Dragapult is a great mid- or late-game setup sweeper for Ghost teams thanks to its access to Dragon Dance, good offensive typing, and power. Thanks to its great Speed tier, it can outpace Zeraora and Kingdra in rain after a single Dragon Dance. Dragon Darts backed by Dragon Fang and STAB allow Dragapult to OHKO Pokemon such as Volcarona. Phantom Force is a strong STAB Ghost-type move that threatens Pokemon such as Jirachi and Hatterene. Substitute allows Dragapult to set up Dragon Dance on passive threats such as Toxapex and Ferrothorn safely. Dragapult appreciates teammates such as Gengar and Aegislash, as they can weaken defensive cores, allowing Dragapult to clean late-game. Aegislash is also able to poison Pokemon with Toxic, aiding in a potential Dragon Dance sweep from Dragapult. Galarian Corsola provides Stealth Rock support, is able to cripple threats with Will-O-Wisp, and can grant Dragapult setup opportunities via its ability in Cursed Body. Mimikyu can threaten Dark-types such as Mandibuzz and Grimmsnarl.
