McKrow: Welcome everyone! How are you all feeling tonight? RU Ready for an entertaining Gym Battle?
Burd: Gosh McKrow, a night battle is way different from a day battle. I mean the glaring stadium lights, the dark skies and the inability to see the cheering crowd is a bit difficult for me to adjust atleast. What about you?
McKrow: Ha Ha... I actually like the dark. It is fun in the stands, at night and under the lights, when you don't have to care about who is looking at you; while you watch the ongoing battle under bright lights. Its like you miss none of the battle's fun and still get to keep some privacy.
Burd: I don't know, I haven't felt that way in the stands. Besides why would you need privacy in a pokemon stadium?
McKrow: Lol, you are still a kid Burd... you need to grow up. Anyways, as for the battle; it will be an interesting one between a new Gym Leader and a seasoned trainer who is interested in qualifying for the STEEL Gym as well.
Burd: Hmm, so its like a new Leader versus a future Leader.
McKrow: Well the STEEL qualifiers are a long way from completion but AOPSUser is definitely one of the favorites for taking the Gym Leader Title there. And as far as this battle is concerned I am a bit divided IMO.
Burd: The challenger must be confident in his skill as he has brought three fighting types and a Dragon, while not trying to diversify his team with Bug and Fairy pokemon.
McKrow: Dark Gym needs to be punched right through,
I have heard this somewhere haven't I?
Burd: {smiles} But I am sure Leader Geodude hasn't brought Honchkrow and Mandibuzz tonight just for fun, has he?
McKrow: Yeah, I think we would get to see; Greninja, Colossoil, Honchkrow and Mandibuzz tonight. I especially would like to see Honchkrow.
Burd: Yeah I figured as much {smiles} Well it is about time and The Gym Leader is finally here, so we should be able to start the proceedings in a short while.

Type: Dark
Complexity: Moderate

Description: TBD
- Due to their innate sneakiness, all Dark-type Pokémon are now immune to the effects of full trapping moves and the abilities Arena Trap, Magnet Pull, and Shadow Tag. Dark-type Pokemon can also now switch out while affected by a partial trapping move (ex. Whirlpool) but will still be damaged by their effect. This ability only affects Pokemon that are naturally Dark-type and is retained even if the Pokemon changes type.
- The battle takes place at night. Moonlight always heals its maximum HP value, even if the sky is obscured.
- Skill Swap is now blocked by Substitute.
- The ability Rivalry has no effect, but cannot be Skill Swapped.
- Pokemon may not be forcibly switched out; they may only be switched out by their trainer.
- The Base Attack Power of Psychic, Ghost, and Poison-type moves is increased by 2.
- The Gym leader may bring Gyarados, but Gyarados is always Mega Evolved and and must hold the Gyaradosite.
Codifications:
- Camouflage changes the user to a Ghost-type. Secret Power has a 30% chance to confuse. Nature Power becomes Ominous Wind.

Nature: Naive (+15% Spe, +23% Acc, -1 SpD)
Type:
Abilities:
Torrent: (Passive) When this Pokemon's HP is lower than 33%, the Base Attack Power of any water attack is increased by two (2). (eg Water Pulse goes from 6 to 8, Hydro Pump from 12 to 14)
Protean: (Toggle) When Active, this Pokemon switches their type before striking with each damaging attack to match the attack they are about to use, and keep that type until another damaging move is used. The energy cost for the attack is calculated based on their type before using the move. When Inactive, the Pokemon reverts back to their natural typing. Pokemon that also have Color Change ability may select whether to keep their current type or the damaging attack's type each action.

Type:
Abilities:
Big Pecks: (Passive) This Pokemon's sturdy wings prevent its defense from being lowered. The rate its natural defense drops after a boost is also halved from one every round to once every two (2) rounds.
Overcoat: (Passive) This Pokemon has a sturdy exterior that rebuffs the elements, making it immune to damage inflicted by bad weather. The Pokemon is also immune to "Powder" moves. (Full List: Cotton Spore, Poison Powder, Powder, Rage Powder, Sleep Powder, Spore, Stun Spore.) If the Pokemon is already immune to at least one (1) kind of weather, or powder attacks by typing or a different ability, Overcoat reduces the Base Attack Power of all oncoming attacks by one (1).
Weak Armor: (Toggle) No default effect. When toggled, the Pokemon loosens its worn defensive armor so that it will break off when an opponent uses a contact attack, reducing the Pokemon's Defense and increasing their Speed by one (1) stage for each hit.

"The crowd tonight are different from the usual fans and folks that we see in the ASB Arena everyday.
The fans today are more inclined towards trickery and deceit,
there are even some mysterious gangs present in the Gym,
I just hope that we get to see a normal Gym Battle without any interference from the crowd.
"Mandibuzz for Tomohawk, Colossoil for Lucario, Greninja for Infernape; there seems to be three good match-ups for the Gym Leader today. But the format will play a crucial role in tonight's battle." says a Pokemon Researcher.
