Ok so this is a team I've been working on for a while now and it's fairly consistent. It mostly revolves around the flexible pivot Nature Power Tapu koko and supporting its ability to volt switch on threats and wear down teams with dual stab. Misty Terrain gives it much needed single target fairy stab. Fini set is standard Cm which can set up on slower bulky teams while also preventing status. Salamence helps get rid of Bulu and Landorus, and can either be used early game to deal hefty damage to shit or used to clean up later when Snorlax has wore down its threats. Ferro is another great powerhouse with band that beats electrics like Koko and fairies, dealing a shitton to switches with band gyro balls. The hoopa and Snorlax core is effective both early on and later to be able to beat offense and set up Snorlax so that the opponent is forced to pressure it.

Diancie @ Weakness Policy
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Brave Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Diamond Storm
- Moonblast
- Trick Room

This is a standard fullroom team. Its already tested and give me 17-1 record on my alt. Set up TR with Hoopa or Diancie depend on ur opp team, if ur opp has aegis or metagross, hoopa is out. Kanga will be the lead's sidekick and do m-kanga things. Tapu fini was there to shut down amoongus's spore and z tr bronzonk hypnosis. Snorlax come as set up sweeper that will OHKO all foes after belly drum. Heatran will clean annoying bulky steel type mon. This team has a bad matchup against Tapu Lele+Deo-A, since it can OHKO all TR setter. M-Kanga is bulky enough to life a Deo-A Psycho Boost in Psychic Terrain. Otherwise this team is standard.

"Make Snorlax great again."

This is some Kanga+Volc team I built a little while back. I wanted to use HP Ice Volcarona, but I always felt weak to Fini and Milotic on my other teams so this time I added Ferrothorn and Kang. Landorus is special because I don't like having Earthquake with no ground immunities. The Kangaskhan is also more offensive with Low Kick to beat stuff like Heatran and Tyranitar for Volcarona.

This team is inspired by Lolk's which you can watch in action here: https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen7pokebankdoublesou-501337296

Jirachi is now gone from the format, so I had to figure out a mon that works similarly to help its friends to set up. Mew did all what Jirachi could do and more in this context.

Fake Out + Dragon Dance / Quiver Dance is always a pretty strong combination, but coupled with Mew's ability to Transform into the boosted partner makes it even more threatening.

Terrakion checks threats to Volcarona such as Heatran and Tyranitar , and to be honest is a Pokémon I still enjoy using even in this metagame.

Regigas makes more sense with Mew (fun fact: there's an AI in Pokémon Battle Revolution who uses Skill Swap Mew and Regigas).

This Regigas doesn't need to be rid of Slow Start, but when Mew and Regigas are on the field, Mew can use Skill Swap on Regigas and then either Skill Swap Slow Start to an opponent or Transform to gain a new ability.

Wide Guard and Thunder Wave support the Dancers on the team.

Scarf Bulu deals with Pokémon like Milotic (who can threaten Salamence with Ice Beam) and deals stupid damage with Wood Hammer on anything that doesn't resist it.

Started with the idea of subKyube + Tapu Bulu, as this was when Kyurem-B had just started to be rediscovered. I figured Bulu could help by taking out the bulky Water-types and opposing Tapus while also providing extra recovery for Kyurem-B. Added Mega Gengar to trap and remove problem Pokemon. Celesteela provided some nice resistances, residual recovery, and general tankiness. For the last two I originally had Light Screen Zapdos + Heatran but Zapdos needed all of its moveslots so the Light Screen that had been helping Kyube's Sub stay alive fell to Rotom-W, with Volcarona taking on Steel-types, providing Tailwind support, and redirecting.

I made this too long ago to remember what the spreads do but they were all made while Jirachi was around so I'm sure some would have to be changed around. Light Screen Washtom, Rage Powder Volcarona, and Occa Stone Edge Celesteela are all nice sets that I will happily try out again despite their inconsistencies.

life is hard

upd8ing this got harder bc of that, soz alas :(

Mishimono won this week btw :D

This week, we're going to use Tapu Koko with Assault Vest! Tapu Koko is often used with an offensive item such as Life Orb as its relatively high Speed and power with Electric Terrain-boosted Thunderbolt make it very adept at applying pressure to opposing teams. An Assault Vest puts a different spin on this; instead of just applying damage head-on, Assault Vest gives Tapu Koko a more defensive feel as it becomes able to take some hits here and there. The decreased power coming from not using an offensive item and possibly allocating EVs to stats other than Special Attack can be noticeable however, as base 95 Special Attack isn't already that high in the first place.

Deadline on Saturday GMT noon because we in this : D
