Moves
========

Curse allows Alolan Muk to act as a bulky setup sweeper. Knock Off is Alolan Muk's main attack and grants it the ability to remove a foe's item such as Kyurem-B's Life Orb. Pursuit allows Alolan Muk to trap Pokemon that are looking to switch out, namely Psychic- and Ghost-type Pokemon such as Blacephalon and Latios, which can threaten the team otherwise. Poison Jab is an option over Pursuit that allows Alolan Muk to hit Fairy- and Dark-type Pokemon such as Tapu Bulu and Mandibuzz. Recycle allows Alolan Muk to reuse its Iapapa Berry after it has been eaten.

Set Details
========

248 HP and 12 Defense EVs allow Alolan Muk to tank Choice Scarf Victini's V-create after Stealth Rock damage. The remaining EVs go into Special Defense to maximize Alolan Muk's special bulk, allowing it to tank hits such as Latios's Draco Meteor. Gluttony allows it to consume Iapapa Berry earlier, giving Alolan Muk access to a reliable form of recovery.

Usage Tips
========

Since Alolan Muk depends on its Iapapa Berry and Recycle to keep its HP high, it should avoid getting its Iapapa Berry removed by moves such as Trick and Knock Off. Additionally, Alolan Muk should Recycle its Iapapa Berry as often as it can to keep its health as high as possible for later in the game. Alolan Muk should also avoid burns, as it depends on its Attack stat to successfully do damage. Use Knock Off to remove foes' items such as Chansey's Eviolite and Victini's Choice Scarf. Also, switch Alolan Muk into predicted Psychic-type attacks such as Latios's Psychic and proceed to trap the foe with Pursuit; do the same to take on Ghost-types such as Gengar and Blacephalon and weakened threats such as Protean Greninja after it has changed types.

Team Options
========

Alolan Muk benefits the whole team by providing a key immunity to Psychic-type attacks and the ability to Pursuit trap Psychic-type threats. Crobat is immune to Ground and creates a solid defensive core with Alolan Muk. Additionally, Crobat can act as the team's Defogger, prevent walls from recovering damage with Taunt, and take on threats such as Mega Gallade and Kommo-o with Brave Bird. Mega Venusaur provides a neutrality to Ground-type attacks for Alolan Muk. Additionally, it can take on Water- and Ground-type Pokemon with Giga Drain and provide Alolan Muk with Leech Seed recovery. Toxapex provides the team with Toxic Spikes, which wears down the opposing team and allows Alolan Muk to muscle past its checks with more ease. Additionally, it can fish for burns with Scald, allowing Alolan Muk to set up more easily against physical attackers. Toxapex can also switch into weak attacks and easily brush them off thanks to Recover and Regenerator. Nidoking provides the team with an Electric immunity and has amazing coverage moves such as Flamethrower, allowing it to hit Pokemon such as Mega Scizor and Ferrothorn, and Thunderbolt and Ice Beam, which allow it to hit all Pokemon for neutral damage. Choice Scarf Nihilego is a faster Stealth Rock setter that can act as the team's revenge killer, since it can outspeed threats such as +1 Mega Charizard X and Garchomp. Salazzle has the unique ability of being able to poison Poison- and Steel-type Pokemon such as Toxapex and Heatran. Additionally, it can also take on Steel- and Grass-type Pokemon such as Ferrothorn with Flamethrower. Scolipede and Gengar are less viable options on Poison teams, but they do match up well against Psychic-type teams, which Poison otherwise struggles with, freeing up Alolan Muk to use Poison Jab over Pursuit.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options

Poison
--------
Poison Fang can be used over Poison Jab to allow Alolan Muk to inflict bad poison and break down its checks with more ease; however, the difference in power is noticeable.

Checks and Counters

Poison

**Trick and Knock Off users**: Alolan Muk depends on its Iapapa Berry to stay healthy through the match. After it loses its Berry from a move such as Trick or Knock Off, it becomes easy to wear down.

write a note on removing the line about no reliable recovery in overview for whoever uploads it to cms it out or edit it to reflect that its only true for the assault vest set.

* Curse allows Alolan Muk to increase its Attack and Defense by one stage. This lets it act as a bulky setup sweeper.
* Knock Off is Alolan Muk's main attack and grants it the ability to remove a foe's item such as Kyurem-B's Life Orb.

* Recycle allows Alolan Muk to reuse its Iapapa Berry after it has been eaten.

Set Details
========

* 248 HP and 12 Defense EVs allow it to tank Choice Scarf Victini's V-Create after Stealth Rock chip.
* The rest is dumped into Special Defense to maximize Alolan Muk's special bulk. name a few special attackers it can switch into with the special bulk perhaps
* Gluttony allows it to consume Iapapa Berry earlier, giving Alolan Muk access to reliable form of recovery.

Usage Tips
========

* Since Alolan Muk depends on its Iapapa Berry to restore its HP, however if its Iapapa Berry is removed, it can no longer bring it back with Recycle. rephrase this and talk about being aware of trick / knock off users that try to render its berry useless
* This also means it should replenish its health as much as it can, so Alolan Muk should Recycle its Iapapa Berry as often as it can to keep its health up for later in the game.
* Alongside this Alolan Muk should avoid burns, as it depends on its attack stat to successfully do damage.
* Alolan Muk should use Knock Off to its advantage to remove foes items such as Chansey's Eviolite and Victini's Choice Scarf.
* Alolan Muk should switch into predicted Psychic-type attacks such as Latios's Psychic and then proceed to trap it with Pursuit. It should also use this to take on Ghost-types such as Gengar and Blacephalon or weakened threats such as Protean Greninja after its changed types.
* this is optional but you could say something about avoiding physical attackers before it is set up because its physical bulk isnt too great

Team Options
========

* Alolan Muk benefits the whole team by providing it a key immunity to Psychic-type attacks. talk about pursuit trapping too
* Crobat provides Alolan Muk with a Ground-type immunity forming the teams immunity core. talk about the ground immunity directly supporting alolan mukAdditionally it acts at the teams Defogger, rephrase this to something like "it can Defog away hazards for Alolan Muk"can prevent walls from recovering off damage with Taunt, and take on threats such as Mega Gallade and Kommo-o with Brave Bird.
* Mega Venusaur provides a neutrality to Ground-type attacks for Alolan Muk. Additionally it can take on Water- and Ground-type Pokemon with Giga Drain and provide it with passive Leech Seed recovery.
* Toxapex provides the team with Toxic Spikes, slowly wearing down the foe allowing Alolan Muk to muscle past its checks with more ease. Additionally it can fish for burns with Scald, allowing Alolan Muk to setup easier against physical attackers. It can also switch into weak attacks and easily brush them off thanks to Recover and Regenerator.
* Nidoking and Nihilego are Poison teams Stealth Rock setters. Nidoking provides the team with an Electric immunity and has amazing coverage such as Flamethrower allowing it to hit Pokemon such as Mega Scizor and Ferrothorn, additionally other coverage such as Thunderbolt and Ice Beam allow it to hit all Pokemon for neutral damage. Nihilego is a faster Stealth Rock setter that acts as the teams revenge killer, since its uses Choice Scarf it can outspeed threats such as +1 Mega Charizard X and non-Choice Scarfed Greninja. run another pokemon as an example over greninja, like lando t or garchomp maybe? alolan muk can beat all greninja sets that arent z dig.
* Salazzle has the unique ability of being able to Toxic poison Poison- and Steel-type Pokemon as well as being able to take on Steel- and Grass-type Pokemon such as Ferrothorn with Flamethrower. name some pokemon, like toxapex is a huge example of something salazzle can wear down for alolan muk
* Scolipede and Gengar are less viable options on Poison teams, however they provide a good matchup against Psychic-type teams, which Poison otherwise struggles with, freeing up Alolan Muk to use Poison Jab over Pursuit.

i would also write something in the checks and counters about knock off / trick users that can fuck up alolan muk really bad by knocking / tricking away its berry.

Other Options:
-Poison Fang over Pursuit/Poison Jab on Curse sets can be nice for threatening physically defensive walls such as Mega Sableye by badly poisoning them; it's incredibly high poison chance also is better than its AV variants.

Checks and Counters:
-Mega Steelix should definitely be included as an example in Physically Defensive Walls.

Sorry, I don't really have much to say here, even if this has been sitting here for so long rip.

Alolan Muk should use Knock Off to its advantage to remove foes' (apostrophe) items such as Chansey's Eviolite and Victini's Choice Scarf. (Your addition of "to its advantage" seems to imply that Chansey and Victini are particularly troublesome. If that's the case, then I'd suggest making this specific in some way. Furthermore, should they be hit on the switch, or should they be hit after they come in?) Alolan Muk should switch into predicted Psychic-type attacks such as Latios's Psychic and then proceed to trap it the foe with Pursuit. It should also use do this to take on Ghost-types such as Gengar and Blacephalon or and weakened threats such as Protean Greninja after its it has changed types.

Crobat provides is immune to Ground and creates a solid defensive core with Alolan Muk with a Ground-type immunity forming the teams immunity core. ("Immunity core" sounds a bit awkward, but it does seem important that Crobat and Alolan Muk combine to be immune to Ghost and Psychic, which are super effective against Poison. How would you like to specify that without it getting too wordy? I'll leave the phrasing to you.) Additionally, (AC) Crobat can act as it acts at the team'(apostrophe)s Defogger, can prevent walls from recovering off damage with Taunt, and take on threats such as Mega Gallade and Kommo-o with Brave Bird. Mega Venusaur provides a neutrality to Ground-type attacks for Alolan Muk. Additionally, (AC) it can take on Water- and Ground-type Pokemon with Giga Drain and provide it Alolan Muk with passive Leech Seed recovery. Toxapex provides the team with Toxic Spikes, which wears slowly wearing down the foe allowing opposing team and allows Alolan Muk to muscle past its checks with more ease. It Toxapex can also switch into weak attacks and easily brush them off thanks to Recover and Regenerator. Nidoking and Nihilego are Poison teams'(apostrophe) typical Stealth Rock setters. (Why do they help Alolan Muk in particular?) Nidoking provides the team with an Electric immunity and has amazing coverage moves such as Flamethrower, (AC) allowing it to hit Pokemon such as Mega Scizor and Ferrothorn, additionally other coverage such as well as Thunderbolt and Ice Beam, which allow it to hit all Pokemon for neutral damage. Choice Scarf Nihilego is a faster Stealth Rock setter that acts can act (subjective change) as the teams' (apostrophe) revenge killer, since its uses Choice Scarf it can outspeed threats such as +1 Mega Charizard X and Garchomp.
