Duo-type Doubles - Grand Finals (Won by Paraplegic)

(approved by Quite Quiet)
Duo-type Doubles

We've all heard of Monotype format before, but have you ever wondered what a format with two types per team would be like? Well, the purpose of this tournament is to explore just that.

Tournament rules:
  • Tournament Rules and General Guidelines can be read here.
  • The format of this tournament is best-of-one double elimination.
  • This tournament will use the Monotype Doubles rules, which can be read about here.
    • The only exception to these rules, of course, is that all of your Pokemon must be at least one of two types of your choice. (The six Pokemon pictured above would be legal on the same team.)
  • You are allowed to change teams/types in between rounds.
  • Any relevant tier changes that happen during the tournament will be effective at the start of the next round.
Grand Finals
Paraplegic vs. Moosical (L)

(Please remember to play a second game should Moosical win the first game, as it's still double elimination. Also please make sure replay(s) get posted.)

The deadline for this round is Monday, June 3, at 8:59 AM Pacific Time.

Sorry for the late reply; I've been distracted by the DOU SSNL.

Thanks for the replays, Paraplegic, but it looks like you used Damp Rock in several of your matches, which is on the banlist in the rules I linked in every OP. However, since none of your opponents bothered to report your violation and there's no telling how many other players may have also violated the rules due to replays not being required, I don't think I can punish you. I'll use this as a lesson to require replays so violators can be punished (which would probably be a rule-abiding rematch for first-time violators, then a game loss for any further violations) before moving on to the next round should I host this tournament again.

oh shit my bad lol, didnt realize that, although ftr theres no way the weather extenders are broken in a format like this

I think it only really had an impact in one of your matches. Might just get rid of that rule if I host this tournament again.
