- Mega Crucibelle possess high powered stabs combined with a high attacking stat and a decent speed stat causing for it to become a potent attacker.
- Due to Crucibelle's flexibility in its movesets you can easily overcome pokemon you need to, like Ferrothorn with low kick or generic bulky pokemon with Coil.
- Mega Crucibelle's special bulk and typing gives it plenty of opportunities to come in and threaten pokemon out like Zapdos, Mollux or Pyroak.
- Magic Guard allows Mega Crucibelle to avoid Head Smash recoil, as well as hazard damage which is very effective when pivotting around.
- Crucibelle has great utility in Stealth Rock and U-Turn allowing it to pivot around and set stealth rocks if you so choose.
- Regular Crucibelle has a more niche set in scarf allowing you to revenge prominent threats such as Volcarona.
- Mega Crucibelle unfortunately lacks 100% accurate powerful stab moves which can be frustrating at times for the player, however this can be overcome by Coil.
- While Crucibelle's typing gives it some advantageous opportunities, it comes at a cost as it leaves you open to ground, water and psychic types which are all common and powerful typings in this metagame.
