[SET COMMENTS]

Dragalge's niche largely comes from its unique STAB typing granting it excellent neutral STAB coverage, covering many top tier threats such as Urshifu-R, non-Amnesia Togekiss, and Primarina. Adaptability makes it Draco Meteor an obscenely powerful attack, hitting most threats that don't resist it for a large surmount of damage, such as Choice Scarf Porygon-Z, non-Outrage Zeraora, and Conkeldurr. Sludge Wave covers many of the Grass- and Fairy-types like Rillaboom, Celebi, and defensive Sylveon given favorable sleep turns. Focus Blast allows Dragalge to hit Normal- and Steel-types that would otherwise wall it such as non-Conversion2 Porygon2 and Ferrothorn. Surf provides a reliable way of dealing with Fire- and Ground-types like Salazzle and non-Assault Vest Rhyperior. 168 HP and 192 Special Defense EVs allow Dragalge to survive a Choice Scarf Hyper Beam from Porygon-Z, Choice Specs Celebi's Psychic, and three Air Slashes from Choice Scarf Togekiss. The Speed EVs allow Dragalge to outspeed Pokemon with base 45 Speed like Alolan Marowak and Conkeldurr. The rest of the EVs are invested into Special Attack for maximum damage output. Alternatively, Dragalge can run an Assault Vest set with an EV spread of 180 HP / 112 SpA / 216 SpD to tank a Choice Specs Hyper Beam from Porygon-Z and Hyper Beam from offensive Sylveon after Fake Tears.

Dragalge's main issue is facing faster Dragon-types like Dragapult, Dracovish, and Haxorus, as well as other Dragon-types like Kommo-o and Goodra, as although they don't have the capabilities to simply OHKO Dragalge, they can run Haban Berry in order to survive its Draco Meteor and proceed to 2HKO it. Its vulnerability to specially defensive Pokemon like Chansey, Galarian Corsola, and Goodra detriments it from doing its job as a strong special attacker. Therefore, stallbreakers like Nasty Plot Porygon-Z, Swords Dance Haxorus, and Lum Berry Crustle are appreciated. In return, they all appreciate Dragalge's ability to handle Fairy-types like Primarina and Azumarill. Crustle, in particular, has excellent synergy with Dragalge, handling top-tier threats like Galarian Darmanitan, Choice Band Dracovish, and stall Arcanine, while Dragalge can take care of Water-types like Urshifu-R, Slowbro, and Rotom-W. Due to its lackluster Speed tier, Dragalge is prone to faster threats like Galarian Darmanitan and Diggersby; Chilan Berry Primarina, Urshifu-R, and Sawk can help neuter this issue. In return, Dragalge can handle Trick users like Rotom-W and Gardevoir.

Sludge Wave covers many of the Grass- and Fairy-types like Rillaboom, Celebi, Primarina, and defensive Sylveon given with favorable sleep turns. Focus Blast allows Dragalge to hit Normal- and Steel-types that would otherwise wall it such as non-Conversion2 Porygon-2 Magnezone, (they got Sturdy and can click Flash Cannon to 2HKO) and Ferrothorn. Surf provides a reliable way of dealing with Fire- and Ground-types like Volcarona and Rhyperior. 168 HP alongside 192 SpD EVs Dragalge to survive a Choice Scarf Hyper Beam from Porygon-Z, Choice Specs Hyper Beam from Sylveon, (the correct play would be to Hyper Voice twice which would 2HKO, so it doesn't matter if you live Hyper Beam) Choice Specs Celebi's Psychic; and, 3 Air Slashes from Choice Scarf Togekiss. The Speed EVs allow Dragalge to outspeed base 45's like Marowak-A and Conkeldurr. The rest of the EVs are invested into Special Attack for maximum damage output. to guarantee the OHKO on Aromatisse (Aromatisse is SpD these days and will make light work of Dragalge.) Alternatively, Dragalge can run an Assault Vest set with the following EVs: 180 HP / 112 SpA / 216 SpD to tank a Choice Specs Hyper Beam from Porygon-Z and Hyper Beam from offensive Sylveon after Fake Tears.

You should be careful when going up against Dragon-types like Kommo-o and Goodra, as they will tend to run Haban Berry, survive Dragalge's attacks and proceed to 2HKO it. (Just make this entire point much more broad and outline Dragalge's overall Dragon-type weakness, since (as you mentioned) it can't muscle past Haban-berry users and just drops to faster Dragon threats like Haxorus, Dracovish and Dragapult.) Dragalge's main drawback is its vulnerability to specially defensive Pokemon like Snorlax, Chansey, Galarian Corsola, and Goodra. Therefore, stallbreakers like Taunt Urshifu-S, Swords Dance Haxorus and Lum Berry Crustle and Tyranitar, (not relevant) are appreciated. In return, they all appreciate Dragalge's ability to handle Fairy-types like Primarina and Aromatisse Azumarill. Crustle, in particular, has excellent synergy with Dragalge handling top-tier threats like Darmanitan-G, Choice Band Dracovish, and stall Arcanine while Dragalge can take care of Water-types like Urshifu-R, Slowbro, and Rotom-W. Dragalge also struggles against stall Pokemon like Corviknight Skarmory (better mon) and Mandibuzz Corsola-Galar (more variety) so wallbreakers stallbreakers like Porygon-Z , Darmanitan-G, and Choice Specs Primarina Rotom-H pair up well. (Had to change team options a little with the inclusion of Skarmory and Corsola-Galar, though this is also fine and gives a slightly broader analysis. Also somewhere another sentence or two about its lucklustre speed tier and susceptability to faster threats such as Galarian Darmanitan and Diggserby and mons that patch this up - Chilan Primarina comes to mind.)
Nice work! QC 1/2
