Drapion is one of the two Pokemon on Poison teams to be immune to Psychic-type moves due to its Poison / Dark typing, allowing it to check prominent Psychic-type threats such as Choice Scarf Gardevoir, Choice Specs Indeedee-M and Hatterene. It also functions as a secondary line of defence against powerful Ghost-type special attackers such as Choice Scarf Dragapult, Gengar and Chandelure by providing a less passive switch option than Toxapex on Poison balances. Drapion faces competition from Skuntank for its spot within Poison teams due to their shared typing. Its main draws over Skuntank are access to Knock Off and Toxic Spikes. Knock Off allows Drapion to remove items from defensive switch ins such as Ferrothorn's Leftovers, Mew's leftovers, Toxapex's Black Sludge and Galarian Corsola's Eviolite. Poison Jab allows Drapion to threaten out Gardevoir and Hatterene. Taunt prevents slower hazard setters such as Ferrothorn and Pincurchin from getting up Stealth Rocks and Spikes respectively. Toxic Spikes serves as the final slot, crippling opposing teams by poisoning grounded pokemon upon entry and works well versus Ghost and Dragon teams. Drapion, unlike Toxapex, can also set up Toxic Spikes against Fairy and Psychic teams due to Hatterene fearing Poison Jab. This ability to set up Toxic Spikes versus Hatterene teams helps enable Salazzle as a win condition in these matchups. Maximum investment in HP and Special Defence with a Careful Nature allow Drapion to consistently take attacks from Indeedee, Gardevoir, Alolan Raichu, Polteageist and Hatterene and fulfill its main role of switching into strong special Psychic-type attacks which otherwise would sweep through Poison teams.

Galarian Weezing is a great partner to Drapion thanks to its ability Levitate providing a Ground immunity and being able to Defog entry hazards, preventing Drapion and other Poison-type Pokemon getting worn down upon switch in by Stealth Rock and Spikes. Vileplume also serves a similar role vs. Ground-type attacks due to its high defensive stat however can also take on Mold Breaker Excadrill which otherwise switches in for free on Drapion and picks up a KO. Toxapex can soak up certain special attacks that Drapion does not appreciate such as Dragapult's Draco Meteor as well as being able to switch into strong physical attackers such as Gyarados, Dracovish and Bisharp that can otherwise take advantage of Drapion. Salazzle takes advantage of the Toxic Spikes that Drapion provides through using Substitute and Protect to rack up damage and is essential in the Steel and Mirror matchups for spreading poison on Poison / Steel-type Pokemon due to its ability Corrosion. Lastly, Scarf Gengar is a great partner that serves as a revenge killer against Ghost, Psychic and Fairy teams, taking pressure off of Drapion who can in turn switch into Psychic-, Dark- and Ghost-type attacks that scare out Gengar.

Notes:

Im unsure whether to add a scarf set here, Drapion can offensively revenge kill pokemon such as Gardevoir with its decent base 95 speed and it is a viable set though faces a lot of competition with gengar in this regard. General vague other options include Toxic and EQ. I guess you can also run SD, but I dont think thats very good personally.

name: Toxic Spikes Support Defensive(Poison) I think defensive fits the set better because 50% of its moves are attacking and the other rest is support, Galarian Weezing is more of a support mon on Poison, Toxapex is named Defensive as well.

This ability to set up Toxic Spikes versus Hatterene teams helps enable Salazzle as a win condition in these matchups. Maximum investment in HP and Special Defence with a Careful Nature allow Drapion to consistently switch into Indeedee-M(you can just say Indeedee so it wouldn't really make a difference since it can switch in on both genders.), Gardevoir and Hatterene and fulfill its main role of switching into Psychic-type attackers which otherwise would sweep through Poison teams.(I feel like Alolan Raichu and Polteageist should be mentioned somewhere in correlation to its HP/SpD investment, because Skuntank's Sucker Punch revenge kills Raichu/Polt which can be pretty threatening if your just straight up running offensive Drapion.)

Galarian Weezing is a great partner to Drapion thanks to its ability Levitate providing a Ground immunity and being able to Defog entry hazards, preventing Drapion and other Poison-type Pokemon getting worn down upon switch in by Stealth Rock and Spikes. Lastly, Salazzle takes advantage of the Toxic Spikes that Drapion provides and is essential in the Steel and Mirror matchups for spreading status. How is Salazzle essential in the Steel-type matchup? I think you should mention its Fire-type STAB (Flamethrower), and how it can make use of Drapion's Toxic Spikes and stall out damage with SubToxic or just explain more what it does. (Mention Choice Scarf Gengar)

* ' Drapion is one of the two Pokemon on Poison teams to be immune to Psychic-type moves due to its Poison / Dark typing, allowing it to check prominent Psychic-type threats such as Choice Scarf Gardevoir, Choice Specs Indeedee-M and Hatterene.' Remove this line and talk about Drapion more individually, say how it is able to check Psychic-type Pokemon like x and x due to its Dark-typing while also being able to provide utility support in the form of Knock Off and Toxic Spikes to the team.

* ' It also functions as a secondary line of defence against powerful Ghost-type special attackers such as Choice Scarf Dragapult, Gengar and Chandelure by providing a less passive switch option than Toxapex on Poison balances.' You can club this line with the first one and make it more concise by stating that Drapion is able to check Psychic and Ghost type Pokemon such as x and x.

* ' Knock Off allows Drapion to remove items from defensive switch ins such as Ferrothorn's Leftovers, Mew's leftovers, Toxapex's Black Sludge and Galarian Corsola's Eviolite.' You dont need to state items for each of those examples. Simply state that Knock Off lets Drapion punish defensive switch-ins like Ferrothorn, Toxapex and Blissey while being able to threaten Psychic and Dark-type Pokemon like Indeedee, and Galarian Corsola.

* ' Poison Jab allows Drapion to threaten out Gardevoir and Hatterene. ' Add Togekiss too.

* ' Taunt prevents slower hazard setters such as Ferrothorn and Pincurchin from getting up Stealth Rocks and Spikes respectively.' Also mention Taunt letting Drapion prevent Defog from Pokemon like Mandibuzz and Braviary.

* ' Toxic Spikes serves as the final slot, crippling opposing teams by poisoning grounded pokemon upon entry and works well versus Ghost and Dragon teams.' Ghost teams run Gengar very commonly so Toxic Spikes being good against Ghost is not really a true fact. Add Normal and Electric.

* ' This ability to set up Toxic Spikes versus Hatterene teams helps the team to enable Salazzle as a win condition in these matchups against Psychic and Fairy type teams. '

* ' Galarian Weezing is a great partner to Drapion thanks to its ability Levitate providing a Ground immunity and being able to Defog entry hazards, preventing Drapion and other Poison-type Pokemon getting worn down upon switch in by Stealth Rock and Spikes. ' Also talk Galarian Weezing checking threats like Urshifu-S.

* ' Vileplume also serves a similar role vs. Ground-type attacks due to its high defensive stat however can also take on Mold Breaker Excadrill which otherwise switches in for free on Drapion and picks up a KO. ' Add Amoongus over Vileplume and talk about it checking Ground types like Excadrill while also serving utility purpose with Spore and Foul Play.

* ' Toxapex can soak up certain special attacks that Drapion does not appreciate such as Dragapult's Draco Meteor as well as being able to switch into strong physical attackers such as Gyarados, Dracovish and Bisharp that can otherwise take advantage of Drapion.' Choice Scarf Dragapult has fallen out of usage, it is nowadays running DD set so you may want to remove that part. Remove Gyarados as an example too since it is uncommon right now. You can add Cinderace as an example.

* Mention Scolipede as a teammate, talk how Drapion + Scolipede make a good core against Psychic teams and how Scolipede appreciates Toxic Spikes support to clean late-game.
