[Overview]

Dialga stands as a powerful nuke in Ubers thanks to its high offensive stats, strong coverage, solid defensive typing, and natural bulk allowing multiple entry points throughout a game and letting it soft check foes like Zekrom and Eternatus. Despite its power, though, it faces stiff competition for a team slot with Eternatus thanks to it's fast Speed tier, access to Recover, and strong, no-drawback STAB Dynamax Cannon. Additionally, Dialga's power does not prevent it from having defensive answers; Blissey and Lunala can switch into its attacks and heal off the damage multiple times a game, and Dialga is reliant on proper prediction to bypass other checks, which makes it hard to use. Opposing offense is also a tough matchup due to Dialga's prediction-reliant nature, as making the wrong call can leave it wide open to setup from threats like Zekrom and Xerneas.

[SET COMMENTS]

Draco Meteor slices through common Dragon-types such as Eternatus, Zygarde-C, and Zekrom and is its best neutral attack for Pokemon such as Groudon, Landorus-T, Blissey, and Lunala. Fire Blast melts Steel-types such as Necrozma-DM, Ferrothorn, and Zamazenta-C. Thunder is for Kyogre and is a good option to hit Xerneas with if rain is active. Power Gem prevents Ho-Oh from switching in and healing off the damage done by a different move while also doubling as a more accurate attack against Pokemon such as Yveltal and Calyrex-I. Flash Cannon is an acceptable alternative to Power Gem to hit Xerneas on top of granting a spammable STAB option that doesn't weaken over time, as Thunder can deal with Ho-Oh in its place.

Dialga fits best on offensive and balanced teams, as it's able to cleave through opposing balances and open up gaping holes for its partners, such as Eternatus, Xerneas, Zekrom and Calyrex-S, to clean up. Pokemon that can bring Dialga in more safely with U-turn such as Yveltal and Landorus-T are great partners, as they also check Pokemon that force Dialga out such as Calyrex-S and Groudon. Paralysis spreaders such as Ho-Oh, Zygarde-C, and Kyogre help compensate for Dialga's middling Speed. Dialga appreciates entry hazard support from teammates like Landorus-T and Ferrothorn to help it wallbreak; similarly, hazard control from partners like Yveltal and Ho-Oh helps keep it healthy so it can safely wallbreak throughout a battle. Dialga struggles to reliably get past Ho-oh without proper prediction, and Blissey consistently walls its attacks; Calyrex-S and Necrozma-DM can lure in and KO Ho-Oh, while Psyshock Xerneas and Dragon Tail Zygarde-C are good at forcing enough damage onto Blissey so Dialga can KO it with Draco Meteor. Lastly, checks to Xerneas, Calyrex-S, and Blissey are necessary, so Pokemon such as Ho-Oh, Yveltal, and Marshadow are good teammates.

Shuca Berry sets with Stealth Rock can be ran to free up a moveslot on Pokemon such as Groudon. Trick Room sets can be used on dedicated Trick Room teams with Steel Beam to safely bring in powerful attackers such as Dracovish and Calyrex-I.

Checks and Counters
====

**Specially Defensive Threats**: Blissey and Lunala can take any move Dialga uses and recover off the damage, although Lunala needs Shadow Shield.

**Faster Offensive Threats**: Faster Pokemon such as Calyrex-S, Marshadow, and Eternatus can revenge kill Dialga after slight chip damage.

**Setup Sweepers**: Pokemon such as Zekrom, Groudon, Kyogre, and Xerneas can take advantage of Dialga locking into a specific move by setting up against it.

**Pivot Cores**: Certain defensive cores such as Ho-Oh + Eternatus + Necrozma-DM can pivot around Dialga's attacks and exploit when it locks into the wrong move.

Not to talk shit but I INVENTED Specs Dialga :]]]]]

Yeah this looks pretty good overall, Dialga can't really do much otherwise.
Make sure you mention Pokemon that appreciate Ho-Oh being gone as good teammates (like Xerneas or Caly) since Dialga can make a great lure with Power Gem.

[Overview]

Dialga stands as one the most a very powerful nukes in the tier I still dont want to give the wrong impression about Dialga's viability by implying its one of the most anythings in the tier personally thanks to it's powerful offensive stats, strong coverage and a potent defensive typing alongside natural bulk allowing multiple entry points throughout a game. Despite it's power it faces stiff competition for a team slot with Eternatus as an offensive Dragon-Type because of its added speed, ability to switch up moves, access to recovery and the lack of drawback on its Dragon STAB just basically explain why Etern gets used so much more briefly, the stuff I've added reads a bit off to me so play around with the wording but it should be clear that as Dragons go, one is more common than the other, it's raw power alongside being able but its good power, and ability to be a one-time soft check to Pokemon such as Eternatus and Zekrom in a pinch either in a pinch, or one-time soft check, either can stay but not both, lands it a solid place in the tier . Dialga is not without proper switchins though, as Pokemon such as Blissey and Lunala are capable of switching in to all of it's attacks and recovering off the damage throughout the course of a game. Prediction is the name of the game as calling what the response of the opponent is to Dialga is crucial to it's success which makes it hard to use, as thanks to Choice Specs it can easily become setup fodder when it's locked into the wrong move or after launching a Draco Meteor, which makes Offense a tough matchup. Nothing wrong with this last sentence here but it reads clunky, I'd suggest probably making it two sentences, one talking about prediction being vital to hit the correct target (ie not fire blasting a ho-oh), and one talking about the downside of being locked into a move against offense.

Draco Meteor is Dialga's primary STAB option, able to slice through the common Dragons Ubers is known for such as Eternatus, Zygarde-Complete, and Zekrom, while also being your best neutral attack vs Pokemon such as Groudon, Landorus-Theian, Blissey and Lunala. Fire Blast is your coverage to melt Steel-Types such as Necrozma-Dusk Mane, Ferrothorn and Zamazenta-Crowned, while also being the most reliable move to click vs Fairy-Types such as Xerneas. Thunder is your button of choice vs Kyogre, while also being a good choice to hit Xerneas if Rain is active. Power Gem is for reliable Ho-oh dispatch, as otherwise the bird can come into you and heal off the damage, while also doubling as a more accurate button vs Pokemon such as Yveltal and Calyrex-Ice. I feel like here you could slash Flash Cannon, as Thunder is still heavily chunking away at Ho-ohs that try to come in on you, and Flash Cannon also means you can force out Xerneas more comfortably, and have STAB move which you can spam without getting weaker. Choice Specs grants you the devastating power Dialga is known for, alongside a Modest Nature as Dialga doesn't outspeed anything important to it with a Speed boosting nature.

Dialga commonly fits best on Offensive and Balance teams, as it's able to cleave through opposing balances and open up gaping holes for its partner to clean up, such as Eternatus, Xerneas, Zekrom and Calyrex-Shadow. Pokemon that can bring Dialga in more safely with U-Turn such as Yveltal and Landorus-Therian prove as great partners, as they also check Pokemon who force Dialga out such as Calyrex-Shadow and Groudon. Paralysis spreaders who can allow Dialga to outspeed more of the opposing team such as Ho-oh, Zygarde-Complete, and Kyogre are good partners. Pokemon who can disrupt or lure Blissey and Lunala such as Psyshock Xerneas and Dragon Tail Zygarde are also good partners, alongside Pokemon who can either clear or set hazards for Dialga to abuse such as Ferrothorn, Landorus-Therian, Yveltal and Ho-oh maybe split this in two, one about hazard removal to keep Dialga healthier, one about hazard support to nab extra KOs. Lastly, Pokemon who cover for Dialga's weaknesses to pokemon such as Xerneas, Calyrex-Shadow and Blissey pair well, such as Ho-oh, Yveltal and Marshadow, aswell as those who appreciate it's ability to lure in and KO Ho-oh removal duty, such as Xerneas, Calyrex-Shadow and Necrozma-Dusk Mane.

Flash Cannon can be run over Power Gem in order to smash Xerneas, however is generally better off bringing a superior Xerneas response alongside Dialga. Remove this line if you do slash it, as you'll have already talked about it. Shuca Berry sets with Stealth Rock can also be ran to free up Stealth Rocks on Pokemon such as Groudon. Finally, Trick room sets can be used as one of the Setters on dedicated Trick Room teams, alongside Steel Beam to safely bring in powerful abusers such as Dracovish or Calyrex-Ice.

**Specially Defensive Threats** Blissey and Lunala are capable of stomaching every hit Dialga throws at them and recovering off the damage the next turn, however Lunala needs Shadow Shield for this to be possible.

**Faster Offensive Threats** Faster Pokemon such as Calyrex-Shadow, Marshadow and Eternatus are capable of revenge killing Dialga after slight chip damage

**Setup Sweepers** Pokemon who can abuse Dialga locked into a specific move such as Zekrom, Groudon, Kyogre and Xerneas pose a threat to Dialga by setting up in it's face

**Pivot Cores** Cores such as Ho-oh, Eternatus, and Necrozma-Dusk Mane paired together are capable of dancing around Dialga locking itself into the wrong move.

Dialga stands as a powerful nuke in the tier Ubers thanks to it's powerful its high offensive stats, strong coverage,(AC) and a solid defensive typing alongside and natural bulk allowing multiple entry points throughout a game and letting it soft check foes like Zekrom and Eternatus. Despite it's its power, though, it faces stiff competition for a teamslot with Eternatus as an offensive Dragon-type, thanks to it's blazing fast because of its great Speed tier, access to Recover,(AC) and a strong,(AC) no-drawback(AH) Dragon-STAB in STAB Dynamax Cannon. However, it's good power and it's ability to soft check Pokemon such as Zekrom and Eternatus grants it a spot on teams.(Please never jump back and forth between positive and negative points in the Overview. It makes the flow of the paragraph really bad and does not make sense from an organization standpoint.) Dialga is not without proper switchins though, as Pokemon such as Blissey and Lunala are capable of switching in to all of it's attacks and heal off the damage throughout the course of a game. Prediction is the name of the game as calling the response to Dialga is crucial to it's success which makes it hard to use. Power Gem is for reliable Ho-Oh dispatch, as otherwise it can come into you and heal prevents Ho-Oh from switching in and healing off the damage done by a different move (RC) while also doubling as a more accurate button vs attack versus Pokemon such as Yveltal and Calyrex-I. I fixed up some random formatting issues but didn't comment on them. Be mindful of things such as including the colon after the second set of ** in Checks and Counters and the credits being properly done. GP 1/2 when this is implemented.

Draco Meteor slices through common Dragon-types such as Eternatus, Zygarde-C, and Zekrom,(RC) and is its best neutral attack for Pokemon such as Groudon, Landorus-T, Blissey, and Lunala. Fire Blast melts Steel-types such as Necrozma-DM, Ferrothorn, and Zamazenta-C. Thunder is for Kyogre,(RC) and is a good option to hit Xerneas with if rain is active. Power Gem prevents Ho-Oh from switching in and healing off the damage done by a different move while also doubling as a more accurate attack versus against Pokemon such as Yveltal and Calyrex-I. Flash Cannon is an acceptable alternative to Power Gem to hit Xerneas on top of granting a spammable STAB option that doesn't weaken over time, as Thunder can deal with Ho-Oh in its place. Modest nature is ideal as there are no relevant threats a Timid nature would outpace.
