[SET COMMENTS]
With a good Speed stat and an almost unresisted STAB combination aside from Ivysaur and Gloom, Dedenne carves a niche for itself as a strong special attacker in the ZU metagame. Its secondary Fairy-typing helps it check common Dark- and Fighting- types such as Galarian-Linoone, Machoke. STAB Dazzling Gleam gives it an edge over the other Electric rodents in the metagame such as Emolga, Raichu, and Pikachu, being able to OHKO Dragon-types such as Zweilous and Fraxure, while also hitting for neutral damage against most Electric- switch-ins such as Whiscash, Emolga, and Gourgeist-L. Volt Switch is used to gain momentum on Pokemon that Dedenne can't damage consistently such as Dusclops, Klang, and the aforementioned Ivysaur and Gloom. Grass Knot is used to hit Lunatone, Solrock, Whiscash, and Palpitoad harder. U-turn is an option to safely pivot on Electric immmunities such as Emolga, Hippopotas, and Seaking.

Pair Dedenne with Ice- and Psychic-types that can take advantage of Ivysaur and Gloom such as Silvally-Ice, Beheeyem, and Galarian Mr.Mime. In return, Dedenne handles Fighting- and Dark-types such as Machoke, Galarian Linoone, and Morgrem for them. Dedenne's bulk is below average and it appreciates slow pivots such as Vespiquen, Klang, and Vullaby that can help it come in safely. Physical wallbreakers such as Machoke, Trevenant, and Stonjourner appreciate Dedenne's ability to lure and Volt Switch on specially defensive walls such as Dusclops and Klang. Finally, Dedenne's slower than some revenge killers in the ZU metagame such as Persian and Dugtrio, so Pokemon that take advantage of them such as Gourgeist-L, Bellossom, and Solrock make for strong partners.

(U-turn is worth a slash, as guaranteed pivoting out against Electric immune targets is super valuable and a safe way for Ded to preserve momentum)

With a good Speed stat and an almost unresisted STAB combination aside from Ivysaur and Gloom, Dedenne carves a niche for itself as a strong special attacker in the ZU metagame. Its secondary Fairy-typing helps it check common Dark- and Fighting- types such as Galarian Linoone (no hyphen), Machoke, (AC) and Grapploct. STAB Dazzling Gleam gives it an edge over the other Electric rodents in the metagame such as Emolga, Raichu, and Pikachu, being able to OHKO Dragon-types such as Zweilous and Hakamo-o Fraxure (relevancy, still OHKOs), while also hitting for neutral damage Ground-, Electric-, and most Grass-types against Electric switch-ins such as Whiscash, Emolga, and Gourgeist-L (This wording gets to the point quicker while highlighting the synergy of the STAB combo; below is changed). Volt Switch is used to gain momentum on Pokemon that Dedenne can't damage consistently such as Dusclops, Lickitung Klang (relevancy), and the aforementioned Ivysaur and Gloom. Thunderbolt helps Dedenne break through Fairy-resists such as Klang, Lampent, and Carkol (Fluff, very basic STAB move here, and I only kept Gleam as it fit more as an intro to Ded to justify its niche over other Electric-types). Grass Knot is used to 2HKO common Electric switchins such as Whiscash and Palpitoad hit specific targets like Palpitoad, Solrock, Lunatone, and Mudbray harder. (Talked about this on Discord, changing it to specific targets is better because in general gleam hits "common Electric switchins" just as hard / harder. Feel free to change the prose to your liking!) . U-turn is an option to safely pivot on Electric immmunities such as Emolga, Hippopotas, and Seaking, but the other moves are usually more effective. Pickup is used in case Dedenne loses its item, since Cheek Pouch is useless in this set. (Fluff)

Pair Dedenne with Ice- and Psychic-types that can take advantage of Ivysaur and Gloom such as Silvally-Ice, Beheeyem, and Galarian Mr.Mime. In return, Dedenne handles Fighting- and Dark-types such as Grapploct, Machoke, Galarian Linoone, and Morgrem for them. Dedenne's bulk is below average and it appreciates slow pivots such as Vespiquen, Klang, and Vullaby that can help it come in safely. Physical wallbreakers such as Grapploct, Trevenant, and Stonjourner appreciate Dedenne's ability to lure and Volt Switch on specially defensive walls such as Dusclops and Lickitung Klang (Relevancy again). Finally, Dedenne's slower than some revenge killers in the ZU metagame such as Persian and Dugtrio, so Pokemon that take advantage of them such as Gourgeist-L, Bellossom, and Solrock make for strong partners.

QC 1/2! Really was just set comments that I thought could go in another direction, and the second paragraph was awesome.
