:dunsparce::unown::ledian:
Concept: Evolution of an already existing pokemon
Description: give a weak pokemon, such as dunsparce, an evolution. a very simple concept.
Important Details:
Some mons are in DESPERATE need of more things for them. be that buffs or evolutions, anything really. so we'll give them some evolutions

Alright!
:Miltank: :Umbreon: :Forretress:
Concept: Move Abusers
Description: Make Pokemon that greatly synergize with an underutilized move, new move from slate 2 or other move with low distribution.
Important Details: If a Pokemon is made to abuse a dangerous move such as heal bell, growth or even spikes, please show restraint. Otherwise, just make something interesting! Use rezzo's list of uncommon moves on the discord if you need help deciding.

:Muk: :Gengar: :Nidoking:
Concept: Sludge bomb User
Description: Make a pokemon that is highly encouraged to utilise the move sludge bomb and other poison type moves effectively.
Important Details: The only poison types we have in OU are Nidoking and Gengar. Gengar's stats fucking hate its typing to the point it has to use coverage to deal damage since it doesn't have a stab, and nidoking rather would use its very spammable earthquake + boltbeam coverage rather of sludge bomb. It would be really interesting to see a viable sludge bomb user to spread status and annoy opposing teams.

:Sandslash: :Politoed: :ninetales:
Concept: Weather Report
Description: Make a pokemon that is able to take benefit of a weather and/or sets it up manually in an efficient way.
Important Details: Sand is about to become viable in OU with sandslash's item dropping into the meta. As such sun and the non-existent rain teams are going to take a huge hit, so it would be cool to introduce a weather abuser. Sun already has tons of good sun abusers, sand could make use of a mon that helps sandslash stay alive and well, rain could take anything that makes it viable.

:Rampardos: :lucario: :Bronzong:
Concept: VIP
Description: Make a pokemon that is the sole user of a move that was introduced in a later gen.
Important Details: We would essentially take a move that was introduced in a later gen and limit its distribution to a single mon. This opens huge amounts of unique opportunities to bring moves and create users that can be built to be balanced in the metagame. Be it introducing moves with higher BP than the moves we currently have (Stone Edge, Close Combat), or have an effect that the metagame currently doesn't have (Gravity, Imprison).

Rezzo

(EVIOLITE COMPATIBLE)
is a Pre-Contributor
Concept: new type
Description: new type on the type chart, defensively and offensively, distributed among the currently existing Pokémon
Important Details: in order to distribute new moves alongside this type, I propose that a small number of existing moves are reworked to accomodate for this.
E.g.
Rock Smash ->
Type: Machine
Base Power: 80
PP: 10/12/14/16
Accuracy: 95
Effect: 50% chance to lower the opponent's defense by 1 stage

Ideally, additional effects of the pre-existing move wouldn't change, while the base power, accuracy, and of course the type of the move would do so to allow it to be effective in battle.

Oh, how is one supposed to follow up with such a bold submission?

:articuno: :zapdos: :moltres:
Concept: New legendary
Description: In comes a new legendary pokemon, around the power level of the three birds.
Important Details: The lads in the lore department have tossed around a number ideas with me for some possible "legends" that could be added, and these seems like a great idea to add in a powerful lad early on, not at the weight of Celebi/Mew/Mewtwo and aiming to have it be a bit more "contained" as it were.

:Falinks: :empoleon: :golisopod:
Concept: "Totally Original Idea - DO NOT STEAL!"
Description: The wholesale porting of a future gen 'mon into GSC, under the pretense of it being "created" in Gen 2 (almost completely remade movelist, no ability...)
Important Details: A bit of an idea I'm not totally sold on, but one I can see great potential in is just outright grabbing something from a later gen that could fit into gen 2 comfortably--Maybe this was their true home all along?

This item has been canned due to the submission of the VIP concept, which is this concept but much better!

Concept: AgiliPasser
Description: A mon that can pass an Agility to another mon.
Important Details: Agility passing is barely heard of in Gen 2. We should change that with a mon that can do it viably.

Concept: AgiliPass Setup Sweeper
Description: A Swords Dance setup sweeper with a perfect speed tier at +2.
Important Details: Although the 999 stat glitch means you can't set up like you can in later generations, a mon with good coverage, access to Swords Dance, and a speed tier that, when multiplied by 2, outspeeds the current metagame would be a dangerous threat.

Our newest additions to the Crystal: Sevii Islands meta and lore will be an evolution to an already existing Pokémon, a Fakemon/line based on the Space World Beta (Space World), and a new Legendary Pokémon!!! These three winning concepts are game changing and will definitely foster interesting ideas for new Fakemon. I'm excited to see everyone's submissions (The slate has not officially opened yet, please wait for an official Slate 4 opening post before submitting)!

Congratulations Regic Boat for winning with Evolution of an already existing Pokémon!

Feel free to resubmit any of these ideas in future Fakemon Concept Slates.

Our next slate will be use these three winning concepts as the prompts for Fakemon. Do not post submissions until the slate is officially opened with all the details. Feel free to begin drafting ideas in our Discord!

The official slate opening post will be posted tomorrow!

The last few slates have taken a while to code as adding new additions to the Gen 2 code can be quite convoluted. With that being said, thanks to Albatross, Rezzo, and ViZar, the majority of the code is finalized and it just needs to be looked over and compiled into one pull request.

Playing the mod is a big part of subbing/getting more people involved, so it's definitely a top priority! After the first slates are fully playable, coding should be more streamlined since there will be more code to reference. Thank you for your patience everyone :)!

Based on our winners from the concept slate, we have three interesting prompts for our next round of Fakemon. This slate definitely has important prompts, for one, we will be introducing a brand new Legendary Pokémon:smogduck:. We will continue opening up future slates to community created prompts!

Feel free to send a message in the Discord if you have any questions, comments, or concerns. We also have submission resources in the Original Post if you have any trouble completing your submission. Have fun submitting everyone!

Slate Lore
*While purchasing Pokéballs in the Poké Mart, you stumble across a news article with three leading areas of research and theories surrounding new Pokémon in the Sevii Isles.*

New Pokémon Evolutions?
Long ago, a master item crafter picked up a mysterious stone and noticed it interact with his Machoke. The Machoke never evolved, but it became more powerful than any other Machoke, and even overpowered some Machamp. One day, he decided to study the stone, and named it the Avirstone. The stone constrained Pokémon from evolving, but raised their power. During his studies with the stone, it broke into two pieces. Furious with the accident, he threw one of the pieces away, this piece became known as the first reported Everstone. He tried to salvage what he could of the Avirstone, but when he conducted research on the other broken piece, it seemed to have the ability to grant a Pokémon a new evolution. It is said that he used the stone to make a Pokémon evolve, and that this new mysterious evolution still exists somewhere in the Sevii Isles...

To Spaceworld!
Ancient stories in the Sevii Islands tell of an extraordinarily wormhole that opened up in the middle of the sky. It is said that this wormhole allowed a Pokémon from an alternate universe to fall somewhere in the Sevii Islands. This mysterious Pokémon is said to have an indicator that it is from an alternate universe. The Sevii Islands Bureau of Scientific Research (SIBSR) has dubbed it the Spaceworld Phenomenon. This phenomenon has been linked to the first cases of Pokérus in history, and it is believed that the Pokérus Virus originated from bacteria from this alternate universe. If you or your Pokémon have been exposed to Pokérus, please create a contact tracing list and turn it in to the SIBS headquarters so that we may one day find this mysterious "Spaceworld" Pokémon...

New Legendary Pokémon Cited?
There have been rumors surrounding sightings of an extremely powerful Pokémon. This information is extremely recent and there aren't many confirmed details about the Pokémon. It emanates a power that can only be described as Legendary. If you encounter any non-identified Pokémon, please record your encounter and contact the Sevii Islands Bureau of Scientific Research immediately.

(Written by tkmof~11209 and JosJet.)
Create up to one submission for each of these prompts (Three submissions max):
:pinsir:1) Create a New Evolution for a Pokémon that already exists in GSC.
- Split evolutions are allowed. (This should only be done if the concept calls for it, and not just to submit extra evolutions.)

:qwilfish:2) Create a Fakemon based on a Pokémon from the Spaceworld Beta. (Click here to see the list of Spaceworld Pokémon)
- Your adaptation doesn't have to be a 1:1 replica, feel free to get creative!

:ho-oh:3) Create a new Legendary Pokémon.
- This Pokémon doesn't have to be balanced for C:SI OU, it can also be created with Uber balance in mind. If you are balancing your submissionfor Ubers, please indicate that in your post.

Concept: To Spaceworld!
PokeGoldDemo-back 234.png
PokeGoldDemo-front 234.png

Pokémon Name: ピアザー- Pierzer
Typing:
Bug
/
Ghost

Base Stats: 65 / 125 / 120 / 75 / 70 / 45 (BST 500 )
Height: 6'11"
Weight: 75 lbs
Notable Moves:
: Swarm Attack, Megahorn, Hidden Power Ghost, Submission, Double Edge, Dig
: Thief, Rest, Sleep Talk
: Protect, Swords dance
Flavor Moves: Pinsir's movepool + Night Shade, Destiny Bond, Mud Slap
Mechanical Design: After getting the idea of making a bug ghost, i came to realisation that i needed to balance it out because it was admitedly very powerful and could eaisly highly outclass other ghosts. Thats why i avoided giving it shadow ball or earthquake like horatekku does, as well as severily decreasing its speed to make it way slower than other bugs and ghosts. Pierzer is meant to to be to pinsir what scizor is to scyther: it even has the same way of distributing the stats as scizor but adding spa instead of attack. What makes pinsir be relevant is its ability to be inmune to normal/fighting moves while also resisting ground attacks. This makes it a great earthquake snorlax check, that till loses if snorlax is packing flamethrower or similar coverage. It can also attempt to make holes in the opposing team with swords dance, but is kept in check by its slow speed and relatively low speed.
Visual Design: Got the inspiration from that mask the pinsir had to make it bug ghost, which is cool since its a typing that is surprisinly really good in this generation. Name is directly inspired by the way scyther and scizor's names are very close to actual words, with its name being closed to the word piercer.
A old man invites you to its inn, where you accept dearly. He tells you to feel free to rest as much as you want in his place, and if you want, he can tell you a story of his ancestor. You accept, and the old man tells you the story of the war of two clans back before Johto had been properly civilised. Back then, the two clans, one living with scythers and one living with pinsirs, fought to no end. Their war seemed like it would last forever, but unexpectedly, the scyther clan's pokemon began to evolve into the mon now known as Scizor. The battle turned into the scyther clan's favor, pushing the pinsir clan into islands to escape. The scyther clan went to pursuit them even in the islands to end the pinsir clan, but then a miracle happened. Out of nowhere, a portal opened from the sky, and a mysterious creature emerged from it. This creature, depicted as an abstract figure with a ball for a head, managed to push back the invaders, and allowed the pinsir clan to live freely in their island. The creature then left into another portal, but it left some mysterious energy in the ashes of the enemies it vanquished. This ash caused some of the pinsir to mutate and evolve into a new pokemon. The old man now offers you a trade: "Would you like to trade my pinsir for your heracross? This pinsir holds some of the ash that was left from that battle.[yes][no]"

Evo and legend possibly incoming

Concept: To Space World!
Pokémon Name: ドリーマーニャー Revitty
Typing:
1645165958791.png
/
1645165975097.png

Base Stats: 25/40/80/135/80/120
Height: 0.2m (0'9")
Weight: 1 kg (2.2 lbs)
Notable Moves:
: Night Shade
: Dream Eater, Future Sight, Hidden Power
: Nightmare, Rest, Hypnosis, Splash
Flavor/General Moves: Attract, Bide, Curse, Disable, Double Team, Dynamic Punch, Flash, Foresight, Frustration, Meditate, Mind Reader, Protect, Psych Up, Psywave, Return, Safeguard, Sonic Boom, Snore, Substitute, Sleep Talk, Teleport
Competitive Design: Revitty is an enchanting sleep based Pokémon with a unique typing and neato movepool, entirely built around interacting with it's own resting and it's opponents resting, it's a really hard hitting Pokémon entirely bound by it's Hidden Power choice and how it'll slot it's own moves in. With Splash and Night Shade, it's able to be an effective stall user, but with it's monstrous speed and special attack, it's able to also operate as a cannon... But While it holds power, it lacks versatility, and if scoped out early, can just simply uselessly splash around as it does nothing else of value.
Visual Design: Visually it's the "Beta Baby Meowth", but I've taken it as a different spin to where it would have no back legs, and instead it's tail would be more pronounced--Instead of coins floating above it, it's rippling "ghostly" eyes to glance around it as it never opens it's own eyes. I think it's really cool and still cute as all heck.
Flavor: "This feline Pokémon is the ghost of someone's pleasant dream, it lingers in this world to bring joy to others, though it must eat good dreams to remain."

1645165757951.png

Concept: Evolution of an Already Existing Pokémon -- Quagsire
Pokémon Name: みずお Exoltol
Typing:
/

Base Stats: 100/105/95/70/70/45 (5 more hp, 20 more atk, 10 more def, 5 more spa, 5 more spd, 10 more speed for a 55 stat increase)
Height: 1m (3'5")
Weight: 131.0 kg (288.8 lbs)
Notable Moves:
: Earthquake, Hidden Power
: Surf, Ice Beam, Hidden Power
: Belly Drum, Rest, Curse, Haze, Sleep Talk, Amnesia
Worth noting is that they get no new moves at the time of this submission, the moves listed are all viable ones on Quagsire. Sludge Bomb is also "potentially" viable incase there's a rise of Exeggcutor in response to Exoltol being added... But I digress.
Competitive Design: Let's talk about this cutie for a moment: Quagsire is a fringe viable UU 'mon with some interesting tools to bring to the meta game... But genuinely cannot compete, it's stats JUST miss out on being able to hang out with the OU lads of the tier. Giving it an evo that brushes up on it's stats lets our lad properly shine and find viability in the meta-game. It's worth noting why the stats are not as high as say, Swamperts: To let Exoltol have a clear weakness and not overwhelm the metagame entirely. Due to how stats work in this gen, running HP Grass makes your defenses take a hit, so just running it due to the presence of a strong Water/Ground type influences a lot of matchups and the entire tier as a result. Also if he had too high of a SpA he could just BoltBeam the whole tier.

Make no mistake, this chonky lad is a monster, but a fun one.
Visual Design: It's Beta Wooper's design but as the evolution of Quagsire, the amount of meta humor found in this suggestion and implementation is immense but somehow fitting. Truly the best timeline.
Flavor: "After a disaster, it's not uncommon for the only thing left standing to be a Exoltol, trotting along in nonchalant manner as it searches for a good spot to sunbathe amongst the wreckage."

1645165728206.png

Concept: A New Legend!
Pokémon Name: カンジャント Kanjanto
Typing:
/

Base Stats: 90/110/115/75/80/100
Height: 1.4m (4'7")
Weight: 98 kg (216 lbs)
Notable Moves:
: Body Slam, High Jump Kick, Vital Throw, Hidden Power
: Thunder Punch, Fire Punch, Outrage, Psychic, Surf
: Curse, Roar, Scary Face, Rest, Sleep Talk, Counter, Parry, Toxic, Amnesia
Flavor/General Moves: Attract, Barrage, Comet Punch, Dizzy Punch, Double Team, Endure, False Swipe, Flail, Focus Energy, Headbutt, Hyper Beam, Mega Kick, Mega Punch, Quick Attack, Razor Wind, Sonic Boom, Substitute, Swift, Thrash, Low Kick, Mach Punch, Dynamic Punch, Jump Kick, Petal Dance, Teleport, Solar Beam, Vine Whip, Faint Attack, Protect, Twister
Competitive Design: Mechanically, there's a lot going on with Kanjanto, they're a Dragon type that hits hard and hits fast, but very noticeably lacks rock or ground type coverage outside of hidden power, with a lot of it's other tools being limited in power and being fairly esoteric so to speak. It's best STABs are a bit unreliable and unwieldy, but it's ability to apply pressure and threaten on both attacking sides is brow raising to say the least. It's flavor moves include a number of grass type attacks, and it even packs surf and psychic!
Visual Design: Despite the "fierce" looking picture(that I scribbled up in a few minutes) Kanjanto is meant to be a more elegant(if intense) fighting type that likes to surround itself with natural beauty and peace. Really consider the picture presented as a placeholder! Visual design really isn't my strong suit, but I can imagine it trying to have a nice, if loose, fighting stance.
Flavor: "It enjoys climbing to the top of the Sevii Islands, any that come to challenge it are swiftly knocked aside, though it has been seen to rush through and catch those that it fights."

Work!
Concept: Evolution of an Already Existing Pokemon
Pokémon Name: Esscargoo (evolves from Magcargo)
Typing: Fire/Rock
Base Stats: 70 / 85 / 140 / 95 / 95 / 40 [525 BST]
Height: 4'07
Weight: 333.1 lb
Notable Moves:
… Explosion, Earthquake, Rock Slide
… Fire Blast, Hidden Power Grass
… Recover, Curse, Rest, Sleep Talk, Growth
Everything Magcargo otherwise gets.
Magcargo is missing a few tools to really be viable, and this helps it out a lot. Recover is a powerful defensive tool to cover for its awful defensive typing, and Growth gives it another option to try and sweep. A huge stat boost is the icing on the cake that ensures substantially more viability.

Concept: To Space World!
Pokémon Name: Luxswan (can use Stick)
Typing: Normal/Fighting
Base Stats: 77 / 80 / 70 / 78 / 77 / 80 [462 BST]
Height: 3'11
Weight: 47 lb
Notable Moves:
… Slash, Cross Chop, Hidden Power Ghost, Vital Throw
… Hidden Powers of various types
… Swords Dance, Agility, Baton Pass, Rest, Sleep Talk
Evolves from Farfetch'd so it gets everything it normally would, other than anything not listed above.
So Farfetch'd normally sucks but Stick is a cool item, especially in Gen 2 where it gives +2 crit rate, and one of the things we collectively lament is that Farfetch'd never got this evolution. This really just improves on Farfetch'd's existing gameplan of fishing for crits, and with Slash/Cross Chop having a 50% crit rate after Stick, and a base 25% crit rate on its other moves. Cross Chop plays the same way, as a higher risk STAB that must be conserved. It can't touch Ghosts without running its own HP Ghost. Vital Throw seems weird, but on a Pokemon that absolutely loves setting up, you can use it to deny Roar/Whirlwind (since Roar will fail if it goes first).

And yes, it's called Luxswan instead of Madame because Madame has no bird or luck connections, and Farfetch'd's whole design philosophy is that it's a lucky duck. Deal with it.

Concept: New Legendary
Pokémon Name: Aquatro [aqua + quatro]
Typing: Water/Flying
Base Stats: 90 / 100 / 85 / 95 / 125 / 85 [580]
Height: 6'07
Weight: 363.7 lb
Notable Moves:
… Aeroblast, Hidden Power Ground
… Hydro Pump, Surf, Icy Wind, Ice Beam
… Curse, Rest, Sleep Talk, Toxic
Universals; Wing Attack, Water Gun, Rain Dance, Agility, Reflect, Rock Smash, Blizzard, Sunny Day, Mud Slap, Sandstorm, Swift, Detect, Steel Wing, Fly
The fourth legendary bird! Plays as a fairly strong mixed attacker with bulk to spare. Aeroblast pops a lot of holes, and the typical Flying resists don't handle taking Hydro Pump well. Icy Wind is pretty cool here too to compensate for its lower speed, and pairs well with Spikes support, making it difficult to switch into with the speed drop. As a bulky Water, it loves not having to worry about spikes itself. Lack of Earthquake and Thunder keep it from being a strictly better Gyarados.

Weight: 90 kg

Concept: Evolution of an Already Existing Pokémon -- Sandslash
Pokémon Name: サンドスパイク Sandshard
Typing:

Base Stats: 85 HP / 110 Atk / 130 Def / 45 SpA / 60 SpD / 70 Spe (10 more hp, 10 more atk, 20 more def, 5 more spd, 5 more spe for a 50 stat increase [500 BST])
Notable Moves:
Earthquake, Hidden Power (Bug), Rock Slide
Swords Dance, Substitute, Agility
(Italics = Added move)
Agility is a move Sandshrew/Sandslash learns in Gen 8.
Competitive Design: Sandshard is a mon meant to set up heavily before going on an all out offensive. It's pretty much Rock Polish / Swords Dance Rhydon in Gen 2, combined with the Atk/Def of Golem (totally not intentional). The notable difference here is that it outspeeds Aerodactyl and Jolteon after an Agility. However, it doesn't get Megahorn or Explosion, and it suffers from the same horrible specially defensive typing that Rhydon does, meaning mons like :cloyster: :exeggutor: :jynx: :starmie: :suicune: :vaporeon: will demolish it easily. That doesn't mean it won't be a lot more dangerous than Sandslash, though. Coupled with the Sandstone and it's newfound
typing, it will be able to handle airborne threads a lot more easily, even Skarmory after a Swords Dance. On the other hand, it can still get phased out by a non-majorly-chipped Skarm, it still has to take 2 turns to set up to sweep (it can just set up a Swords Dance without an Agility on ParaSpam or weakened teams, to note), and although a boosted SlideQuake is the best setup in the game, it still cannot OHKO Wak or Hera after a boost, and is severely dented by both afterwards (assuming Hera runs HP Fighting, which it might choose to in the meta shift). Shoutout to Aroofando for also being able to severely dent it with STAB Ice Beam, and Houndoom for being able to burn it thanks to Hellfire Lantern. If Sandshard sets up an Agility before a SD (which it should), it should be able to get the jump on Doom before that happens, though.
Matchups: W.I.P.
Sample sets:
Sandshard @ Sandstone
- Agility
- Swords Dance
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide

Prompt: Evolution of an Already Existing Pokemon
Pokémon Name: カゼラッタ [Kazeratta]
Typing: Dark
Base Stats: 75 / 71 / 60 / 112 / 70 / 102
Height: 0.9m
Weight: 23.2kg
Competitively Notable Moves:
Super Fang, Counter
Crunch, Ice Beam, Thunder, Pursuit, Thief
Screech, Roar
Everything else within Raticate's movepool, + Scary Face and Crunch
Honestly I just want to see a good Dark type make it into OU, so I've gone for a pure Dark type that's offensive, as it is unique for gen 2. Picked Raticate as a candidate for an evolution since it has a good toolkit (boltbeam, Pursuit, fast), and pumped up its special attack to a better level to complement.

Defensively it may leave a little to be desired, sadly. But we can think about that later down the line as with these offensive stats it can hopefully do some fun things.
Dex Entry: ラッタ [Raticate] living in the city depths where there is minimal sunlight will become カゼラッタ [Kazeratta] if they reach 100 days without seeing daylight.
(feel free to use Alolan Raticate's sprite as a placeholder for this if it wins its category)

Prompt: New Legendary
Pokémon Name: テリクス [Terricks]
Typing: Rock / Flying
Base Stats: 90 / 125 / 160 / 90 / 50 / 65
Height: 3.8m
Weight: 140.4kg
Competitively Notable Moves:
Rock Slide, Earthquake, Double Edge, Body Slam, Hidden Power [Flying], Wing Attack, Magnitude
Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Icy Wind
Curse, Rest, Sleep Talk, Toxic, Reflect, Substitute, Haze, Whirlwind
Agility, Ancientpower, Barrier, Black Hole, Dig, Double Team, Fissure, Flame Wheel, Flash, Fly, Focus Energy, Frustration + Return, Gust, Harden, Hyper Beam, Light Screen, Mud Slap, Protect, Rain Dance, Razor Wind, Reflect, Rock Smash, Rock Throw, Safeguard, Sandstorm, Screech, Sky Attack, Sonicboom, Sunny Day, Tackle, Take Down, Teleport, Twister
A defensive offensive option for handling all Phys Lax variants and most physical attackers in general. The Spike immunity might enable you to be braver with your Curse attempts. The idea here is that Rock Flying typing allows this Mon to out-curse Snorlax, Machamp, Skarmory and Steelix while also being fundamentally weak to nearly all special attacks and being out-cursed by Rhydon, Golem and Tyranitar. It also has 4mss in that it must choose between Flying type coverage, Earthquake and Rock Slide on a Curse Rest set to be effective.

Think Aerodactyl, except it can wall stuff rather than check stuff, and also has the option to setup rather than hit & run.
Dex Entry:
Its wingspan is so large that テリクス [Terricks] circling high in the sky can be mistaken for a solar eclipse.

Prompt: Spaceworld
Pokémon Name: アニモン [Animon]
Typing: Steel
Base Stats: 72 / 72 / 48 / 72 / 48 / 72
Height: 0.5m
Weight: 6.0kg
Competitively Notable Moves:
None
None
Transform, Sketch*
[*event only, can only be learned once]
None
This is an atempt to make a competitively viable Transform user. Overall, I can see it being no more than a fun gimmick, but I think this foundation is one that can be worked upon to see how we could stretch it get such an idea working in the Sevii Islands metagame. Seeing as Animon is the same species line as Ditto, this Pokémon can hold the Metal Powder item to boost its defenses. Sketch is only permitted once in Animon's moveset, allowing it a total of 2 moves; Transform + one other.

Sketch moves I can see being useful are: Recover, Sacred Fire, Rest, Heal Bell, Spikes, Rapid Spin, Spore, Charm, Mean Look, Substitute, Toxic (sadly Explosion and Sleep Talk can't be sketched in gen 2)
Dex Entry:
ANIMON's body is so shiny that in good weather conditions, one can see a mirror-like reflection of themselves from any angle.

Edit 28/02: Adjusted Terricks' base stats and added Kazeratta's height and weight Dex entry values.
