Evos for Everyone (Slate 21- Keep it Simple)

New Pokemon Name: Cadenescent (cadence + luminescent)
Evolution Method: Level up past level 35 with an Illumise in your party
Type:

New Moves:
Hyper Voice, Healing Wish, Swords Dance, Leech Life, Zing Zap
Ability: Illuminate* / Prankster / Galvanize
(*Illuminate unleashed a blinding light, making any move that isn’t 100% accurate miss Cadenescent with ease [an opposite of No Guard if you will]) This may be OP idk
Stats: 85 (+20) / 110 (+37) / 85 (+10) / 60 (+13) / 85 / 105 (+20) (530 BST)
Competitive Niche: Cadenescent becomes an offensive beast with a decent amount of Speed and Attack and an overall BST boost. Illuminate allows Cadenescent to avoid moves that could hurt it such as Fire Blast or Stone Edge while Galvanize gives him access to powerful priority with Quick Attack or a more powerful Electric STAB in Return over Zing Zap. Swords Dance, Leech Life, and Zing Zap helps with offensive sets while Healing Wish helps with Choiced sets thanks to Prankster, giving team support as well.

Idk if I’ll have time to post sample sets, but I will try.

New Pokemon Name: Spotlise (corruption of spotlight)
Evolution Method: Level up past level 35 with a Volbeat in your party
Type:

New Moves:
Moonblast, Tail Glow, Healing Wish
Ability: Magic Guard / Tinted Lens / Prankster
Stats: 85 (+20) / 60 (+13) / 115 (+40) / 80 (+7) / 95 (+10) / 95 (+10) (530 BST)
Competitive Niche: Spotlise is a more defensive counterpart to its opposite, Cadenescent. Moonblast gives her a consistent Fairy STAB while Tail Glow can help it’s offensive sets. Healing Wish provides more utility to an already full movepool of utility options. Magic Guard helps negate SR damage, along with toxic and burn damage, and even allow LO sets as it avoids the recoil while Tinted Lens can be used as well as Prankster on Choiced sets to take advantage of its poor STAB combination.

Again, if I have time I will try to come up with sets.

Doing this on mobile is so fricking hard.
that's why I always wait until I don't have to (meaning, typically weekends)

New Pokemon Name: Watuff (Watt + Tuff. Apparently Volbeat is based on Greasers?)
Type: Bug / Fighting
New Moves: Close Combat, Mach Punch, Bulk Up
Ability: Illuminate / Prankster / Macho (Traps Fighting types, but is also trapped in return.)
Stats: 75 / 103 / 97 / 60 / 100 / 95 | 530 BST
Competitive Niche: Watuff can serve as a trapper of fighting types with its decent all around stats and good Movepool. Play Rough or Acrobatics can dispose of enemy fighting types, but it's stabs aren't effective against them. It also has 4MSS, wanting to run recovery, STAB, and coverage. It could run a special set with Tail Glow, but 60 SpA is really subpar.

New Pokemon Name: Tutulit (Tutu + Light)
Type: Bug / Psychic
New Moves: Psychic, Quiver Dance, Revelation Dance
Ability: Dancer / Prankster / Magic Bounce
Stats: 75 / 52 / 85 / 101 / 101 / 115
Competitive Niche: Tutulit is an amazing special sweeper with access to Quiver Dance. It has good dual STAB and can use Prankster or Magic Bounce effectively. I'll edit more later

Original Pokemon Name: Volbeat
New Pokemon Name: Beedazzle (beetle + dazzle, also corruption of bedazzle)
Evolution Method: Level up past level 30 while knowing Signal Beam

Move Additions: Volt Switch, Flash Cannon, Power Gem, Zing Zap, Swords Dance
Competitive Niche (OU): Beedazzle has the capability to go physical or special with access to Swords Dance and Tail Glow, or it can choose a more supportive set with Prankster. Lunge lowers the opponent's defense each time it hits, allowing even an uninvested set to maintain some offensive pressure.

Type:

Ability: Battle Spirit* / Mold Breaker / Moxie (HA)
Battle Spirit - Fighting-type Steelworker variant
Stats: 90 / 120 / 125 / 55 / 80 / 75 | BST: 550 (+25 HP, +25 Def, +10 SpD, -10 Spe)
Move Additions: Megahorn, Head Smash, Rock Polish, Outrage, Slack Off
Competitive Niche (OU): A powerful physical sweeper with many high-powered attacks. Battle Spirit gives pseudo-STAB to Close Combat, which provides a good way to hit many Steel-types that wall its STAB combo.
Pinceratops @ Life Orb / Rockium-Z
Ability: Battle Spirit / Moxie
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant / Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance

Evolution Method: Level up past level 43 while knowing Leech Life
Type:

Ability: Beast Boost

Move Subtractions: Stone Edge
Competitive Niche (LC): Physical bulky Fighting type, its Bug STAB hits Psychic-types as well as provides some recovery. It can stand up to other Fighting-types because of its physical bulk and typing, which resists Fighting and Dark while being neutral to Rock.
Buzzwole @ Eviolite
Ability: Beast Boost
EVs: 220 Atk / 12 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Leech Life
- Superpower
- Rock Slide
- Roost / Earthquake

New Pokemon Name: Nymphole (nymph+swole)
Evolution Method: Level up while knowing Bulk Up
Typing:

Ability: Beast Boost
Stats: 67 / 89 / 89 / 43 / 43 / 59 | BST: 390 (-40 HP, -50 Atk, -50 Def, -10 SpA, -10 SpD, -20 Spe)
Move Subtractions: Smack Down, Rock Tomb, Rock Slide, Stone Edge, Hyper Beam, Giga Impact
Competitive: Basically Buzzwole but in LC. Really good physical bulk w/ eviolite, and pretty good stats for LC standards. Still has Roost for recovery and its draining STABs plus EQ and Ice Punch for an all-out attacking set.

Level up past level 34 at dusk
Original Pokemon Name: Volbeat
New Pokemon Name: Bulbant ( Bulb + Banter )
Type:

Ability: Illuminate / Magic Bounce | Prankster (HA)
Stats: 65 / 90 / 94 / 75 / 111 / 95 | BST: 530
Move Additions: Will-o-Wisp, Eerie Impulse, Copycat, Taunt, Memento
Competitive Niche (OU): Gains a number of strong moves to use with Prankster, such as Will-o-Wisp, Taunt, and Memento, making support sets an option. It can run Tail Glow + Copycat to set up a sweep if it manages to get a boosted attack in. Magic Bounce is another viable option to stop hazard setters that it can switch in on such as Ferrothorn, Landorus, and Toxapex.

Level up past level 34 at dusk
Original Pokemon Name: Illumise
New Pokemon Name: Luminetti ( Illuminate + Betty Boop )
Type:

Ability: Oblivious / *Eerie Light / Prankster (HA)
*Eerie Light - Doubles this Pokemon's Special Defense stat

Stats: 65 / 75 / 94 / 90 / 111 / 95 | BST: 530
Move Additions: Will-o-Wisp, Eerie Impulse, Lovely Kiss, Heart Swap, Healing Wish,
Competitive Niche (OU): Eerie Light allows it to become extremely bulky on the special side, with a minimum SpD of 516. This should help it check many strong Psychic-types currently in the meta. It also gets a bunch of tools to use with Prankster such as Heart Swap and Healing Wish. It can inflict every status except for Freeze as well, making it rather unpredictable.

Level up past level 42 while knowning Dragon Dance
Original Pokemon Name: Pinsir
New Pokemon Name: Pinstag ( Pincer + Stag Bettle )
Type:

Ability: Hyper Cutter / Mold Breaker / Moxie (HA)
Stats: 85 / 145 / 110 / 65 / 75 / 90 | BST: 570
Move Additions: *Horn Clamp, Dragon Dance, Outrage, Dragon Claw, Dual Chop
Horn Clamp - 100 BP |
|
| 100% Acc. ( Earthquake clone )
Competitive Niche (OU): A Dragon Dance sweeper with gargantuan attack and a decently strong, reliable Bug-type move. Despite its raw power and decent coverage, it must resort to neutral Earthquake and Stone Edge to break through Fairy-types, and it's slower than most choice scarfers at +1 Speed. Moxie is a powerful ability for a Dragon Dance user, especially when paired with a Z-move, so it can still be a very strong lategame sweeper if it finds a good setup opportunity.

Level up knowing the move Fell Stinger
Original Pokemon Name: Buzzwole
New Pokemon Name: Gainsketo
Type:

Ability: Levitate
Stats: 65 / 85 / 85 / 30 / 30 / 70 | BST: 365
Move Removals: Superpower, Stone Edge, Giga Impact, Hyper Beam
Competitive Niche (OU): Buzzwole's prevo is small enough to still be flying around, hence the ability. Its build is similar to its evo but more biased towards speed. It should be able to find a niche in Little Cup using Leech Life and Drain Punch on everything in sight.

evolved when levelled up in darkness (place that requires Flash).
New Pokemon Name: Wirefly (wire + firefly)
Type:

New Moves: Wild Charge, Bulk Up, Thunder Punch, Ice Punch, Fire Punch
Ability: Illuminate, Surge Surfer, Prankster
Stats: 80 / 100 / 87 / 47 / 95 / 121 (530 BST)
Competitive Niche: Bug off, Hawlucha! Wirefly can outspeed and OHKO a +1 defence Hawlucha with Wild Charge under Electric Terrain. In fact the only Pokemon that can outspeed Wirefly under Terrain is Mega Alakazam with Trace. Alongside its great STAB combo of Electric and Bug, it can run Ice and Fire coverage to cover the likes of Landorus-T and Ferrothorn. Other options such as Lunge, Roost, Bulk Up give Wirefly extra longevity.

evolves when levelled up in darkness (place that requires Flash).
New Pokemon Name: Irradibug (irradiate + ladybug)
Type:

New Moves: Flamethrower, Will-O-Wisp, Tail Glow, Heal Bell
Ability: Oblivious, Magic Bounce, Prankster
Stats: 80 / 47 / 92 / 100 / 100 / 111 (530 BST)
Competitive Niche: Irradibug's typing allows it to easily switch in on common hazard setters such as Ferrothorn, Jirachi, and Clefable and bounce back any status moves. While being a supportive counterpart to Wirefly that can shut down stall teams, be a Wish passer and cleric, and spread status to opponents, Irradibug can also play a specially offensive role after setting up a Tail Glow. With limited access to coverage moves and the Bug/Fire combo having several resistances in OU will make Irradibug's supportive role more prominent.

evolved at level 46 when levelled up and fainted in the same battle or 'revived' with a Rare Candy.
New Pokemon Name: Stagusk (stag beetle + husk)
Type:

New Moves: Shadow Grip (Ghost type Iron Head), Shadow Sneak, Shadow Force, Will-O-Wisp
Ability: Born to Fight (Fighting type Steelworker clone), Intimidate, Moxie
Stats: 78 / 150 / 110 / 55 / 79 / 102 (574 BST)
Competitive Niche: Staghusk breaks walls. Ghost/Fighting has unresisted STAB coverage which allows it to forgo Bug moves and run an extra coverage move or a setup move on its Born to Fight sets. It's abilities and available moves allow it to run several sets making it difficult to comprehensively wall. Z-Shadow Force is a 190 BP move can get Stagusk a Moxie boost and allow it to begin sweeping with Shadow Sneak, Will-O-Wisp can force physical attackers out allowing a chance for setting up or throwing out a powerful attack without a safe switch-in. Overall this threatening Pokemon decide whether to break down walls with powerful coverage or be a late game sweeper with Shadow Sneak.

evolves in Ultra Space at level 30+.
New Pokemon Name: Mozzlimp (mozzie + limp)
Type:

Removed Moves: Hammer Arm, Dynamic Punch, Super Power, Focus Punch
Ability: Absorption (Moxie clone but restores 25% HP)
Stats: 53 / 89 / 79 / 31 / 31 / 47 (330 BST)
Competitive Niche: With high defence, especially when boosted by Eviolite, Mozzlimp is very hard to take down with physical moves but is very vulnerable to special moves. Its main niche comes from its ability Absorption which allows it to recover 25% of its HP if it KOs an opponent. Stacking with recovery from Drain Punch and Leech life, Mozzlimp is able to maintain its HP while still utilising its high attack.

New Pokemon Name: Illumite (Illuminate + mite)
Evolution Method: Evolves by leveling up in Sun at high Affection
Type: Bug/Fire
Ability: Dancer/Flame Body/ Flash Fire

Type: Bug/Dark
Ability: 3.5 (3) Hyper Cutter/Strong Jaw/Defiant
Stats: 70 (+ 5)/140 (+ 20)/105 (+ 5)/55/70/85 BST 540 (+ 40)
Move Additions: Megahorn, Bite, Crunch, Bug Bite, Night Slash
Competitive Niche (OU): You have an alternative dual STAB from Mega-Pinsir and that attack stat, combined with those abilities, will make your Crunches really hurt. You have a bit more physical bulk too.

Original Pokemon Name: Buzzwole
New Pokemon Name: Buzzkinny (Buzz + skinny)
Evolution Method: Evolves by leveling up while holding Protein
Type: Bug/Fighting
Ability: Beast Boost
Stats: 83 (- 24)/79 (- 60)/79 (- 60)/53/47 (- 6)/79 420 BST (-150)
Move Subtractions: Power-Up Punch, Bulk Up
Competitive Niche (LC): With three base stats tying, you can more easily adjust which stat you want Beast Boost to affect. Either way, you still have a lot of physical bulk with Roost and eviolite, and can hit back on the physical side. (Oh, and the stats are still prime)

Slate 12: Build a Wall ( or Five )

Carbink: Something something Diancie, something something.
Maximum Ability Ranking: 4
Maximum Movepool Additions: 4

Spiritomb: This is specifically to counter a host of strong Psychic-types that we have added.
Maximum Ability Ranking: 3.5
Maximum Movepool Additions: 3

Giratina: The walliest Uber I could think of. Also has a pretty cool typing that you don't often see in LC. You can give it an alternate form when holding the Griseous Orb, just like its evo.

Last edited:
Another question: Can Giratina's prevo have two forms too? It would switch between the two by holding the orb, like Giratina normally does in Ubers.

New Pokemon Name: Carbilanté (Carbon + vigilante, the accent's for pronunciation and just cuz it's a Kalos thing :P)
Evolution Method: Dawn Stone
Typing:
1537408695714.png
1537408622598.png

Abilities:
Intimidate / Pixilate / Sturdy
Stats: 100 / 125 / 95 / 90 / 65 / 125 | BST: 600 (+50 HP, +75 Atk, -55 Def, +40 SpA, -85 SpD, +75 Spe)
Movepool Additions: Diamond Shield*, Earthquake, Recover, Swords Dance
*Diamond Shield: Spiky Shield clone
Competitive: These Carbink have evolved past their original state with a purpose: to protect their diamond princess, Diancie. With their evolution comes a new appearance, allowing them to Intimidate foes so that they'll be inclined to keep away from the princess. Heightened offenses and Speed allow Carbilante to outspeed potential threats and neutralize them.

New Pokemon Name: Spiridoom (Spirit + doom, also sounds like the name of its pre-evo)
Evolution Method: Dusk Stone
Typing:
1537407015636.png
1537407888008.png

Abilities: Spirit Aura* / Infiltrator
*Spirit Aura: Increases the damage dealt by Ghost-type moves used while this Pokémon is on the field by 33% (Dark/Fairy Aura clone).
Stats: 108 / 108 / 108 / 108 / 108 / 30 | BST: 570 (+58 HP, +16 Atk, +16 SpA, -5 Spe)
Movepool Additions: Soul Leech*, Knock Off, Recover
*Soul Leech: Ghost-type Leech Life (Physical, 80BP, 100% acc., 10PP, leeches 50% damage dealt, makes contact)
Competitive: With its evolution into Spiridoom, Spiritomb finally has the HP to use its great defenses, and along with this, some fantastic utility moves in Knock Off (which it's now able to use thanks to its new hands made of souls), Recover, and its new signature move, Soul Leech. With these changes, Spiridoom is sure to be an all-around amazing pick for use in the OU tier.

New Pokemon Name: Gir-Altered Form (lol)
Evolution Method: Level up in the Distortion World
Typing:
1537407015636.png
1537407983899.png

Abilities: Pressure / Telepathy
Stats: 75 / 50 / 60 / 50 / 60 / 90 | BST: 385 (-75 HP, -50 Atk, -60 Def, -50 SpA, -60 SpD)
Movepool Subtractions: Hyper Beam, Giga Impact, Shadow Force
Competitive: A bulky monster with Eviolite. Same typing as Giratina allows it to be annoying on stall teams, and high speed gives it an even better niche. Good thing devolution didn't give it a reliable recovery move. On the other hand...

New Pokemon Name: Gir-Origin Form
Form Change Method: Hold the Griseous Orb
Typing:
1537407015636.png
1537407983899.png

Abilities: Levitate
Stats: 75 / 60 / 50 / 60 / 50 / 90 | BST: 385 (-75 HP, -60 Atk, -50 Def, -60 SpA, -50 SpD)
Movepool Subtractions: Hyper Beam, Giga Impact, Shadow Force
Competitive: Still pretty bulky, but slightly less so. Fantastic speed and good offenses let it do the same thing its evolution in Ubers, which is provide defensive utility while dealing out good damage.

New Pokemon Name: Cordyne ( Corundum + Shine )
Type:

New Moves: *
Ruby Laser, Recover, Heal Bell, Healing Wish
*Ruby Laser - 75 BP |
|
| 100% Acc. | 20-36 PP | Super Effective against Steel types | 10% chance to lower Atk.
Ability: Clear Body / Solid Rock (HA)
Stats: 60 / 55 / 170 / 100 / 130 / 55 | BST: 570
Competitive Niche: A tough physical wall that can set Stealth Rock and hit most of the metagame with its STAB moves. Ruby Laser hits targets such as Scizor, Heatran, and Celesteela 4x effectively, making it a very strong pair with Moonblast and dissuading Steel-types from switching in on it.

New Pokemon Name: Chromyne ( Chromium + Shine )
Type:

New Moves: *
Emerald Laser, Recover, Rapid Spin, Glare
*Emerald Laser - 75 BP |
|
| 100% Acc. | 20-36 PP | Super Effective against Ground types | 10% chance to lower SpA.
Ability: Clear Body / Levitate (HA)
Stats: 60 / 55 / 130 / 100 / 170 / 55 | BST: 570
Competitive Niche: A special wall (especially in Sandstorm) with a well placed Ground immunity and Rapid Spin. Emerald Laser is not quite as strong as Ruby Laser but it hits Landorus-T and Gliscor 4x effectively and pairs well with Levitate.

Move Additions: Recover, Wish, Healing Wish, Haze
Competitive Niche (OU): Diamontink is a wall with reliable recovery and Regenerator. Healing Wish allows it to bring in a healed teammate when it is no longer needed, and Haze stops set-up. It is extremely passive, however, leaving it vulnerable to stallbreakers with Taunt.

Old Pokemon Name: Spiritomb
New Pokemon Name: Revlectant (Revenant +Reflect
Type:
ghost.gif
dark.gif

New Moves: Recover, Encore, Glass Shield*
Glass Shield: A version of Light Screen/Reflect that raises both defense and special defense
Ability: Event Horizon* / Infiltrator (Hidden Ability)
Event Horizon: Raises Special Defense by 2 stages when hit by a Fairy Type Move
Stats: 85 / 92 / 123 / 92 / 123 / 30 | 550 BST
Competitive Niche (OU): Revlectant is a tanky Ghost/Dark with high bulk in both areas. Compared to Spiritomb with Eviolite, Revlectant has recovery, team support, and an ability that discourages the use of the only type it's weak to. Revlectant is a solid check to many physical and special attackers, and can almost nullify the use of coverage against itself.
