Eternatus @ Black Sludge
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 164 SpD / 92 Spe
Timid Nature
- Dynamax Cannon
- Mystical Fire
- Toxic
- Recover

Eternatus sports great Special Attack and Speed, amazing bulk, a terrific typing, flawless coverage, reliable recovery, and Pressure! This lethal combination allows Eternatus to outlast both offensive and defensive Pokemon alike, making it one of the best Pokemon in AG. Dynamax Cannon and Mystical Fire target most Pokemon for neutral damage; the former nails Palkia and Adamant Marshadow, while the latter disrupts Xerneas and Calm Mind Kyogre. Toxic helps Eternatus make progress by crippling walls such as Ho-Oh, bulky Yveltal, and Lunala. Recover coupled with Pressure lends Eternatus a powerful tool in drawn-out games, PP stalling passive Pokemon such as Necrozma-DM and Ferrothorn. Eternatus pairs well with bulky Yveltal and Necrozma-DM to establish the primary defensive backbone of many AG teams, taking on huge threats in Kyogre, Calyrex-S, Zacian-C, and Xerneas between the three of them. Lunala nicely rounds out the core by checking Zygarde-C, Groudon, and Zekrom. Lastly, Zacian-C is a natural offensive partner, scaring Calm Mind Kyogre out once it's forced to use Rest after being poisoned by Eternatus.

Here's a great example of Eternatus in action!

QC 1/1 very well done.
I had to make a ton of random changes in order to fit the comment about how good eternatus is, which I feel is quite important. If you see better places to trim characters than those I found, feel free to trim those instead. Lastly: the Marshadow mention felt slightly off since marshadow isn't necessarily as meta-defining as zacian-c or calyrex-s or kyogre. If you disagree, there are probably better ways to trim characters.
