Ubers DD Z-Outrage Zyg-C (GP 1/1)

Felixx

I'm back.

Zygarde-Complete @ Dragonium Z
Ability: Power Construct
EVs: 220 Atk / 56 SpD / 232 Spe
Adamant Nature
IVs: 30 HP
- Dragon Dance
- Outrage
- Thousand Arrows
- Substitute

With Outrage in its moveset, this Dragon Dance Zygarde-C set can OHKO Dragon-types like Giratina-O, Mega Salamence, and Ultra Necrozma at +1. Meanwhile, the Z-Move lets it overwhelm opposing defensive Zygarde-C and support Arceus formes barring Arceus-Fairy, and even if it fails to OHKO the latter, 56 Special Defense EVs let it take their Ice Beam in 50% forme, while 30 HP IVs let it activate Power Construct after using Substitute twice. Additionally, having Outrage helps when trying to sweep late-game, as its higher damage output compared to Thousand Arrows helps it versus Marshadow, Mega Mewtwo Y, Yveltal, and Primal Kyogre, KOing these threats from higher amounts of HP. Mega Gengar is an exceptional teammate, as it can trap Fairy-types that punish the use of Outrage, and this specific Zygarde-C sets lacks both Glare and Groundium Z to weaken Arceus-Fairy and Xerneas. Primal Groudon and Necrozma-DM also bother Fairy-types and can set up Stealth Rock to aid in Zygarde-C's sweep.

Dragonium Z's purpose is twofold - it has a strong nuke to take out bulky, neutral mons that try to take advantage of Zygarde's typically lower damage output, and Outrage's neutral but strong damage against typical offensive checks to Zygarde when compared to Thousand Arrows make it much better at sweeping weakened offensive teams with less requirements in most cases. Here's a general list of targets it does better against:

Support Arcs, Lugia - small chip combined with SR and +1 Drake is an OHKO
Dragons (Ultra Necrozma, Zygarde, Salamence, Rayquaza, Giratina-O, Giratina) - Having Outrage / Drake available to hit them means you dont have to deal with them living +1 Arrows and OHKOing you back or otherwise dealing with you, which is important for sweeping offense
Ho-Oh - Defensive has the same situation as support Arcs, Outrage hits offensive sets way harder
Marshadow, Mewtwo, Yveltal, Kyogre - typical offensive mons that can tank boosted Arrows but fare much worse against Outrage or Drake with SR in play.

This is obviously too much info for a FB spotlight but it can be generalized into something like my initial sentence. See what you can do with it.

30 HP IVs should be noted for getting big boss after 2 subs and can go in the same sentence as the SpD EVs.

I'll take another look after the restructured sentences are done.

Rewrote the spotlight and tried to include more revelant info while keeping it within the character limit

With Outrage in its moveset, this Dragon Dance Zygarde-C set can OHKO Dragon-types like Giratina-O, Mega Salamence, and Ultra Necrozma at +1. Meanwhile, the Z-Move lets it overwhelm opposing defensive Zygarde-C and support Arceus formes (RH) barring Arceus-Fairy, and even if it fails to OHKO the latter, 56 Special Defense EVs let it live take their Ice Beam in 50% forme, while 30 HP IVs lets let it activate Complete forme Power Construct after using Substitute twice. Additionally, having Outrage helps when trying to sweep lategame late-game, as its higher damage output than compared to Thousand Arrows helps it versus Marshadow, Mega Mewtwo Y, Yveltal, and Primal Kyogre, KOing these threats from higher amounts of HP.
