Dragapult is a powerful offensive force in the metagame that can outspeed nearly every unboosted foe and threaten them out with its powerful STAB attacks and coverage options. Dragapult's STAB moves alone can target everything viable or fully evolved for at least neutral damage besides Grimmsnarl and Bisharp, making it a difficult threat to check when backed up with a Choice Specs boost. Fire Blast acts as a great coverage option that mainly targets defensive Steel-types such as Ferrothorn and Corviknight, which can potentially avoid the 2HKO from Dragapult's STAB moves. U-turn enables Dragapult to pivot out of unfavorable matchups such as Tyranitar, Sylveon, and Grimmsnarl. Dynamax Cannon can be used as an alternative to Clanging Scales that has the benefit of not decreasing Dragapult's physical bulk after every use alongside targeting specific threats such as Soundproof Kommo-o, but the slight decrease in power can oftentimes be enough to change 2HKOs to 3HKOs. Infiltrator enables Dragapult to threaten Substitute users while also bypassing the defensive boost provided by opposing dual screens support. Clear Body may be used as an alternative to counteract the Speed drop from Sticky Web alongside potential offensive stat drops from Parting Shot and Mystical Fire, but Infiltrator is largely preferred. Dragapult can also threaten typical checks to this set via the potential of it being physical, as threats such as Sylveon and Tyranitar do not appreciate switching into Choice Band Dragapult and thus must be wary when scouting for which set it is.

Dragapult can struggle to break through specially bulky walls such as Sylveon, defensive Tyranitar, and specially defensive Corviknight. Therefore, physical wallbreakers such as Terrakion, Cinderace, Zeraora, and Dracovish can all help weaken Dragapult's checks and secure a sweep for it in the late-game. Dragapult also appreciates entry hazard support from the likes of Ferrothorn, Seismitoad, and Tyranitar, where the extra chip damage can be crucial in putting its checks in range of being 2HKOed on the switchin. It is also important to note that one of the most common Choice Specs Dragapult switch-ins, Sylveon, likes to clear entry hazards, meaning that entry hazard setters are even more important to pair with it. Due to Dragapult's lackluster defenses, slow pivoting from the likes of Hatterene, Rotom-W, and Corviknight may also be beneficial in enabling Dragapult to come in more frequently. Finally, Pokemon that can deal with common Sucker Punch and, to a lesser extent, Shadow Sneak users, such as Tyranitar and Obstagoon, make good partners for Dragapult.

move 1: Moongeist Beam
move 2: Clanging Scales / Dynamax Cannon, I think it's worth mentioning that Dynamax Cannon allows it to hit Kommo-O (also possibly worth noting that Clanging Scales bypasses Substitute as well when considering ability choice of Clear Body vs Infiltrator?? idk)
move 3: Fire Blast
move 4: U-turn

Dragapult can struggle to break through more specially bulkier walls such as Sylveon, defensive Tyranitar, and specially defensive Corviknight. Therefore, physical wallbreakers such as Obstagoon, Cinderace, Zeraora, and Weavile (Half of the pokemon you listed lose 1v1 to at least 2 of the pokemon you mentioned, but they do provide valuable chip... up to you to take what I said but I'm kinda iffy on half of these being mentioned... as strong as Goon is those are typically its 3 strongest checks in the meta and weav is just a meh mon) can all help weaken Dragapult's checks and secure a sweep in the lategame. Dragapult also appreciates hazard support from the likes of Ferrothorn, Seismitoad, and Tyranitar, where the extra chip can be crucial in putting it's checks in range of being 2HKOed on the switchin. Clear Body may be used as an alternative to counteract the Speed drop from Sticky Webs alongside potential offensive stat drops from Parting Shot and Mystical Fire, however Infiltrator is largely preferred. Mention the threat of physical sets at team preview benefiting Dragapult and discouraging opponents from harding into stuff like Sylveon.

Dragapult can struggle to break through more specially bulkiery ik thats a gp thing but >_< walls such as Sylveon, defensive Tyranitar, and specially defensive Corviknight. Therefore, physical wallbreakers such as Terrakion, Cinderace, Zeraora, and Dracovish can all help weaken Dragapult's checks and secure a sweep in the lategame. Possibly worth mentioning that several of the Pokemon that like to switch into Specs Pult, most notably Sylveon, like to clear hazards. Or maybe not. Due to Dragapult's lackluster defenses, slow pivoting from the likes of Hatterene, Rotom-W, and Corviknight may also be beneficial in enabling Dragapult in coming in more frequently.
