[OVERVIEW]

Grass
========

Cradily is a great support option for Grass teams because of its utility options in Stealth Rock and Toxic, part-Rock typing that provides neutrality to Flying- and Fire-type attacks, and ability in Storm Drain to absorb Water-type attacks. Its part-Rock typing in conjunction with its high Special Defense and reliable recovery betters its ability to take on special attackers like Volcarona, Zapdos, and Tornadus-T. It forms a great defensive core with Amoonguss and Ferrothorn, with all covering each others' weaknesses fairly well. However, Cradily's typing leaves it susceptible to threats like Fighting-, Steel-, and Ice-types like Terrakion, Scizor, Galarian Darmanitan, and Glastrier. Its poor offensive stats give setup sweepers like Excadrill, Rillaboom, and Dragapult opportunities to set up with ease.

[SET]
name: Specially Defensive (Grass)
move 1: Rock Blast
move 2: Stealth Rock
move 3: Toxic
move 4: Recover
item: Leftovers
ability: Storm Drain
nature: Careful
evs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpD

[SET COMMENTS]
Rock Blast hits Flying-, Ice-, Bug-, and Fire-types like Zapdos, Alolan Ninetales, Araquanid, and Volcarona and helps with Pokemon that commonly set up Substitute like Galarian Moltres, Hydreigon, and Kyurem. Kyurem, in particular, can stall out other Rock-type STAB moves due to Pressure. Toxic allows Cradily to cripple potential switch-ins, bulkier Pokemon like Hippowdon, Mandibuzz, and Porygon2 that can recover off damage from Rock Blast, and setup sweepers like Hydreigon that may try using it as setup bait. Cradily can reliably stall foes with Toxic thanks to Recover. Storm Drain allows Cradily to pivot into Water-type attacks and prevents Scald burns from Pokemon like Toxapex. Maximum Special Defense and HP investment along with a Careful nature gives Cradily the best matchup against special attackers like Volcarona and Kyurem.

All of Cradily's teammates appreciate its ability to set up Stealth Rock, which allows sweepers like Rillaboom and Zarude to secure KOs mid- or late-game and hampers threatening Fire- and Flying-types. Rillaboom and Zarude can take care of Steel-types like Heatran, Ferrothorn, and Bisharp with their Fighting-type attacks, while Cradily can get rid of threats like Volcarona and Togekiss with Rock Blast. Choice Band Rillaboom can break past defensive cores that threaten Cradily such as Toxapex + Pelipper and Galarian Slowking + Slowbro. Rillaboom also sets Grassy Terrain for Cradily, giving it passive recovery, and is able to get rid of Heavy-Duty Boots from Pokemon like Zapdos and Mantine with Knock Off, resulting in Stealth Rock wearing down teams more effectively. Bulk Up Zarude can pressure defensive Pokemon like Toxapex and Blissey, which easily wall Cradily or threaten it with Toxic, and KO Psychic- and Ghost-types like Victini and Dragapult. Ferrothorn forms a defensive core with Cradily, setting Spikes and dealing with Ice- and Fairy-types like Alolan Ninetales, Cloyster, and Tapu Lele with Gyro Ball. Its part-Steel typing gives a neutrality against Bug-type attacks and allows it to pivot into Toxic. Ferrothorn also deals with physical attackers like Excadrill for Cradily, while Cradily deals with special attackers like Nidoking in return. Amoonguss absorbs Toxic Spikes that could hinder Cradily's recovery, spreads status ailments with Spore, Stun Spore, and poison from Sludge Bomb, and switches into Fighting-type attacks from Terrakion and Keldeo that could OHKO Cradily. Celebi and Whimsicott can also deal with Fighting-types that threaten Cradily with Psychic and Moonblast, respectively. Whimsicott also helps in the Dark- and Dragon-type matchups, as it can KO Pokemon like Hydreigon, Kyurem, and Dragapult with Moonblast and provides an immunity to Dragon. Rotom-C can get rid of Flying-types like Skarmory, Celesteela, and Taunt Mandibuzz with Thunderbolt, which Cradily fails to do much against, and break through defensive cores that overpower Cradily with Nasty Plot. Choice Scarf Rotom-C can also revenge kill faster Pokemon like Garchomp and Alolan Ninetales and bring Cradily safely into the field with Volt Switch.

Grass
--------
Earthquake is an option over Toxic to hit Poison- and Steel-types like Dragalge, Nidoking, Heatran, and Magnezone, but be aware of Rillaboom's Grassy Terrain being active. Heavy-Duty Boots is another effective way to keep Cradily healthy, since Grass normally doesn't run entry hazard removal.

Checks and Counters
===================

Grass
--------
**Poison-types**: Poison-types like Galarian Weezing and Toxapex are immune to Toxic and aren't bothered by Cradily's Rock Blast. They can also hinder its recovery with Will-O-Wisp or Toxic.

**Status**: Cradily should be cautious of status, particularly Toxic and burns, because the former limits it as a reliable defensive switch-in and the latter halves the damage of Rock Blast.

**Steel-types**: Steel-types such as Celesteela, Excadrill, and Aegislash can easily take Rock Blast repeatedly, are immune to Toxic, and can KO Cradily with their Steel-type attacks. Setup sweepers like Bisharp and Scizor can additionally set up. However, Earthquake can deal with Pokemon like Heatran and Magnezone.

**Wallbreakers**: Physical wallbreakers like Choice Band Zeraora and Choice Band Rillaboom can OHKO Cradily with their STAB attacks or super effective coverage moves, while special wallbreakers like Choice Specs Hydreigon can heavily dent Cradily.

[OVERVIEW]

Grass
========

- Cradily is a great support option for Grass teams because of its utility options in Stealth Rock and Toxic and ability to survive special attacks [from what Pokemon?] thanks to its high Special Defense.
- Its Rock typing in conjunction with its high Special Defense notably betters its ability to take on special attacks from Fire- and Flying-types like Volcarona, Volcanion, Tornadus-T [torn-t seems like a more relevant example], and Zapdos.
- Recover allows it to setup Stealth Rock and spread Toxic multiple times throughout the match. [This doesn't need its own point. Instead, I would combine it with the last bullet and say that its part-Rock typing, access to reliable recovery, and good bulk allows it to take on fire- and flying-types like x, y, and z.]
- Cradily's Grass/Rock typing, unfortunately, leaves it susceptible to threats like Fighting-, Steel-, and Ice-types like Terrakion, Scizor, Galarian Darmanitan, and Glastrier.
- Its poor offensive stats gives setup sweepers like Excadrill, Rillaboom, and Dragapult opportunities to setup with ease.

[SET COMMENTS]
* Rock Blast hits Ice-, Bug-, and Fire-types like Alolan Ninetales, Araquanid, Volcarona, and Volcanion, and it's preferred over its other Rock STABs because it helps with Pokemon that commonly uses Substitute like Hydreigon, Kyurem, Salazzle Moltres [better example], and Blacephaleon Blacephalon.
* Stealth Rock gives Cradily another utility option as it allows it to act as an entry hazard setter. [fluff, unneeded info]
* It also breaks Focus Sashes and Sturdy, which is great for sweepers like Rillaboom and Zarude to secure KOs mid- or late-game.

* Toxic allows Cradily to cripple Pokemon that may try switching in and bulkier Pokemon like Hippowdon, Mandibuzz, and Latias that can recover off damage from Rock Blast.
* Recover allows Cradily to Toxic-stall foes and it's necessary to heal off damage from threats to Grass teams like Galarian Moltres, Kyurem, and Nidoking.
* Add a sentence about what Leftovers is useful for
* Maximum Special Defense and HP investment gives Cradily the best matchup against special attackers like Volcarona and Kyurem.

P2:
* All of Cradily's teammates appreciate its ability to set up Stealth Rock and check threatening Fire- and Flying-types. Rillaboom and Zarude can take care of Steel-types like Heatran, Ferrothorn, and Bisharp with their Fighting-type attacks, while Cradily can get rid of threats like Volcarona and Togekiss with Rock Blast. [Add Bulk Up Zarude as a teammate to deal w/ defensive Pokemon that Cradily struggles against like Slowbro, Toxapex, and Gastrodon]
* Rillaboom also sets Grassy Terrain for Cradily, giving it longevity throughout the match, and gets rid of Heavy-Duty Boots from Pokemon like Zapdos and Mantine, resulting in Stealth Rock being more effective.

* Rotom-C can help with Flying-types like Skarmory and Mandibuzz with Thunderbolt and break through defensive cores with Nasty Plot. [Mention Choice Scarf Rotom-C as a reliable revenge killer that can also provide Defog support]

**Fighting-types**: Fighting-types like Galarian Zapdos, Bewear, and Terrakion can all KO Cradily with their Fighting-type attacks.

**Ice-types** Ice-types like Galarian Darmanitan, Glastrier, and Weavile are all able to threaten Cradily with their respective Ice-type attacks. Most Ice-types fear switching into Cradily however because they risk being hit by Rock Blast or Toxic.

**Poison-types**: Poison-types like Toxapex and Galarian Weezing are immune to Toxic and they aren't bothered by Cradily's Rock Blast. They can hinder its recovery with Will-O-Wisp, Toxic, and Scald burns respectively. [this isn't respectively, since toxapex doesn't run will-o-wisp and galarian weezing doesn't run toxic or scald. change them around]

**Status**: Cradily should be cautious of status, particularly poison and burn because a poison puts it on a timer over a consecutive amount of turns, and burn halves the damage of Rock Blast.

**Steel-types**: Steel-types such as Celesteela, Excadrill, and Aegislash can easily survive Rock Blast repeatedly, are immune to Toxic, and can KO Cradily with their Steel-type attacks. Setup sweepers like Bisharp and Scizor also get opportunities to set up along with not being damaged substantially. Pokemon like Heatran and Magnezone are extremely vulnerable to Ground-type attacks, but Cradily can OHKO them if it's running Earthquake.

**Wallbreakers**: Zeraora, both Urshifu formes, and Glastrier [you already mentioned Glastrier in the Ice-types section, replace it with another example of a wallbreaker like choice specs hydreigon] can all OHKO Cradily with Close Combat and Icicle Crash respectively.

-> While it is a viable set, Substitute Blacephalon is not common and, in my opinion, should not be taken into account while building and should not be part of an analysis
-> Substitute the word "cripple" for somthing else
[OTHER OPTIONS]
-> Mention how unlike Rock Blast, Earthquake cannot break though some substitute users such as Kyurem
[CHECKS AND COUNTERS]
-> Toxapex cannot burn Cradily, as Storm Drain prevents it from being burned via Scald.
-> Just a nitpick so ignore this one if you want, but I'd add Keldeo as a Check instead of Bewear, as it is more common on Fighting.
-> Due to the prevalence of Toxic, replace "poison" with "badly poison"

Other then that I really like it, good job

Blacephalon, specifically Choiced locked sets struggles with Steel's common Protect spam in Pokemon like Heatran, Aegislash, and Celesteela. The 4 examples I used are the standard sub users (rock blast hits)
-> Mention how unlike Rock Blast, Earthquake cannot break though some substitute users such as Kyurem
Well I mentioned EQ over Toxic so it'd still have a way to touch sub users
-> Just a nitpick so ignore this one if you want, but I'd add Keldeo as a Check instead of Bewear, as it is more common on Fighting.
I can add keldeo but bewear is fine on Normal teams and it doesn't specifically say Fighting-type Pokemon from Fighting teams

I'll add the rest tho

**Fighting-types**: Fighting-types like Bewear, Galarian Zapdos, Keldeo, and Terrakion can all KO Cradily with their Fighting-type attacks. Furthermore, they also take reduced damage from Rock Blast.

Cradily is a great support option for Grass teams because of its utility options in Stealth Rock and Toxic, Rock typing which provides neutrality to Flying- and Fire- type attacks, and Storm Drain to absorb Water-type attacks. Its It is able to survive special attacks from Pokemon like Latios and Alolan Raichu thanks to its high Special Defense. Its part-Rock typing in conjunction with its high Special Defense and access to reliable recovery, betters its ability to take on special attacks from Fire- and Flying-types like Volcarona, Zapdos, and Tornadus-T. You have mentioned these neutralities before in this paragraph. I would suggest combining the points about them into one, either here or above. It forms a great defensive core with Amoonguss and Ferrothorn, covering each others' weaknesses fairly well. Cradily's typing, unfortunately, leaves it susceptible to threats like Fighting-, Steel-, and Ice-types like Terrakion, Scizor, Galarian Darmanitan, and Glastrier. Its poor offensive stats gives setup sweepers like Excadrill, Rillaboom, and Dragapult opportunities to set (add space) up with ease.

Rock Blast hits Flying-, Ice-, Bug-, and Fire-types like Zapdos, Alolan Ninetales, Araquanid, and Volcarona, and it's preferred over its other Rock-type STABs because it helps with Pokemon that commonly uses Substitute like Galarian Moltres, Hydreigon, and Kyurem. Kyurem, (AC) in particular, (AC) could otherwise stall out Cradily's Rock STAB due to pressure Pressure. Toxic allows Cradily to badly poison Pokemon that may try switching in, (AC) and bulkier Pokemon like Hippowdon, Mandibuzz, and Porygon2 that can recover off damage from Rock Blast, (AC) and setup (remove space) sweepers like Hydreigon that may try using it as setup bait. Recover gives Cradily reliable recovery and longevity and allows Cradily to Toxic-stall (RH) foes reliably. Leftovers allows Cradily to regain some HP each turn. Storm Drain allows Cradily to pivot into Water-type attacks, (AC) and it prevents it from being statused by Scald burns from Pokemon like Toxapex. Maximum Special Defense and HP investment along with a Careful Nature nature gives Cradily the best matchup against special attackers like Volcarona and Kyurem.

All of Cradily's teammates appreciate its ability to set up Stealth Rock to allow sweepers like Rillaboom and Zarude to secure KOs mid- or late-game and check threatening Fire- and Flying-types. Rillaboom also sets Grassy Terrain for Cradily, giving it passive recovery, and is able to get rid of Heavy-Duty Boots from Pokemon like Zapdos and Mantine with Knock Off, resulting in Stealth Rock being wearing down teams more effectively. Bulk Up Zarude can pressure defensive Pokemon like Toxapex and Blissey which easily wall Cradily or threaten it with Toxic, (AC) and KO Psychic- and Ghost-types like Victini and Dragapult. Ferrothorn forms a defensive core with Cradily, sets Spikes, and deals with Ice- and Fairy-types like Alolan Ninetales, Cloyster, and Tapu Lele with Gyro Ball. Its Steel typing gives a neutrality against Bug-type attacks and it allows it to pivot into Toxic. Ferrothorn also deals with physical attackers like Excadrill for Cradily, (AC) while Cradily in return deals with special attackers like Nidoking. Amoonguss absorbs Toxic Spikes that could hinder Cradily's recovery, (AC) and spreads status ailments with Spore, Stun Spore, and poison from Sludge Bomb, and switches into Fighting-type attacks from Terrakion and Keldeo that could OHKO Cradily. Celebi and Whimsicott can also deal with Fighting-types that threaten Cradily with Psychic and Moonblast respectively. Whimsicott also helps in the Dark- and Dragon-type matchup, (AC) as it can KO Pokemon like Hydreigon, Urshifu-S, Kyurem, and Dragapult with Moonblast and provides an immunity against Dragon-type attacks. Rotom-C can get rid of Flying-types like Skarmory, Celesteela, and Taunt Mandibuzz against which Cradily fails to do much against, (RC) with Thunderbolt, and break (add space) through defensive cores that overpower Cradily, (RC) with Nasty Plot. **Bug-types**: Bug-types like Buzzwole, Scizor, and Heracross can KO Cradily with their Bug-type attacks. However, Bug-types like Volcarona, Araquanid, and Galvantula risk being hit by Rock Blast from Cradily.

**Fighting-types**: Fighting-types like Bewear, Galarian Zapdos, Keldeo, and Terrakion can all KO Cradily with their Fighting-type attacks. (remove space) Furthermore, they also take reduced damage from Rock Blast.

**Ice-types**: (add colon) Ice-types like Galarian Darmanitan, Glastrier, and Weavile are all able to threaten Cradily with their respective Ice-type attacks. Most Ice-types fear switching into Cradily, (AC) however, (AC) because they risk being hit by Rock Blast or Toxic.

**Poison-types**: Poison-types like Galarian Weezing and Toxapex are immune to Toxic and they aren't bothered by Cradily's Rock Blast. They can hinder its recovery with Will-O-Wisp and Toxic.

**Status**: Cradily should be cautious of status, particularly Toxic and burn burns, (AC) because the former puts it on a timer over a consecutive amount of turns and hinders its ability to function as a reliable defensive switch-in (AH), and the latter halves the damage of Rock Blast.

Pokemon like Heatran and Magnezone can be dealt with if it's Cradily is running Earthquake.

**Wallbreakers**: Physical wallbreakers like Choice Band Zeraora and Choice Band Rillaboom can OHKO Cradily with their STAB or super effective coverage moves, (AC) while special wallbreakers like Choice Specs Hydreigon can heavily dent Cradily.
