STAB Dracovish [QC: 2/2] [GP: 1/1]

[SET]
name: Dragon Dance Sweeper
move 1: Dragon Dance
move 2: Fishious Rend

move 4: Psychic Fangs
item: Splash Plate / Life Orb
ability: Strong Jaw
nature: Adamant / Jolly
evs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Dracovish is a threatening sweeper thanks to its natural access to Fishious Rend, which, combined with Strong Jaw, can deal heavy damage against many bulky Pokemon. While it is used as a sweeper, using Fishious Rend early-to mid-game is useful to threaten to KO slower pokemon such as Hippowdon and Sylveon, even without a boost, while scouting whether Ferrothorn or Toxapex is running a physically defensive set or not. Dragon Darts acts as a secondary STAB move to hit Water-resistant Pokemon such as Kommo-o and Seismitoad. Psychic Fangs is used to hit Toxapex for super effective damage. Alternatively, Aqua Jet can be used to revenge kill weakened Pokemon such as Gengar and Sand Rush Excadrill. Splash Plate is used to boost Fishious Rend's power, but Life Orb is an alternative option that can achieve certain KOs that Splash Plate misses, such as physically defensive Corviknight and Toxapex after Stealth Rock. An Adamant nature allows Dracovish to hit as hard as possible, while Jolly a nature can be used to outspeed everything up to Barraskewda after a Dragon Dance boost.

Offensive Pokemon such as Keldeo and Choice Specs Dragapult benefit from Dracovish's ability to soften walls and can help it deal with more offensive teams or break through other walls that it struggles with such as Ferrothorn. Rotom-C is notable for taking advantage of most Dracovish checks such as Seismitoad, Toxapex, Ferrothorn, and Rotom-W lacking Blue Flare for an opportunity to set up with Nasty Plot and can bring in Dracovish safely through Volt Switch. Entry hazard setters such as Ferrothorn and Kommo-o can help Dracovish score more 2HKOs through Stealth Rock support. Dracovish benefits greatly from rain support provided by Pelipper, as it boosts Fishious Rend's already high power to the point where it can reliably break through the likes of Ferrothorn and Toxapex after a Dragon Dance boost. Dragon-types such as Hydreigon and Dragapult can threaten Dracovish with their STAB moves if unboosted; checks to them such as Sylveon and Grimmsnarl are good teammates.

Mention Jolly, either as a slash or down below. You don't outpace that much but when you're running Fish you want to outspeed as much as possible.

Remove Low Kick. It doesn't actually hit Ferrothorn hard enough to warrant use. Rend is very nearly as strong.
If you boost...
+1 252+ Atk Life Orb Dracovish Low Kick (100 BP) vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Ferrothorn: 289-341 (82.1 - 96.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
+1 252+ Atk Life Orb Strong Jaw Dracovish Fishious Rend (170 BP) vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Ferrothorn: 273-322 (77.5 - 91.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
+1 252+ Atk Life Orb Dracovish Low Kick (100 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Ferrothorn: 218-257 (61.9 - 73%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
+1 252+ Atk Life Orb Strong Jaw Dracovish Fishious Rend (170 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Ferrothorn: 205-242 (58.2 - 68.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

If you don't...
252+ Atk Life Orb Dracovish Low Kick (100 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Ferrothorn: 146-172 (41.4 - 48.8%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery
252+ Atk Life Orb Strong Jaw Dracovish Fishious Rend (170 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Ferrothorn: 136-162 (38.6 - 46%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery
252+ Atk Life Orb Dracovish Low Kick (100 BP) vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Ferrothorn: 192-229 (54.5 - 65%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery
252+ Atk Life Orb Strong Jaw Dracovish Fishious Rend (170 BP) vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Ferrothorn: 182-214 (51.7 - 60.7%) -- 94.5% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery (no sr to show that the chance to 2hko is still rly high here)
Essentially Low Kick doesn't change the matchup without very specific amounts of chip.

Mention Aqua Jet as an option, whether as a slash or down below as an alternative I'll leave up to you. It allows you to push past priority and act as a revenge killer in a pinch.
Dracovish benefits greatly from rain support provided by Pelipper as Fishious Rend under rain starts OHKOing anything that don't resist it unboosted and can even break through the likes of Ferrothorn and Toxapex after a Dragon Dance boost.
Rephrase this. Yeah it hits hard, but it's not actually OHKOing literally everything. Misses PDef Avalugg for instance. I would just mention that the rain is a significant boost in power to an already strong mon.

Offensive Pokemon such as Gyarados and Hydreigon appreciates Dracovish's both wallbreaking sweeping potential.
Can I get a little more detail on this? Why specifically Hydreigon and Gyarados? For Gyarados this might be a good place to mention that Dragapult can bring in and seriously dent Rotom-W and Ferrothorn, Pokemon that can give Gyara issues if it doesn't carry the right moves. Hydreigon, I'm not quite positive where you were going with how they specifically support each other, so elaborate pls :)
QC 1/2 once that stuff is implemented :drampa:

This is supposed to be Work In Progress... but, I appreciate your QC. I've implemented these change, but will still going update the first sentence on the second paragraph.

Updated the first sentence on second paragraph, in addition of a minor change to the second sentence of first paragraph. I think this should be ready for second QC.

an oversight most likely and an edit that was not properly implemented

Dragon Darts acts as a secondary STAB move to hit Water-resistant Pokemon such as Kommo-o and Seismitoad. Psychic Fangs is used to hit Toxapex for super-effective damage (RH).
