[SET COMMENTS]

Crustle's sweeping potential with Shell Smash and the protection from Sturdy and Heavy-Duty Boots give it its place in the tier. However, its low Speed prior to boosting and somewhat poor special bulk give it little opportunity to set up, making it outclassed by other setup sweepers such as Klinklang and Cofagrigus. Earthquake is great coverage against the likes of Toxicroak and Garbodor. Knock Off allows Crustle to cripple Eviolite users like Clefairy, Piloswine, and Ferroseed, and it also allows Crustle to 2HKO Leftovers Cofagrigus at +2, while X-Scissor can be used in its place to OHKO Eldegoss at +2. Heavy-Duty Boots allows for Crustle to switch in and set up safely, but White Herb can be used to nullify the drops from Shell Smash. A combination of Solar Blade and Power Herb allows Crustle to lure in and KO Quagsire, Sandaconda, and Piloswine.

Crustle's best fit is on hyper offensive teams that have the capability to wear down its checks. Entry hazard support from Cursola and Drednaw allows Crustle to clean more easily. Sweepers such as Silvally-Dragon and Klinklang can help wear down shared checks with Crustle, such as Piloswine, Togedemaru, and Klinklang for the former and Silvally-Water and Sandaconda for the latter. Toxicroak and Indeedee-F are good wallbreakers that can support Crustle against its checks. Even after a Shell Smash boost, Quagsire still walls Crustle due to Unaware, so checks to it such as Indeedee-F and Abomasnow are helpful. Abomasnow can also set up Aurora Veil, allowing Crustle to set up more easily.

Crustle’s utility options in Shell Smash and Knock Off, as well as its great physical bulk give Crustle its place in the tier. However, its middling speed and somewhat poor special bulk gives Crustle little oppurtunity to set up, making it outclassed by other setup sweepers such as Toxicroak and Cofagrigus. Sturdy needs to be mentioned here. Stone Edge is a powerful STAB move that allows it to OHKO threats like Abomasnow and Rotom-F at +2. Earthquake is great coverage against the likes of Toxicroak and Garbodor. Knock Off allows Crustle to cripple Eviolite users like Clefairy, Piloswine, and Ferroseed. Also Cofagrigus Heavy-Duty Boots allows for Crustle to switch-in and setup safely, but White Herb can be used to nullify the drops from Shell Smash. Mention Solar Blade + Power Herb as a way to lure in and KO Sandaconda, Quagsire, and Piloswine. How can you use sturdy within the context of a HO team (eg last ditch check)

Crustle’s best fit is on offensive teams that have the capability to answer its checks. Entry hazard support from Clefairy, Ferroseed, and Galarian Stunfisk allow Crustle to clean more easily.Replace these with more offensive rockers. VoltTurn support from Rotom-S, Rotom-F, and Lanturn are appreciated by Crustle since they can bring Crustle in safely to setup. This mon is really only viable on HO; pivot support, esp from Lanturn, ain't gonna fit there. Even after a Shell Smash boost, Quagsire still walls it due to its ability Unaware. Checks to Quagsire, such as Eldegoss Goss is passive and doesn't fit on the same teams, replace with Indeedee and Abomasnow, are appreciated by Crustle, Abomasnow can also set Aurora Veil.

Crustle makes for a great suicide lead thanks to an amazing ability in Weak Armor, as well as its decent utility. Knock Off allows Crustle to cripple Eviolite users like Clefairy, Ferroseed and Drampa. Rock Blast allows Crustle to disable Substitute setup sweepers that would try to use Crustle as setup bait. Focus Sash is the preferred item for Crustle to guarantee at the most at least 2 turns for it to set up hazards. Weak Armor is the preferred ability for Crustle to punish physical attackers by raising its speed, furthering its ability as a suicide lead.

Hyper offense teams greatly benefit from the hazard support Crustle provides. Sweepers such as Silvally-Water, Silvally-Fire, and Malamar appreciate the hazards set by Crustle for them to sweep more easily. Powerful wallbreakers like Toxicroak and Indeedee-F can use Crustle’s hazards for them to function more efficiently. Cofagrigus, Cursola, and Golurk can prevent Rapid Spin thanks to their Ghost-typing, allowing Crustle’s teammates to function more efficiently.

Crustle’s utility options in Shell Smash and Knock Off, as well as its great physical bulk sweeping potential with Shell Smash and the protection from Sturdy and Heavy-Duty Boots give Crustle its place in the tier (Shell smash isn't utility, its sweeping potential, and its not exactly crustle's bulk but sturdy is what allows it to setup on a ton of attackers). However, its meddling speed and somewhat poor special bulk gives Crustle little opportunity to set up, making it outclassed by other setup sweepers such as Toxicroak Klinklang and Cofagrigus. (klinklang is a better example for a speed + phsyical attack sweeper) However, it has its niche in its ability in Sturdy that guarantees at least a turn of Crustle being able to set up Shell Smash (this is better said in the first sentence) Stone Edge is a powerful STAB move that allows it to OHKO threats like Abomasnow and Rotom-F at +2. (stab moves are fluff, and stone edge needs no explanation) Earthquake is great coverage against the likes of Toxicroak and Garbodor. Knock Off allows Crustle to cripple Eviolite users like Clefairy, Piloswine, and Ferroseed, and it also allows Crustle to 2HKO Bold Physcially Defensive Leftovers Cofagrigus at +2. (lefties is more relevant than the investment, and you have to clarify +2 as its not a 2HKO without boosting) . Heavy-Duty Boots allows for Crustle to switch-in and setup safely, but White Herb can be used to nullify the drops from Shell Smash. A combination of Solar Blade and Power Herb allows Crustle to lure in and KO Quagsire, Sandaconda, and Piloswine.

The removed examples aren't checks as they are either hit by EQ by crustle, quag isnt broken by any of the three, or in ferroseed's case, Flame Charge by SD SilvDragon makes ferro setup fodder usually) Toxicroak and Indeedee can switch into Quagsire, Togedemaru, and Galarian Stunfisk (these aren't switch ins as they don't really have the bulk to afford switching into them. They're wallbreakers, but even then croak and indeedee don't deal with Toge that well, and g-stunfisk isn't a crustle check. Try rewriting this with the purpose of these support being wallbreakers, and reference them accordingly to the checks they break for Crustle) Even after a Shell Smash boost, Quagsire still walls it due to its ability Unaware, so checks to it, such as Indeedee and Abomasnow, are appreciated by Crustle. Abomasnow is also able to set up Aurora Veil, allowing for Crustle to setup more safely. (you still haven't combined this sentence with the previous one like the last QC mentioned)
