistically almost never switch a Corviknight into a Cinderace-.

What playstyles does it fit in? (Pokemon that appreciate Corviknight’s ability to get them in unscathed during battle, such as Weavile, Mega Medicham, or Cinderace, make great partners. Weavile in particular is great at strengthening the matchup against Ground-types handling Pokemon that Corviknight cannot properly force out manage, such as Landorus-T Zapdos, Garchomp, and Gliscor.) -its better to move the italicized part to the back of the paragraph, you'd want to focus on how to patch up Corviknight's defensive shortcomings first- Corviknight is heavily threatened by Fire-types such as Heatran, Cinderace, and Volcarona. As such, Water-types like Gastrodon, Slowbro, and Toxapex, Tapu Fini -double Defog?-, and Gastrodon -moved Gastrodon to the front in order to match up with Heatran being mentioned first- can form strong defensive cores with Corviknight, with all three appreciating the Defog support it provides -fluff-. Moreover, Gastrodon completely shuts down a great obstacle in Zapdos, Slowbro forms a great pivoting core with Corviknight, and Toxapex also enjoys Corviknight checking most Ground- and Psychic-types Ground immunity and Psychic resist. In a similar vein, Grass-types like Ferrothorn and Tangrowth can take special attackers and Water-types that Corviknight fails to do much against. -this sentence is very vague, it's not made clear why Grass-types pair well, the notion of them 'taking on special attackers and Water-types' is too much of a blanket statement to provide meaningful information; besides, I don't really see a reason to point out Grass-types as teammates, there really isn't much of a synergy between them and Corviknight- Corviknight has a mediocre matchup against Electric-types or Pokemon with Electric-type coverage such as Rotom-W, Rotom-H, Magearna, and Mega Mawile. Teammates that can take these threats on, such as the aforementioned Gastrodon in case of the former three, and Heatran in case of the latter three, pair well. Corviknight can form VoltTurn pivoting cores with Pokemon like Landorus-T -Landorus-T is a mediocre mention; U-turn is only really used on Choice Scarf variants, which largely offers redundant defensive overlap if it's run alongside Corviknight-, Rotom-Heat, and Mega Lopunny, and Cinderace with all three appreciating Corviknight’s ability to lure in Steel-types that they can take advantage of, such as Heatran, Magearna, Magnezone, and Aegislash.

You don't want to weaken Brave Bird and/or U-turn by running a Bold nature.

Corviknight’s ability to compress several important defensive niches at once makes it a strong utility Pokemon on several many teams. Saying "several teams" makes it sound like its niche is confined to very specific teams, which isn't the case. Its good matchup against common hazard setters in Hippowdon, Garchomp, Landorus-T, Mega Tyranitar and Ferrothorn, alongside Pressure, makes it a fantastic Defogger. Rillaboom is one of the main reasons to run Brave Bird; Corviknight isn't really a sufficient check otherwise. You shouldn't make it seem like hitting Rillaboom is just a side effect. Body Press also discourages Magnezone and Heatran from switching in. Magnezone doesn't mind at all. U-turn allows Corviknight to take advantage of the Pokemon it checks by granting free switch-in opportunities to teammates, preserve momentum against Pokemon that seek to take advantage of it such as Heatran and Cinderace, and escape Magnezone on the switch. I'd suggest splitting the paragraph here, as it becomes a little much to take in otherwise. Also, don't forget to mention Iron Head. Pressure allows Corviknight to PP stall entry hazards from passive setters such as Hippowdon, Ferrothorn, and Clefable lacking Calm Mind. 184 Defense EVs with an Impish nature allow Corviknight to not be OHKOed by +2 Continental Crush from Landorus-T, with the remaining EVs going to Special Defense to switch into Tapu Lele, Mega Latios, Clefable, and Alakazam better. Alternatively, a spread of 252 HP / 44 Def / 212 SpD allows Corviknight to avoid the 2HKO from Choice Specs Tapu Lele’s Hidden Power Fire, while also surviving +2 Garchomp’s Continental Crush. You should reaffirm the nature that should be run for this EV spread. Leftovers allow Corviknight to passively recover HP, preventing it from being worn down too quickly. Alternatively, Rocky Helmet can be used to punish U-turn from the likes of Mega Scizor, Landorus-T, and Mega Lopunny, as well as racking up damage on miscellaneous physical attacks.

Its good matchups against common entry hazard setters in Hippowdon, Garchomp, Landorus-T, Mega Tyranitar, and Ferrothorn, alongside Pressure, make it a fantastic Defogger. Reorder this to prioritize viable Stealth Rockers....Hippowdon shouldn't really be ahead of Lando, for example. Brave Bird is preferred for its ability to threaten Rillaboom, Dragapult, Garchomp, Mega Medicham, and Landorus-T, but Body Press can be used if one's team is weak to Pokemon like Excadrill and Kartana, or if one wants to secure the Mega Tyranitar matchup. It's not exactly easy to fit onto the main set so you have to talk about this and what you miss if you run it.

Pressure allows Corviknight to PP stall entry hazard moves of passive setters such as Ferrothorn and Clefable lacking Calm Mind. I'd say you can Mention Shed Shell but emphasize that it's pretty bad.

Garchomp can have its subs broken by both moves (its a roll with Body Press but still), so I'm not sure if its the best mention here. It should be noted that Bulk Up and Iron Defense This is the only place Iron Defense is mentioned, if you're gonna mention it here it should be mentioned somewhere else too, prolly oo. sets can set up alongside these Pokemon, making them non-issues for these Corviknight variants.

You can also mention Lando and Chomp being able to run Z-Moves to break Corv outright.

Taunt can be used to be used to shut down passive Pokemon like Toxapex, Hippowdon, and Clefable, while also shutting down any attempt to set up and blow past Corviknight. Unfortunately, Corviknight’s other moveslots have a much greater oppurtunity cost than these Taunt. Shed Shell can be used to escape Magnezone, but lacking Leftovers or Rocky Helmet either cuts Corviknight’s longevity or ability to spread passive damage, which is extremely detrimental. say how it's also very matchup dependant as it's only useful versus magnezone

Checks and Counters
===================

**Electric-types and Electric-type coverage**: Magnezone, Tapu Koko, and Zeraora are all easily capable of using Corviknight as a free entry point thanks to their Flying resistance. The former in particular poses a huge threat to Corviknight, as it can trap and remove it entirely from the game. Similarly, Pokemon like Magearna, Clefable, and Mega Mawile often run Electric-type coverage that can beat down Corviknight.

**Fire-types**: Heatran, Cinderace, and Mega Charizard Y are easily capable of breaking past Corviknight with their STAB moves. The latter in particularly can repeatedly come in if Stealth Rock is not on the field thanks to Roost. However, they all must be wary of switching into to too many Brave Birds or Body Presses, or being U-turned on into a wallbreaker like Mega Medicham or Tapu Koko.

**Substitute Ground-Types**: Landorus-T and Excadrill are all normally walled by Corviknight, but if they decide to run Substitute, they can use it as setup fodder. As Corviknight cannot touch them without the proper move, they can simply set up safely behind a Substitute and break past Corviknight. It should be noted that Bulk Up and Iron Defense sets can set up alongside these Pokemon, making them non-issues for these Corviknight variants.

Brave Bird is preferred for its ability to threaten Rillaboom, Garchomp, Mega Medicham, and Landorus-T, but Body Press can be used if one's team is weak to Pokemon like Excadrill and Kartana, or if one wants to secure the Mega Tyranitar matchup (RC) as well as while discouraging Heatran from switching in. U-turn allows Corviknight to take advantage of the Pokemon it checks by granting free switch-in opportunities to teammates, preserve momentum against Pokemon that seek to take advantage of it such as Heatran and Cinderace, and escape Magnezone on the switch in. Alternatively, Bulk Up can be used over U-turn to better deal with the setup sweepers Corviknight is tasked with handling, like Gliscor and offensive Landorus-T, while also acting letting it act as a potent wincon. However, it is generally inferior to U-turn due to the inability to bring more threatening tesmmates in or escape Magnezone. U-turn's utility makes Bulk Up generally inferior.

Pressure allows Corviknight to PP stall entry hazard moves of passive setters, (AC) such as Ferrothorn and Clefable lacking Calm Mind, as well as PP stalling other Pokemon like Gliscor and Mega Tyranitar. 184 Defense EVs with an Impish nature allow Corviknight to not be OHKOed by +2 Continental Crush from Landorus-T, with the remaining EVs going to Special Defense to let it switch into Tapu Lele, Mega Latias, Clefable, and Alakazam better. Alternatively, a spread of 252 HP / 44 Def / 212 SpD with an Impish nature allows Corviknight to avoid the 2HKO from Choice Specs Tapu Lele's Hidden Power Fire (RC) while also letting it withstand +2 Garchomp's Continental Crush.

Corviknight is heavily threatened by Fire-types like Cinderace, Heatran, and Mega Charizard Y. As such Therefore, bulky Water-types like Slowbro, Slowking, Gastrodon, and Toxapex can form strong defensive cores with Corviknight it. Gastrodon can also deal with a major roadblock in Zapdos, while Slowbro and Slowking can form a pivot core with Corviknight, and Toxapex enjoys Corviknight checking most Ground- and Psychic-types. Corviknight has a mediocre matchup against Electric-types or and Pokemon with Electric-type coverage, such as Tapu Koko, Magearna, and Mega Mawile. Teammates that can take these threats on, such as the aforementioned Gastrodon in the case of the former, and Heatran in the case of the latter two, pair well with it. Corviknight can form pivot cores with Pokemon like Cinderace and Mega Lopunny, with both appreciating Corviknight’s ability to lure in Steel-types that they can take advantage of (RC) such as Aegislash, Magnezone, Magearna, and Heatran. Pokemon that appreciate Corviknight's ability to get them in unscathed, such as Mega Medicham, the aforementioned Cinderace, Mega Mawile, and Weavile, make great partners. The latter Weavile in particular is great at strengthening the matchup against Ground-types that Corviknight cannot properly force out, such as Landorus-T, Garchomp, and Gliscor.
