[SET COMMENTS]
Arceus-Dark with Whirlpool and Perish Song is a reliable wallbreaker in AG, capable of removing most passive Pokemon while still providing reasonable defensive utility. Perish Song allows Arceus-Dark to put opposing Pokemon on a timer, forcing them to switch out within 3 turns in order to avoid fainting. It can be especially useful to deter setup attempts by Pokemon like Xerneas, Zygarde-C, Primal Groudon, and Kyogre, which would otherwise use Arceus-Dark as setup fodder and force it out or remove it. Whirlpool allows Arceus-Dark to prevent most opposing Pokemon from switching out, allowing it to freely remove them with Perish Song. Whirlpool can notably trap opposing support Arceus formes, with the exception of Arceus-Fairy, and other common defensive Pokemon like defensive Eternatus, Chansey, Ferrothorn, and Tyranitar lacking Roar. Importantly, Whirlpool allows Arceus-Dark to remove opposing Calm Mind Arceus-Dark, which can be a significant threat to unprepared teams. Recover gives Arceus-Dark a reliable source of recovery, allowing it to repeatedly come in throughout the game in order to trap more Pokemon, as well as healing off potential passive damage from trapped Pokemon, such as Toxic damage from Chansey or Leech Seed damage from Ferrothorn. Judgment gives Arceus-Dark a reliable STAB move, allowing it to pick off slower weakened threats and remove Necrozma-DM as well as Giratina, while also threatening Calyrex-S. Additionally, Arceus-Dark can use Judgment while Dynamaxed in order to break opposing Ho-Oh that switched into a Whirlpool and might otherwise attempt to use Whirlwind to force out Arceus-Dark and escape Whirlpool. The given EVs maximize Arceus-Dark's special bulk in order to better take hits from Yveltal and Calyrex-S while outspeeding Hasty Primal Groudon, Timid Kyogre and max speed neutral-natured Yveltal.

Arceus-Dark fits best on balance and bulky offense teams that appreciate its ability to singlehandedly shut down opposing Calm Mind Arceus-Dark while also obliterating many common balance cores and protecting its team against Calyrex-S. Many offensive Pokemon greatly appreciate Arceus-Dark's ability to defeat most of the defensive metagame while still providing defensive utility, making it a great enabler for offensive cores. Notable offensive Pokemon that appreciate Arceus-Dark's support include Mega Mewtwo Y, Calyrex-S, Mega Rayquaza, Kyogre, and Groudon-Primal. Arceus-Dark is, however, extremely weak to Zacian-C and Xerneas, so reliable checks to those, such as Necrozma-DM and Chansey, respectively, are greatly appreciated. In addition, Zacian-C can be a good teammate, because Arceus-Dark can effectively pressure its most common check in Necrozma-DM. Arceus-Dark also fits well on teams that are capable of handling Yveltal, but would appreciate the ability to deal with it better, such as those that would otherwise rely on Ho-Oh to pivot into Yveltal. Other teammates that appreciate Arceus-Dark's support include offensive Kyogre, notably Calm Mind + Life Orb and Choice Scarf sets, because Arceus-Dark can heavily pressure if not outright remove their most common checks, in Primal Groudon, Chansey, and Ferrothorn. Reliable Calyrex-S checks such as Tyranitar or Yveltal should also be used alongside Arceus-Dark since it will likely be overstretched trying to check Calyrex-S while also tearing holes in the opponent’s team. Notably, Toxic users such as Ho-Oh and Necrozma-DM can severely hamper Arceus-Dark’s utility by restricting its ability to stay in after trapping opposing Pokemon.

[SET COMMENTS]
Calm Mind Arceus-Dark is a dominant offensive presence in National Dex AG, capable of using numerous common defensive Pokemon as setup fodder, and being extraordinarily difficult to stop once it has set up. Calm Mind enables Arceus-Dark to boost its firepower and special bulk, drastically increasing the difficulty to remove it after even one boost. Additionally, the Special Defense boosts from Calm Mind can enable Arceus-Dark to stop Yveltal from breaking it. Judgment gives Arceus-Dark a reliable STAB, which it can click against a majority of the metagame. Notably, even Pokemon that resist Judgment will likely fall to it after enough boosts, so Pokemon like Arceus-Fairy are not reliable checks, since after one boost, Arceus-Dark can use it as setup bait. Recover gives Arceus-Dark the longevity to use Pokemon like Ferrothorn or Support Arceus formes as setup fodder, since they can constantly deal damage that it must heal off. Refresh is vital to allow Arceus-Dark to not be crippled by status, notably allowing it to safely set up on Pokemon that would use Toxic or Thunder Wave, such as Necrozma-DM and various support Arceus formes. The given EVs with a Bold Nature maximize bulk in order to get as many setup turns as possible against opposing support Arceus formes, and allows it to stomach hits from offensive threats such as Mega Rayquaza and Primal Groudon more easily while outspeeding max speed positive nature Kyogre and Primal Groudon.

Arceus-Dark fits well on all manner of balance and bulky offense teams, where it excels cleaning teams late-game once its checks are gone. Arceus-Dark is especially weak to offensive Fairy-types, such as Xerneas and Zacian-C, so Necrozma-DM is a good teammate. Arceus-Dark is also vulnerable to Ho-Oh, which can phaze it with Whirlwind repeatedly throughout the match in order to prevent it from setting up. Caution must also be taken around opposing Perish Song + Whirlpool Arceus-Dark, which can effectively trap and remove Calm Mind Arceus-Dark. As a result, Perish Song + Whirlpool Arceus formes of one's own, especially Arceus-Water, make good teammates, since trading Perish Song Arceus Formes with an opponent while one has a Calm Mind Arceus-Dark opens the door for Arceus-Dark to potentially sweep the opposing team while potentially threatening Ho-Oh. Calyrex-S can pair nicely with Arceus-Dark as well, thanks to its ability to lure and potentially remove opposing Arceus-Dark while also threatening Ho-Oh and Zacian-C, while Arceus-Dark can help Imposter-proof Calyrex-S. Zacian-C makes a great teammate for Arceus-Dark, since Arceus-Dark heavily threatens Necrozma-DM, while Zacian-C pressures Ho-Oh in return.

Arceus-Dark mention the set ie. whirlpool is a reliable wallbreaker in AG, capable of removing most passive Pokemon with ease while still providing reasonable defensive utility. I wouldn't really say "with ease", given how susceptible to toxic it is, paralysis to an extent as well Perish Song allows Arceus-Dark to put opposing Pokemon on a timer, forcing them to switch out within 3 turns in order to avoid fainting. It can be especially useful to deter setup attempts by Pokemon like Xerneas, Zygarde-C, Primal Groudon, and Kyogre, which would otherwise use Arceus-Dark as setup fodder and force it out or remove it. Whirlpool can notably trap opposing support Arceus formes, with the exception of Arceus-Fairy, and other common defensive Pokemon like Ferrothorn, Chansey, Tyranitar lacking Roar, and defensive Eternatus. reorder in terms of viability ig, even though the vr is outdated... Judgment gives Arceus-Dark a reliable STAB move, allowing it to pick off slower weakened threats and remove Necrozma-DM as well as Giratina, while also threatening Calyrex-S. optional, but can maybe mention how giratina would otherwise be able to escape whirlpool Additionally, Arceus-Dark can use Judgment while Dynamaxed in order to break opposing Ho-Oh that switched into a Whirlpool and might otherwise attempt to use Whirlwind to force out Arceus-Dark and escape Whirlpool. The given EVs maximize Arceus-Dark's special bulk in order to better take hits from Yveltal and Calyrex-S while outspeeding Hasty Primal Groudon, and Timid Kyogre and max speed neutral-natured Yveltal.

Calm Mind enables Arceus-Dark to boost its firepower and special bulk, drastically increasing the difficulty to remove it after even one boost. Additionally, the Special Defense boosts from Calm Mind can enable Arceus-Dark to stop Yveltal from breaking it. Judgment gives Arceus-Dark an offensive option, so that it can break or severely chip opposing Pokemon that would otherwise threaten to phaze or KO it, such as Ho-Oh or Zygarde-C, while also allowing it to threaten Calyrex-S. just say main attack, reliable STAB Notably, even Pokemon that resist Judgment will likely fall to it after enough boosts, so Pokemon like Arceus-Fairy are not reliable checks, since after one boost, Arceus-Dark can just boost through it use it as setup bait. Darkceus Arceus-Dark fits well on all manner of balance and bulky offense teams, where it excels at ripping holes in teams repeatedly throughout the game this description makes it seem like a breaker, imo it's more of a wincon/sweeper. Caution must also be taken around opposing Perish Song + Whirlpool Arceus-Dark, which can effectively trap and remove Calm Mind Arceus-Dark. would say around here that calyrex-s is a v nice teammate as it can lure whirlpool darkceus (and ho-oh to an extent) as well as provide an offensive zacian check, while darkceus provides ghost resist/check to opposing caly in return As a result, Perish Song + Whirlpool Arceus formes of one's own, especially Arceus-Water, make good teammates, since trading Perish Song Arceus Formes with an opponent while one has a Calm Mind Arceus-Dark opens the door for Arceus-Dark to sweep the opposing team. can also potentially remove ho-oh if dynamax is still intact Zacian-C makes a great teammate for Arceus-Dark, since Arceus-Dark heavily threatens Necrozma-DM, while Zacian-C pressures Ho-Oh in return.
