[OVERVIEW]

Diancie is a reliable Stealth Rock setter for balance and bulky offense teams that also checks many of the strongest offensive threats in UU. Respectable offensive stats and strong mixed coverage in Diamond Storm, Moonblast, and Mystical Fire make it more versatile than other Stealth Rock setters. Diancie's typing and bulk allow it to check threats like Salamence, Galarian Moltres, Thundurus-T, and Kommo-o, although a lack of reliable recovery makes it hard to check multiple threats at once. Diancie doesn't fit as easily onto multiple team compositions as Krookodile and Rhyperior, but it offers unique role compression that makes it the perfect fit for certain teams. Because of its Rock typing, Diancie has a variety of weaknesses that limit the Pokemon it can effectively wall, and its lackluster Speed means it gets heavily damaged by slower wallbreakers like Primarina and Diggersby. While Diancie's mixed coverage is strong enough to punish frailer, more offensive teams, bulky offensive threats like Primarina can switch in without any fear of being 2HKOed.

[SET COMMENTS]

Diamond Storm hits most of the tier neutrally and offers a 50% chance for a +2 Defense boost, allowing Diancie to stay in and threaten Scizor with Mystical Fire or trade with Zarude or Krookodile. It also allows Diancie to pressure Pokemon like Thundurus-T, Chandelure, Moltres, and Galarian Moltres, but make sure to be careful of its low PP. Moonblast deals with threats like Kommo-o, Krookodile, and Buzzwole. Mystical Fire allows Diancie to OHKO offensive Scizor variants and heavily damage bulkier ones, which prevents it from being setup bait. It also deals respectable damage to Pokemon like Aegislash and Jirachi that otherwise wall Diancie. Also, the guaranteed Special Attack drop makes pivoting around threats like bulky Primarina and Nidoqueen much easier. Alternatively, Heal Bell gives Diancie utility as a cleric and allows it to extend its own and its teammates' longevity, further improving its excellent matchup against Defoggers like Rotom-H and Salamence. 32 Attack EVs guarantee the OHKO on Thundurus-T, and 96 Defense EVs ensure that Diancie isn't 2HKOed by Life Orb Kommo-o's Close Combat after Stealth Rock damage. A Sassy nature boosts Diancie's Special Defense without decreasing its mixed damage output.

Diancie works best on balance and bulky offense structures, as it pairs well with defensive cores that can patch up its many weaknesses. In return, it offers a crucial check to wallbreakers like Galarian Moltres that could typically dismantle defensive cores. Moltres is a phenomenal partner, offering a Ground-type immunity and a resistance to Grass- and Steel-type moves—additionally, Moltres's Flame Body can cripple threats like Zarude and Scizor as they pivot with U-turn and allow Diancie to stay in against them in the future. Similarly, Rocky Helmet Buzzwole pairs well with Diancie, as it punishes physical threats that try and use Diancie as momentum and covers several of its type weaknesses. Diancie pairs well with bulky Grass-types like Tangrowth and Amoonguss, as they account for its weaknesses to Water- and Ground-type moves like Keldeo's Surf and Krookodile's Earthquake. Diancie appreciates entry hazard removal; Tentacruel makes a great partner due to its ability to check Primarina and Keldeo and remove entry hazards with Rapid Spin. Starmie can also provide Rapid Spin support and ease the matchup against Spikes Mew. Defog users like Salamence and Rotom-W can work well too. Diancie works well with offensive Pokemon like Swords Dance Scizor, Zarude, and Buzzwole, which appreciate its ability to switch into Moltres and defensive Salamence and remove status with Heal Bell.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============
Body Press can be run over Mystical Fire or Heal Bell to take advantage of Diamond Storm's Defense boosts and threaten Pokemon like Chansey, but it's inconsistent and matchup-reliant. Toxic can be an alternative to punish switch-ins like Tangrowth and Tapu Bulu, but it makes Diancie even more vulnerable to Steel-types and limits its versatility.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Steel-types**: Diancie's 4x weakness to Steel makes it extremely vulnerable to Steel-type STAB moves from Scizor, Jirachi, Cobalion, Celesteela, and Aegislash. Scizor, Aegislash, and Cobalion are especially problematic, as they can set up with Swords Dance and threaten the rest of the team.

**Water-types**: Keldeo and Primarina can both easily OHKO Diancie with Hydro Pump, and Primarina especially can switch into any of Diancie's moves without taking too much damage and heal it off with Rest. Defensive Water-types like Seismitoad and Milotic can sponge Diancie's attacks and force it out with their own.

**Grass-types**: Assault Vest Tangrowth and Amoonguss take only moderate damage from Diancie's attacks and are able to heal it off. Zarude can't easily switch in, but it beats Diancie one-on-one.

**Entry Hazards, Status, and Knock Off**: Diancie is vulnerable to all entry hazards, and its lack of reliable recovery neuters its ability to effectively check offensive threats in the long run. Its only form of recovery is Leftovers, so Knock Off limits the number of times it can switch in throughout the game.

[OVERVIEW]

- Diancie is a reliable Stealth Rock setter for Balance teams you also mention BO later so that also checks many of the strongest offensive threats in UU.
- Respectable offensive stats and strong mixed coverage in Diamond Storm, Moonblast, and Mystical Fire make it much less passive is passive the right word here? it doesn't have rhyperior or nidoq's power, just good coverage than other more defensive Stealth Rock setters.
- Diancie's typing and bulky defenses allow it to check threats like Salamence, Galarian Moltres, Thundurus-Therian and Kommo-o all at once i think this should be phrased differently since it cant really deal with having to check multiple things well (bar moltg ig).
- Diancie is not as easily splashable as other Stealth Rocks setters like Krookodile and Rhyperior given how rhyp and krook arent too close id be more specific here on what u mean by splashable, but it offers unique role compression that make it the perfect fit for certain teams.
- That being said, it requires significant team support to cover its many weaknesses, and its underwhelming speed tier prevents it from being much of an offensive threat.
expand on weaknesses a bit more w how rock typing can suck, slow breakers own it, etc

Paragraph 1
- Diamond Storm allows Diancie to pressure mons like Thundurus-Therian, Chandelure, Moltres, and Galarian Moltres. It also serves as a useful midground move, as it hits most of the tier neutrally and offers utility with a 50% chance for a +2 Defense boost, allowing Diancie to stay in on Scizor and threaten Mystical Fire.
i think there should be some warning with diamond storm pp, maybe itd fit more smoothly if it went spread -> coverage in this section?
- Moonblast deals with threats like Kommo-o, Krookodile, and Zarude. more optional but I think buzzwole could replace one of the darks? esp since
- Mystical Fire is Diancie's most consistent third move, allowing it to OHKO offensive Scizor variants and heavily damage others, which prevents Diancie from being set-up bait. It also deals respectable damage to Pokemon like Aegislash and Jirachi that otherwise wall Diancie.
- Alternatively, Heal Bell gives Diancie utility as a cleric and allows it to extend its own longevity as well as that of its teammates. mention example of mons that might toxic to wear down diancie/others
- 32 Attack EVs guarantee the OHKO on Thundurus-Therian, and 96 Defense EVs ensure Diancie don't get 2HKOd by Life Orb Kommo-o Close Combat after Stealth Rock damage. The rest of the EVs are placed in Special Defense for overall longevity.
- Sassy Nature boosts Diancie's Special Defense without decreasing its mixed damage output.

Paragraph 2
- Diancie works best on Balanced and Balanced Offensive structures, as it pairs well with defensive cores that can shore up its many weaknesses. it kinda feels like you don't say too much on defensive cores that appreciate diancie's niche beyond the fatgrasses so maybe expand below or reword
- Moltres is a phenomenal partner, offering immunity to Ground-type moves and resistance to Grass-type and Steel-type moves -- additionally, Moltres' Flame Body can cripple threats like Zarude and Scizor and allow Diancie to stay in against them in the future. specify uturn somewhere
- Similarly, Rocky Helmet Buzzwole pairs well with Diancie, as it punishes physical threats that try and use Diancie as momentum. imo defensive buzzwole is one of diancie's best partners and this can be expanded esp in coordination with whats currently the last bullet
- Diancie pairs well with bulky Grass-type Pokemon like Tangrowth and Amoonguss, as they account for Diancie's weaknesses to Water- and Ground-type moves like?.
- Offensively, Diancie works best with pokemon like SD Scizor, Zarude, and Offensive Buzzwole, all of whom appreciate its ability to switch into Moltres and Defensive Salamence and potentially remove status with Heal Bell. not wrong to pair these together but like I don't get what you mean by offensively when you're talking about its defensive utility.
include smth on electric immunities
might as well include hazard removers since hazards have their own section in checks/counters, stuff to deal with spikes mew is nice in general

=============
- Body Press can be run over Mystical Fire or Heal Bell to take advantage of Diamond Storm defense boosts and threaten Pokemon like Chansey and Lycanroc-D, but it's inconsistent and matchup-reliant.
- Shuca Berry can be used over Leftovers on teams that struggle with or want to lure DD Salamence or Krookodile, but missing out on Leftovers recovery cripples Diancie's ability to remain relevant throughout the game. This sounds p bad esp since you don't OHKO either of them
- Protect can be run in the third slot for more Leftovers recovery and the ability to scout against threats like Band Scizor, Scarf Krookodile, and Specs Keldeo or Primarina, but it's difficult to use and runs the risk of being set up on. maybe protect could be kept w examples that like, cant set up if u don't know set for sure early game like zarude
- An offensive set can be run with Rock Polish, Power Herb, and Meteor Beam, but Diancie is mostly outclassed in this role by Nihilego. LOOL
- Trick Room teams can run an offensive set with Trick Room, Explosion, and Life Orb but this style of team is niche and heavily dependent on matchup.
eh mentioning TR is already iffy but idt it's worth over cress/uxie anyway

Checks and Counters
===================

**Steel-types**: Diancie's 4x weakness to steel makes it extremely vulnerable to Bullet Punch from Scizor or Iron Head/Flash Cannon from Aegislash, Celesteela, Jirachi or Cobalion. Scizor is especially problematic, as being forced out allows the potential for Swords Dance sets to boost their attack and threaten the rest of the team. could this be rephrased

**Water-type Wallbreakers**: Keldeo and Primarina can both easily OHKO Diancie with Hydro Pump, and Primarina especially can switch in on any of Diancie's moves without taking too much damage and can heal it off with Rest.

**Ground-type Stealth Rock Setters**: Rhyperior and Krookodile both threaten Diancie with Earthquake. Krookodile takes heavy damage from Moonblast, but Rhyperior walls Diancie completely.

**Grass-types**: AV Tangrowth and Amoonguss take only moderate damage from Diancie's attacks, and can win 1v1 with their own STAB grass moves and utility moves. Zarude can't easily switch in, but it beats Diancie 1 on 1. emphasize how diancie's damage is healed off

**Hazards and Status**: Diancie is vulnerable to all entry hazards, and its lack of reliable recovery neuters its ability to effectively check offensive threats in the long run while taking hazard damage. i think you can note knock off here and explicitly mention reliance on leftovers

i'd add a point here about how it can be pretty passive; it's deceptively strong against frailer mons sure, but it's still free entry for the likes of bulky prim, mew, and scizor if it doesn't have mystical fire. rhyp and krook don't have this issue nearly as much

Paragraph 1
- Diamond Storm serves as a useful midground move just call it a strong stab move, as it hits most of the tier neutrally and offers utility with a 50% chance for a +2 Defense boost, allowing Diancie to stay in on Scizor and threaten Mystical Fire it has other useful applications like giving it the opportunity to trade with the likes of krook and zarude depending on hp . It also allows Diancie to pressure mons Pokemon* :angry: like Thundurus-Therian, Chandelure, Moltres, and Galarian Moltres -- but be careful of its low PP.
- Moonblast deals with threats like Kommo-o, Krookodile, and Buzzwole.
- Mystical Fire is Diancie's most consistent third move, allowing it to OHKO offensive Scizor variants and heavily damage others, which prevents Diancie from being set-up bait. It also deals respectable damage to Pokemon like Aegislash and Jirachi that otherwise wall Diancie. mention how its special attack drop can also be SUPER annoying for stuff like fat prim, nidoqueen etc. because it makes them much easier to pivot around
- Alternatively, Heal Bell gives Diancie utility as a cleric and allows it to extend its own longevity as well as that of its teammates, further improving its excellent matchup against defoggers like Rotom-Heat and Salamence.

Paragraph 2
- Diancie works best on Balanced and Balanced Offensive structures, as it pairs well with defensive cores that can shore up its many weaknesses. In return, Diancie offers a crucial check to wallbreakers like Moltres-Galar that could typically dismantle defensive cores.
- Moltres is a phenomenal partner, offering immunity to Ground-type moves and resistance to Grass-type and Steel-type moves -- additionally, Moltres' Flame Body can cripple threats like Zarude and Scizor as they U-turn and allow Diancie to stay in against them in the future.
- Similarly, Rocky Helmet Buzzwole pairs well with Diancie, as it punishes physical threats that try and use Diancie as momentum and covers several of Diancie's type weaknesses.
- Diancie pairs well with bulky Grass-type Pokemon like Tangrowth and Amoonguss, as they account for Diancie's weaknesses to Water- and Ground-type moves like Keldeo's Surf and Krookodile's Earthquake.
- Diancie's solid matchup against Electric-type Pokemon like Thundurus and Rotom-Heat make an Electric-immune partner like Mamoswine or Thundurus-Therian all the more effective, as it further limits the opponent's safe moves and prevents Diancie from giving up momentum. this point feels a bit... weird, idk how else to describe it - i'd consider rewording it or just removing it altogether
- Diancie appreciates hazard removal -- Tentacruel makes a great partner due to its ability to check Primarina and Keldeo and remove hazards with Rapid Spin, but a Defogger like Salamence or Rotom-Wash can work well too. i'd mention starmie which spins all day on spikes mew, something diancie is rlly not a fan of
- In terms of offensive partners, Diancie works best with pokemon like SD Scizor, Zarude, and Offensive Buzzwole, all of whom appreciate its ability to switch into Moltres and Defensive Salamence and potentially remove status with Heal Bell.

Why wallbreakers, just make it about Water-types. Stuff like Milotic, Seismitoad, Washtom are still annoying for it

**Grass-types**: Assault Vest Tangrowth and Amoonguss take only moderate damage from Diancie's attacks, and recover that back through their recovery. Zarude can't easily switch in, but it beats Diancie 1 on 1.

**Hazards, Status, and Knock Off**: Diancie is vulnerable to all entry hazards, and its lack of reliable recovery neuters its ability to effectively check offensive threats in the long run while taking hazard damage. Its only form of recovery is in Leftovers, so getting Knocked off limits its switchins throughout the game.

[OVERVIEW]

Diancie is a reliable Stealth Rock setter for balance and Bulky Offense bulk offense teams that also checks many of the strongest offensive threats in UU. Respectable offensive stats and strong mixed coverage in Diamond Storm, Moonblast, and Mystical Fire make it more versatile than other Stealth Rock setters. Diancie's typing and bulky defenses allow it to check threats like Salamence, Galarian Moltres, Thundurus-T, (AC) and Kommo-o, although a lack of reliable recovery makes it hard to check multiple threats at once. Diancie doesn't fit as easily onto multiple team comps compositions (I assume this is right?) as Krookodile and Rhyperior, but it offers unique role compression that make it the perfect fit for certain teams. Because of its Rock typing, Diancie has a variety of weaknesses and a crippling 4x Steel weakness (I feel this part is unnecessary because I feel the reader should know that Diancie is 4x weak to Steel) that limits the Pokemon it can effectively wall, and its lackluster Speed (capitalize) means it gets heavily damaged by slower wallbreakers like Primarina and Diggersby, (AC) while Diancie's mixed coverage is strong enough to punish frailer, more offensive teams, bulky offensive threats like Primarina can switch in without any fear of being 2HKOd.

[SET COMMENTS]

Diamond Storm is a strong STAB move that hits most of the tier neutrally and offers utility with a 50% chance for a +2 Defense boost, allowing Diancie to stay in on Scizor and threaten Scizor with Mystical Fire or trade with Zarude or Krookodile. It also allows Diancie to pressure Pokemon like Thundurus-T, Chandelure, Moltres, and Galarian Moltres; but make sure to be careful of its low PP. Moonblast deals with threats like Kommo-o, Krookodile, and Buzzwole. Mystical Fire is Diancie's most consistent third move, allowing it to OHKO offensive Scizor variants and heavily damage others, which prevents Diancie from being set-up setup bait. It also deals respectable damage to Pokemon like Aegislash and Jirachi that otherwise wall Diancie. Also, the guaranteed SpA Special Attack (always fully write this out unless it is in a EV spread) drop makes pivoting around threats like bulky Primarina and Nidoqueen much easier. Alternatively, Heal Bell gives Diancie utility as a cleric and allows it to extend its own longevity as well as that of its teammates, further improving its excellent matchup against Defoggers (capitalize) like Rotom-H and Salamence. 32 Attack EVs guarantee the OHKO on Thundurus-T, and 96 Defense EVs ensure that Diancie doesn't get 2HKOd by Life Orb Kommo-o's (AA) Close Combat after Stealth Rock damage. The rest of the EVs are placed in Special Defense. A Sassy nature (lower case) boosts Diancie's Special Defense without decreasing its mixed damage output.

Diancie works best on Balanced balance and Bulky Offense bulky offense structures, as it pairs well with defensive cores that can shore patch up its many weaknesses. In return, Diancie it offers a crucial check to wallbreakers like Galarian Moltres that could typically dismantle defensive cores. Moltres is a phenomenal partner, offering immunity to Ground-type moves and resistance to Grass- and Steel-type moves—(I remove the two dashes. Keep "—" this denotes the "—", which is what you want)additionally, Moltres's Flame Body can cripple threats like Zarude and Scizor as they U-turn and allow Diancie to stay in against them in the future. Similarly, Rocky Helmet Buzzwole pairs well with Diancie, as it punishes physical threats that try and use Diancie as momentum and covers several of Diancie's its type weaknesses. Diancie pairs well with bulky Grass-type Pokemon like Tangrowth and Amoonguss, as they account for Diancie's its weaknesses to Water- and Ground-type moves like Keldeo's Surf and Krookodile's Earthquake. Diancie appreciates entry hazard removal: Tentacruel makes a great partner due to its ability to check Primarina and Keldeo and remove hazards with Rapid Spin, Starmie can spin and ease the matchup against Spikes Mew, and Defog users like Salamence or and Rotom-W can work well too. In terms of offensive partners, Diancie works best with Pokemon like Swords Dance Scizor, Zarude, and offensive Buzzwole, which all of whom appreciate its ability to switch into Moltres and defensive Salamence and potentially remove status with Heal Bell.

Implemented the above AMcheck with a few exceptions!

: didn't change the last sentence in the first paragraph to ", while" because it's a separate phrase that doesn't make sense connected with a comma
: didn't remove "make sure to be careful of its low PP" because it was requested by QC team
: changed "threaten your team" edit to "threaten the rest of the team" to avoid 2nd person

Thank you for the check! Light Sanctity deetah
