Other Metagames Estrogen(ORAS Monotype RMT)(Peaked 1700)

Hey guys Flattering here. With Monotype having the Lower-Tier Ladder Contest and allowing Fairy I decided to make my first RMT with my favorite type, Fairy!

I started with Klefki and Azumarill. Klefki is a staple on any fairy team, it's a viable prankster user and has access to screens making it easier for Azumarill to set-up. Azumarill is a huge threat to a lot of teams. Once it gets a belly drum up, it almost always gets a kill.

I added Sylveon next. It tanks a lot of special moves and has a great movepool.

I added Diancie next. Diancie is a great late game sweeper, and my team lacked a mega, I went with Diancie over Gardevoir because it helps with beating flying and my team has a huge weakness to that type.

I chose Clefable next. I noticed my team had a lot of weakness to sashes, so i made Clefable my Stealth Rocker since it has a lot of bulk and access to Magic Guard.

Finally I chose Gardevoir. Trace is a funny ability to use and catches a lot of people off guard. Also Gardevoir helps beat poison which is at advantage to this team.

Sylveon @ Choice Specs
Ability: Pixilate
EVs: 248 HP / 252 SpA / 8 SpD
Modest Nature
- Hyper Voice
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Shadow Ball
- Psyshock

I chose to go with the specs set on sylveon. Hyper Voice is Pixilate Boosted so has a good base damage. HP Fire to hit steel teams, Shadow Ball is a filler move and helps beat Psychic. Psyshock hits specially defensive mons. I went with Specs over cleric sylveon because That would put this team on a stally path and I was aiming for Hyper Offense. Sylveon with Specs works as a wonderful wallbreaker for this team.

Diancie @ Diancite
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 32 Atk / 224 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Moonblast
- Diamond Storm
- Earth Power
- Protect

Modest Diancie is a huge threat to a lot of teams. Moonblast and Diamond Storm are needed stab, Earth Power hits steel types. I went with Protect, because Protect allows Diancie to get a speed boost without taking any damage. Originally I had Rock Polish over protect, but i decided protect would do better.

Klefki @ Light Clay
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Bold Nature
- Reflect
- Light Screen
- Foul Play
- Thunder Wave

Klefki is just a generic screen setter. Foul Play and Thunder Wave allow me to hit Dragon Dancers hard. It also helps with Pokemon that use Swords Dance like Mega Scizor, which this team has a huge weakness to. Screens allows for me to reduce the damage taken with all my mons and helps let my azumarill sweep late game or early game depending on the situation.

Clefable @ Leftovers
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 172 Def / 84 SpD
Calm Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Moonblast
- Fire Blast
- Soft-Boiled

Clefable with magic guard helps beat a lot of stall mons Clefable serves as the rocker of this team and a good lead. Stealth Rocks for rock damage, Moonblast is needed stab. Fire Blast hits steel and grass types like Scizor and Ferrothorn. Soft-Boiled is Recovery. I went with stealth rocks over calm mind, because this team has a weakness to sash breloom and a lot of other sash mons.

Azumarill @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 92 HP / 252 Atk / 164 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Aqua Jet
- Knock Off
- Play Rough
- Belly Drum

Azumarill Is the Belly Drum set. Belly Drum is attack boost. Aqua Jet is STAB and wonderful priority. Once you get a belly drum up its basically gg for a lot of types. Knock off to hit Slowbro and remove eviolite from certain Pokemon like Chansey and Porygon2. Play Rough is a good Fairy STAB for Azumarill and hits hard.

Gardevoir @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Trace
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Moonblast
- Psychic
- Healing Wish
- Trick

I went with the scarf set for Gardevoir. Moonblast and Psychic are good STAB and hit a lot of types hard. Healing Wish helps me get a second chance with Azumarill and Klefki or any Pokemon on my team that I think can beat my Opponents team the best. Trick helps remove eviolites and other items that my team would be weak to normally.

Sylveon @ Choice Specs

Yo nypt. There isn't anything inherently wrong with the team as you did a good job at fulfilling that balance fairy status. clef and klekfi support the rest of the team quite nicely and the offensive core you have does a good job at being able to break down passiveness. The only nitpick I have which will help your sylveon get a few more switchins is through taking 92 evs out of HP and putting them into speed. 92 speed on sylv lets you creep every viable azumarill spread. It nabs speedy azu's by one point so you can revenge azumarill alot easier and fire back with specs HV's.

Sylveon @ Choice Specs
Ability: Pixilate
EVs: 164 HP / 252 SpA / 92 Spe
Modest Nature
- Hyper Voice
- Shadow Ball
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Psyshock
