The only use for a Scarf Deoxys is to be able to outspeed Kingdra and Dory in weather (which is pretty funny). A Choice Specs set can be used but be careful of Dark-types. Specs Psycho Boost is so strong it's not even funny.

I was thinking about an anti-weather set, since most teams are weather based in this gen.
I was thinking about something like
-Thunder (Politoad)
-Ice Beam (Hippowdon)
-Superpower (T-Tar and the less common Abomnasnow)
-ExtremeSpeed (priority)

The problem here is that Psycho Boost is actually doing more than a supereffective Thunderbolt or Ice Beam. In addition the weather is already going and weather sweepers can come in and maul Deoxys. Choice Scarf is the only true anti weather set that Deoxys can run.
Spikes might deserve a slash in the fourth slot for the attaking set, as by predicting switches you get free layers and put the opponent into the uncomfortable situation of having to predict against Deo-A again without any attack drops, putting the player using Deo-A at a serious advantage. What's more, with team preview you know if something like Scizor can come in while you Spike, so you can double switch instead of losing Deo-A.
The whole point of an atacking set is to attack and Deoxys hates giving ujp its precious moveslots. Might stick it in AC when I can find something with a browser with a a working edit button.
