[SET COMMENTS]
Galarian Darmanitan has the highest Attack stat in the tier after accounting for Gorilla Tactics and takes no additional penalty from wearing a Choice Scarf. Using a Choice Scarf allows it to serve as a frighteningly fast pivot and wallbreaker at the same time, a trait largely unique to Galarian Darmanitan.

Icicle Crash is Galarian Darmanitan's preferred STAB move, and it can heavily damage typical physical checks such as Ferrothorn. Ice Punch can also be used to guarantee a hit, but this comes at a slightly reduced Base Power. Flare Blitz allows Galarian Darmanitan to always KO all Ferrothorn variants, some variants even after Dynamax, and KO Corviknight far more consistently than any other move options. Due to the heavy meta relevancy of these two, it is highly recommended to use Flare Blitz, but it could be forgone for Earthquake or Superpower if it makes more sense for your team composition. Earthquake gives Galarian Darmanitan the ability to beat Aegislash, Toxapex, Arcanine, and several others that don't mind taking other hits. If Earthquake is not needed, Superpower can be used guarantee an OHKO on most Tyranitar variants and hit Rotom-W and Rotom-H neutrally while also giving boosted Attack when using Max Knuckle. U-turn allows Galarian Darmanitan to scout foes while still doing heavy damage. It can also be used to break Focus Sash and Disguise while safely bringing in checks. Stone Edge is an option to beat a few other Pokemon Galarian Darmanitan may lose to, such as Rotom-H and Charizard, but it is otherwise an inferior option due to its rather shaky accuracy.

An Adamant nature with full Attack and Speed investment is used to outspeed positive Speed natured Dragapult, while Jolly is important to tie other Galarian Darmanitan and also outspeed some other threats based on team need. While Galarian Darmanitan is incredibly powerful, many Pokemon can take on some neutral hits of some of Galarian Darmanitan's moves or can boost Defense to avoid being threatened by its super effective coverage, such as Galarian Corsola, Ferrothorn, and Corviknight. Also, while Galarian Darmanitan can use Dynamax to get out of Choice lock to better attack specific Pokemon, it will lose its bonus Attack gained from Gorilla Tactics as well as the Speed boost from Choice Scarf, so only use it in absolutely critical situations, such as a last Pokemon scenario. As a result of this weakness to break certain walls, Pokemon that can threaten these walls and maintain momentum, such as Rotom-H, special Life Orb Dragapult, and Chandelure serve as good partners to mitigate Choice Scarf Galarian Darmanitan's inability to break certain walls that can take advantage of Galarian Darmanitan's Choice lock.

[SET COMMENTS]
Galarian Darmanitan has the highest Attack stat in the tier after accounting for Gorilla Tactics, and it takes no additional penalty from wearing a Choice Band. Using a Choice Band allows it to defeat almost every physical wall without needing to rely on traditional boosting options, which renders normal physical checks, such as Quagsire and Galarian Corsola, vulnerable. Icicle Crash is the STAB move of choice, and it can be freely used in more situations than with the Choice Scarf set, since it is nearly impossible to switch into. Ice Punch is a serviceable alternative, as it has 100% accuracy and has the ability to KO most Pokemon that Icicle Crash can, making it less risky of a move choice in some scenarios. Flare Blitz with a Choice Band boost is capable of always beating unboosted Corviknight and Ferrothorn, the latter of which cannot survive even after Dynamax. Earthquake allows Galarian Darmanitan to cleanly beat Toxapex and Arcanine, which are able to switch in to its other moves. Lastly, U-turn does heavy damage while also allowing Galarian Darmanitan to maintain momentum against the opponent. Superpower is a great alternative to either of the last move options, beating Rotom-W and Rotom-H leads, which are often baited out, as they lead decently well against the more traditional Choice Scarf Galarian Darmanitan lead.

A Jolly nature is often chosen to outspeed Jolly Excadrill; however, an Adamant nature is perfectly acceptable if you want to maximize power. Choice Band Galarian Darmanitan can be brought in to punish slower teams that rely on the premier defensive walls such as Galarian Corsola, Ferrothorn, Toxapex, and Corviknight. None of these potent walls are able to switch into the right coverage. While Choice Band remains the less used of the two sets behind Choice Scarf, it still has great viability, particularly with having paralysis support from Pokemon such Grimmsnarl, Rotom-C, and Type: Null, or with other forms of speed control, such as Tailwind support from Whimsicott. Alternative Choice Scarf users, to fill the hole that forgoing the item on Galarian Darmanitan creates, such as Dragapult, Hydreigon, and Rotom-H are other good teammate options.

I do think that Icicle Crash, Flare Blitz, Superpower/Earthquake, uturn is probably the most standard set. You always want to have that pressure on Ferrothorn/Corviknight and I think thats probably more important than hitting Toxapex and Arcanine.

You bring up a good point. My thought process was that Ferro and Corviknight cannot switch in safely without expending their dynamax, and they are both easy enough to revenge kill after the fact. However, without Earthquake, Pex and Arcanine can safely pivot in without worry. I do agree that Ferro and Corvi are more relevant meta threats, so if others feel the same I do not mind altering the slashes!

I also think Flare Blitz should be a primary slash. Ferrothorn and Corviknight are super relevant threats. Earthquake hitting Toxapex / Arcanine is nice, so is Superpower but its less relevant than Ferrothorn and Corviknight to go for 2 of them and leave out Flare Blitz. QC 1/2

Okay swapped it, Flare Blitz is the primary 2nd slot move and EQ is first slash Superpower is secondary slash.

I'm feeling sick as all hell (screw you bronchistist), but that doesnt mean I cant check stuff!

- You sorta imply it, but I think its important to note that Dynamax erases Gorilla Tactic's effects on Darm, so you're using it to surprise with changing moves rather than an actual power increase.

- I'd mention that Jolly outspeeds Adamant Mimikyu and Modest Hydreigon while Dynamaxed / without a scarf, which is neat!

-For CB, I think mentioning paraysis support / speed control isnt a bad idea, especially since you already mention webs. Grimmsnarl is the premier spreader of paralysis, but Rotoms and Sandaconda can work too.

-I'd make the slashes the same as CB as Scarf. Reason for this, is because a lot of the bulkier teams that CB Darm tries to prey on are using Iron Defense Corviknight. Believe it or not, that thing gets so chunky that there are situations where you'll need to lock yourself into Flare Blitz to prevent it from setting up Iron Defense and winning (+2 Corviknight actually takes like 55% from CB Flare Blitz, so if you switch darm in trying to beat it, another Iron Defense or Body Press and it wins shockingly enough lol).

-For Scarf, I'd mention some teammates to break through bulkier teams that try to take advantage of it being choice locked, stuff like the mentioned Iron Defense Corviknight in particular being a problem. Special Attackers like the Rotom family are great at pressuring Corviknight, and Dragapult works well too.

I sometimes see Stone Edge on this mon, so it can beat Rotom Heat, Gyarados and Charizard, don't know how common it is though.

this is not a gp check. this is a series of grammar and prose based notes with which you can improve this and all other analyses written by you. Please check the smogon grammar standards thread and fully absorb all relevant information in it while going over your analyses again over the next few weeks. this analysis is going back to qc. in its current state many points are outdated, the Choice Band analysis is extremely bare-bones, and a GP member would have to essentially rewrite it entirely. This decision was made alongside Theorymon

Because of Gorilla Tactics, Galarian Darmanitan (don't refer to Galarian Darmanitan as just Darmanitan) has the highest Attack stat in the tier after accounting for Gorilla Tactics, (RC) and takes no penalty from wearing a Choice Scarf as a result of its ability. (remove doublespace after period)Using a Choice Scarf allows Darmanitan (don't refer to Galarian Darmanitan as just Darmanitan) to serve as a frightening pivot and wallbreaker at the same time.
(add linebreak)
Icicle Crash is
its (new paragraph=cannot use "it" to refer to galarm. Start fresh.) STAB Coverage, (STAB coverage is a bit misleading. It's Galarm's primary STAB attack, not a coverage move.) and even though Ice as an attacking type is far less valuable in this new generation due to the departure of Landorus-T and Salamence, (no referencing generational changes in analyses) Darmanitan can safely click this and deal upwards of 30-40% on normal checks such as Ferrothorn. (they're not really good checks then are they. also, don't say "click". mons don't click. just say "use")(remove doublespace)Combined with a flinch chance and the ability to threaten Dynamax to get out of Choice Lock, supposed switch-ins to Darmanitan (don't refer to Galarian Darmanitan as just Darmanitan) are generally not safe in many situations. (this is really just hyping up icicle crash a lot/fearmongering, which is more or less filler in an analysis, and the line on dynamax would be better served for after the moves are discussed) (remove doublespace)However, do consider that you will lose bonuses Attack gained from the Gorilla Tactics ability as well as your speed (don't refer to Pokemon as "you"; "you" may only refer to the player. This contains unnecessary wording in "the Gorilla Tactics ability" where "Gorilla Tactics" would work just fine. Always capitalize stats, such as Speed.) boost from Choice Scarf, so only use it in absolutely critical situations, such as a last Pokemon scenario.

Flare Blitz allows you to always kill (no killing unless using the term "revenge kill". just use KO or its variants.) all Ferrothorn variants, some variants even after Dynamax, and kill (no killing unless using the term "revenge kill". just use KO or its variants.) Corviknight far more consistently than any other move options. (remove doublespace)Due to the heavy meta relevancy of these two, it is highly recommended to use Flare Blitz, but it could be forgone for Earthquake/Superpower if it makes more sense for your team composition.
Earthquake is the particularly useful coverage for the third slot, giving Darmanitan(don't refer to Galarian Darmanitan as just Darmanitan) the ability to beat Aegislash, Toxapex, Arcanine, and several others that don't mind taking the other hits. (remove doublespace)If Earthquake is not needed, Superpower can be used guarantee an OHKO on most Tyranitar variants, and is in general a good offensive type to have (this is not helpful information), rounding out your (don't refer to Pokemon as "you") type coverage.
The last slot, U-turn, allows you (don't refer to Pokemon as "you") to scout opponents (opponents means opposing players. to refer to opposing Pokemon, use "foes") while still doing massive chip ("massive chip" is too informal and actually pretty contradictory because "chip" refers to small amounts of damage generally.). (remove doublespace)It can also be used to break Focus Sash and Disguise while safely bringing in checks.
Stone Edge is an option to beat a few Pokemon growing in popularity (particularly not timeproof wording), such as Rotom-Heat (Rotom-H, not Rotom-Heat. Generally the way to go for any hyphenated Pokemon forme name.) and Charizard, but is otherwise an inferior option due to its rather shaky accuracy. (each move should not be its own separate paragraph)
Adamant with full Attack and Speed (one must specify in these situations - full Attack and Speed what? IVs? EVs? Not clear to the reader. "An Adamant nature with maximum Attack and Speed investment" is the optimal phrasing here.)
is used to outspeed positive Speed natured Dragapult, but Jolly is an option to outspeed some other threats also based on team need, such as Scarf Modest Hydreigon or +1 Modest Charizard.

While incredibly powerful, many Pokemon can take on some neutral hits of its coverage moves or can boost to avoid being threatened by its Super Effective (don't capitalize super effective) coverage after boosting, such as Corsola, Ferrothorn and Corviknight. (remove triplespace??)As a result, Pokemon who (don't refer to Pokemon as "who") can threaten these walls and maintain momentum, such as the Rotom Formes (not an acceptable blanket term. To refer to all appliance-based Rotom formes aside from the normal Rotom itself, use Rotom-A), Special (do not capitalize "physical" or "special" unless directly mentioning the exact phrase "Special Attack" to refer to the stat) Life Orb Dragapult, or (this list is referring to the plural term "Pokemon", and therefore it must use "and" instead of "or") Chandelure serve as good partners to mitigate Choice Scarf Darmanitan's (don't refer to Galarian Darmanitan as just Darmanitan) weakness to hard walls ("hard walls"? As in, the ones mentioned above, or what?).

[SET COMMENTS]
The attacking options for Choice Band Darmanitan(don't refer to Galarian Darmanitan as just Darmanitan) are largely the same as the Choice Scarf variant, while giving Darmanitan(don't refer to Galarian Darmanitan as just Darmanitan) unprecedented wallbreaking ability. Icicle Crash is still the STAB move of choice, Flare Blitz to always beat unboosted Corviknight and Ferrothorn, U-turn for scouting whilst (that's british english not american english) chipping, and Earthquake to beat Toxapex. (the flare blitz, u-turn, and earthquake lines are not complete clauses. they are not valid grammatically. they lack verbs.) (remove doublespace)Superpower is a main slash in this set for its ability to OHKO Rotom-W and Rotom-H, excluding fully physically defensive versions. (remove doublespace)Jolly Nature (do not capitalize "nature") is often chosen to outspeed Adamant Mimikyu as well the entirety of the unboosted metagame (this is false. this statement implies that all non-grounded Pokemon not affected by Sticky Web are slower than Jolly Galarian Darmanitan, which is not correct.) after Sticky Webs (this is not the name of the move), however, an Adamant Nature (do not capitalize "nature") is perfectly acceptable if you want to maximize power.

While a more niche set, Choice Band can be brought in to punish slower teams that rely on the premier defensive walls such as Corsola, Ferrothorn, Toxapex, and Corviknight. (remove doublespace)None of these potent walls are able to switch into the right coverage. (remove doublespace)While Choice Band remains the lesser of the two sets behind Choice Scarf, it still has great viability, particularly with having Paralysis (don't capitalize status conditions) support from Grimmsnarl or Sandaconda, with (this entire comma-separated list lacks proper parallelism. The list reads: "particularly with having paralysis support from Grimmsnarl or Sandaconda", "particularly with having with Tailwind support from Whimsicott", "particularly with having in a Sticky Web offense", and "particularly with having in general as a balance breaker against less offensively oriented teams". Please keep in mind that all elements in a list must match in their general structure, especially with respect to what precedes and proceeds the list.) Tailwind support from Whimsicott, in a Sticky Webs (this is not the name of the move) offense, or in general as a "Balance Breaker" (not a real term and not a proper noun) against less offensively oriented teams.(Each individual set in an analysis is meant to be able to be read separately from the others. This set's analysis contains barely any information of its own and piggybacks off the Choice Scarf set completely and repeatedly. One should not need to read the Choice Scarf analysis to understand the details of why one would want to use and how one would use Choice Band.)

So basically while me and a cake wearing a hat were looking over this and discussing it, here's some updates I think this analysis needs (note this isnt about the grammar, just content):

Choice Scarf

-I think Jolly needs to be the main nature on Scarf, Galarian Darmanitan is common and dangerous enough that speedties can make or break games.

-I don't really see Modest Hydiregon at all anymore, I probably wouldnt bring it up.

Choice Band

-I think you should probably get rid of the sticky web mentions, they aren't too relevant at the moment.

-You talk about this in terms of teammates, but I think you should make a major focus on how CB Galarian Darmanitan wants speed control support in general to avoid getting easily revenge killed. Grimmsnarl, Sandaconda, and Whimsicott are good mentions, but I'd also mention Rotom formes and Type: Null as good paralysis spreaders. Personally, I'd probably replace the Sandaconda mention with Type: Null since as cool as Sandaconda is, it isn't particularly relevant for most teams.

-I think U-turn actually needs to be the main slash in over Superpower, since the scouting potential also helps get around people taking advantage of Darm almost always being choiced.

Done. Since it wasn't a GP, I didn't implement it as closely as I would a GP, but I made sure to correct the various recurring mistakes. I also apologize for this being out of date, its been a very long time since I wrote this. Theorymon to let him know this has been done. Hope you like it!

more things to do in all of your other analyses:
don't use Rotom-A as liberally. It refers to ALL of the appliance-based Rotom formes at once, and I'm sure not all of them run Thunder Wave or are good Choice item users. Particularly not Fan and Frost, which i'm almost certain aren't viable in the tier. Feel free to list the three viable ones as separate Pokemon and don't group them if you don't want to refer to ALL of the appliance rotoms at once.

For Rotom formes, Please use "Rotom-H", "Rotom-W", and "Rotom-C", with C being mow. Don't spell out the names fully. That's not how they are in the standards.

no "click".

Capitalize official proper nouns like Base Power, Special Defense, Taunt, et cetera. Do not capitalize weathers (sun, rain, sand, hail) or status conditions (paralysis, poison, burn)

Please use the official GP implementation method at spo.ink/gpvideo

Galarian Darmanitan has the highest Attack stat in the tier after accounting for Gorilla Tactics, and it takes no additional penalty from wearing a Choice Band. Using a Choice Band allows it to defeat almost every physical wall in the Sword and Shield metagame without needing to rely on traditional boosting options, which renders normal physical checks, such as Quagsire and Galarian Corsola, vulnerable. Icicle Crash is the STAB move of choice, and it can be freely used in more situations than with the Choice Scarf set, since it is nearly impossible to switch into. Ice Punch is a serviceable alternative, as its it has 100% accuracy and has the ability to KO most Pokemon that Icicle Crash can, (AC) making it less risky of a move choice in some scenarios. Flare Blitz with a Choice Band boost is capable of always beating unboosted Corviknight and Ferrothorn, the latter of which cannot survive even after Dynamax. Earthquake allows Galarian Darmanitan to cleanly beat Toxapex and Arcanine, which are able to switch-in switch in to its other moves. Lastly, U-turn does massive chip heavy damage while also allowing Galarian Darmanitan to maintain momentum against opponents the opponent. Superpower is a great alternative to either of the last move options, beating Rotom-Wash and Rotom-Heat Rotom-W and Rotom-H leads, who which are often baited out, (AC) as they lead decently well against the more traditional Choice Scarf Galarian Darmanitan lead.

A Jolly nature is often chosen to outspeed Jolly Excadrill,; (remove comma add semicolon) however, an Adamant nature is perfectly acceptable if you want to maximize power. Choice Band Galarian Darmanitan can be brought in to punish slower teams that rely on the premier defensive walls such as Galarian Corsola, Ferrothorn, Toxapex, and Corviknight. None of these potent walls are able to switch into the right coverage. (remove doublespace)While Choice Band remains the less used of the two sets behind Choice Scarf, it still has great viability, particularly with having Paralysis paralysis support from Pokemon such Grimmsnarl, Rotom-A Rotom-C (safest bet bc idk if the others run twave?), and Type: Null, or with other forms of speed control, such as Tailwind support from Whimsicott. Alternative forms of Choice Scarf users, to fill the hole that forgoing the item on Galarian Darmanitan creates, such as Dragapult, Hydreigon, and Rotom-W (One each. Nice and simple.) are other good teammate options.

more things to do in all of your other analyses:
don't use Rotom-A as liberally.

GP 1/1 once implemented in full and correctly without missing anything
All done. Followed the video. Thanks for your patience. This is ready to upload.
