- Drain Punch allows Eelektross to be an ok Assault Vest user.
- Thunder Punch is the STAB of choice however Wild Charge can be used but, it is rather redundant with Assault Vest as Eelektross is worn down very fast.
- Knock Off gives Eelektross utility along with the ability to hit ghosts.
- U-Turn is good for gaining momentum and making Eelektross a solid pivot.

- Assault Vest is the main reason to use Eelektross as using any other item will make you look unintelligent although you are already not looking intelligent when using Eelektross.
- The EV spread allows Eelektross to be as bulky and hit as hard as Possible.
- Levitate is the only ability of Eelektross so you have no other option for an ability.
