When the Shiny Jirachi from the Tanabata event was revealed I really wanted to have it in my Pokémon game. But then I realized that nobody could trade me a fully legit Shiny Jirachi, so I decided to go to Japan personally.
I flew to Osaka and then I visited cities such as Kyoto, Nikko and Tokyo (I visited the Pokémon Center as well).
I stayed at Ueno Hotel which was near the JR Train Station. We also made a special but expensive ticket (only available for foreigners) that made possible to take advantage of all JR transport services for free (Japan Rail Pass).
Then I managed to book the Tickets for the Shinkansen named Hayabusa, which bounded for Morioka (it left from Ueno and stopped at Sendai).

On the 28 of August I went to Tohoku PC located inside the AER Building (third floor).
Here I downloaded some japanese events like Pokéball Vivillion and the most notable Tanabata Jirachi.
