Cresselia's outstanding bulk, access to a recovery move, and great ability make it a fantastic sweeper capable of checking threats like Bewear and Flygon. One of its greatest assets is its Speed, which allows it to outspeed Pokemon like Pangoro and Tyrantrum that could otherwise easily overwhelm it. While Substitute allows Cresselia to avoid status from the likes of Bronzong and Gastrodon, Psyshock gives it a better matchup against opposing Calm Mind users and allows it to overwhelm Pokemon like Vileplume and Talonflame more easily. Pokemon like Salazzle and Choice Band Guzzlord can pressure Steel-types for Cresselia, with the latter appreciating Cresselia switching into Bewear. Spikes setters like Golisopod help Cresselia further weaken down walls and allow it to always OHKO Pangoro after a layer of Spikes. Lastly, if Cresselia isn't running Substitute, it appreciates teammates like Dragalge, Vileplume, and Heal Bell Sylveon, as it can get overwhelmed by Toxic damage.

Cresselia's outstanding bulk, decent typing, (mono psychic isn't worth mentioning with limited resistances and vulnerabilities to a ton of offensive / utilitarian countermeasures for cres; its ability is okay enough to be mentioned but not its typing) access to a recovery move, and great ability make it a fantastic sweeper capable of checking threats like Bewear and Flygon. One of its greatest assets is its Speed; it allows it to outspeed Pokemon like Pangoro and Tyrantrum that could otherwise easily overwhelm it and threaten them (fluff). While Substitute allows Cresselia to avoid status from the likes of Bronzong and Gastrodon, Psyshock gives Cresselia a better matchup against opposing Calm Mind users and gives it a way of beating Pokemon like Vileplume and Talonflame (sub with enough CMs should break these two regardless, unless its like Taunt BB roost Talon which beats Cress with or without Psyshock. Reword this last point to say that Psyshock is more immediately threatening to some targets that resist Moonblast like Vile and Talon). Pokemon like Salazzle and Choice Band Guzzlord can pressure Steel-types for Cresselia, with the latter appreciating Cresselia switching into Bewear. Spikes setters like Golisopod make for good partners; they help Cresselia further weaken down walls and allow it to always OHKO Pangoro after a layer of Spikes. Lastly, if Cresselia isn't running Substitute, it appreciates teammates like Dragalge, Vileplume, and Heal Bell support from Sylveon, as it can get overwhelmed by status. (It's true that a Cres sweep is invalidated by faster Toxic users, but switch-ins like Dragalge and Vileplume are more effective at punishing Toxic users like Arcanine and Bronzong than Sylveon is, and are good at wearing down Haze Mantine as well. Of course Heal Bell support still has its merit so it can stay.)

QC 1/1! Good stuff :)
