Evos for Everyone (Slate 21- Keep it Simple)

Slate 16: Rivals Slate

Durant: We already did Heatmor so now we do Durant!
Max Ability Ranking: 3
Max New Moves: 5

Zangoose: Another Normal-type. Keep in mind that we have quite a few of these and try not to directly outclass any of them.
Max Ability Ranking: 3.5
Max New Moves: 4

Seviper: Snek is really, really, bad, so it needs some love.
Max Ability Ranking: 3.5
Max New Moves: 4

Kyurem: Reshiram and Zekrom split from the adult Kyurem, so baby Kyurem is the projenitor of all three. Make of this information what you wish.

Old Pokemon Name: Durant
New Pokemon Name: Alloyal
Type:
1541425382249.png
1541425374546.png

Ability: Sturdy, Hustle, Vengeful
Vengeful: Attack raises by 1 stage if the user’s attack is not very effective. The user’s not very effective attacks do 75% damage
Stats: 75/130/140/60/60/100 (565 BST)
New Moves: Shift Gear, Leech Life, Earthquake, Heal Order, Magnet Bomb
Competitive Niche: Alloyal is a potent physical pivot and sweeper. Vengeful makes switching into a Shift Gear boosted Alloyal difficult, as resisting its attacks only makes it stronger

1541425411892.png

Old Pokemon Name:
Zangoose
New Pokemon Name: Mongrail
Type:
1541425455612.png
1541425467125.png

Ability: Survivor, Technician
Survivor: The user takes no damage from poison. Damage taken while poisoned is reduced by 20%
Stats: 85/130/100/65/70/100 (560 BST)
New Moves: Drain Punch, Extreme Speed, Lethality, Cross Poison
Lethality: Dark Type, Physical. 75 BP, 100 Accuracy 20 PP. The foe loses their immunity or resistance to Normal and Fighting type moves until they switch out.
Competitive Niche: Mongrail is a jack of all trades. It’s strong, fast, bulky, and absorbs Status. It’s STAB types leave a lot be covered, but Lethality is useful at mitigating this

1541425522246.png

Old Pokemon Name: Seviper
New Pokemon Name: Luciforic
Type:
1541425505248.png
1541425512499.png

Ability: Watchful, Intimidate
Watchful: The user takes 40% less damage from all attacks on the turn the user switches in unless those attacks are super effective.
Stats: 85/120/85/120/85/90 (585 BST)
New Moves: Gunk Shot, Parting Shot, Knock Off, Baneful Bunker
Competitive Niche: Luciforic has a good defensive typing and access to two good abilities in Intimidate and Watchful. Watchful allows Luciforic to switch in on most of the tier. Luciforic also has a useful movepool with Parting Shot, Baneful Bunker, Sucker Punch, and Knock off to supplement its pre-evolution’s Poison STAB.

1541426527563.png

Old Pokemon Name: Kyurem
New Pokemon Name: Neolung
Type:
1541426543572.png

Ability: Tempestuous
Tempestuous: Ice, Fire, and Electric Moves have their power increased by 33%
Stats: 65/70/70/75/75/30: (385 BST)
Removed: Glaciate, Draco Meteor, Ancient Power, Noble Roar. Otherwise, Neolung has Kyurem's TM compatibility. (However, learns Fusion Bolt/Flare at base)
Evolution Condition: Neolung evolves similarly to Ninjask. It evolves into Kyurem in addition to a level 1 Reshiram and Zekrom. Kyurem loses Fusion Bolt/Fusion Flare and replaces them with Glaciate if Neolung knows these moves. Neolung evolves if happiness reaches maximum or minimum
Competitive Niche: Neolung is the newly hatched perfect dragon. All 3 of the Tao Trio are peeking out of a single egg. This is shown, as Neolung has a high amount of offensive and defensive power. Although it is slow, it has good coverage and can run a variety of items and sets

Abilities:
Adaptability/Hustle/Heatproof
Stats: 72/122/124/60/61/129 | BST: 568
New Moves: Earthquake, Fire Fang, Ice Fang, Swords Dance, Lunge
Competitive Niche: With three incredible abilities and coverage out the wazoo, Adaptant is ready to take on its rival Cinderillo, and this time, it's a fair fight. Lunge's good power and Attack drop is great for any set, and SD just sweetens the deal.

Old Pokémon Name: Zangoose
New Pokémon Name: Ferongoose
Evolution Method: Level up off of the EXP gained from defeating a Seviper
Typing:
1541289667148.png

Abilities: Scrappy/Toxic Boost
Stats: 83/135/80/70/80/120 | BST: 568
New Moves: Bulk Up, Earthquake, Giga Impact, Hyper Beam
Competitive Niche: Ferongoose's fantastic movepool, abilities, and Attack and Speed stats give it the potential to be a top-tier threat in Evos for Everyone. Extra moves are mostly for flavor, as Zangoose already has everything it could possibly want in its current learnset: the perfect boosting move in Swords Dance, powerful STABs in Facade/Return and Close Combat, and coverage for Ghosts in Knock Off (which can be replaced with EQ or Quick Attack on a Scrappy set).

Evolution Method: Level up off of the EXP gained from defeating a Zangoose
Typing:

Abilities: Unburden/Infiltrator
Stats: 83/110/80/110/90/95 | BST: 568
New Moves: Nasty Plot, Gunk Shot, Giga Impact, Hyper Beam, Sucker Punch*
*Now legal with Infiltrator
Competitive Niche: Say hello to the newest abuser of Unburden+Terrain. Great coverage all around, and the option of going Physical or Special is a really nice bonus too. Again, Giga Impact and Hyper Beam are for flavor, but Coil+Gunk Shot is scary, and Nasty Plot helps out on the Special side.

New Pokémon Name: Kyurell
Evolution Method: Use the God Stone

Ability: Sheer Force
Stats: 60/65/45/65/45/95 | BST: 385
Removed Moves: Hyper Beam, Giga Impact, Roost
Competitive Niche: Really great abuser (and the only real abuser) of Sheer Force in LC. High Speed mirrors its Gen 4 counterpart Gir, and no Roost means that only attacking sets are viable, so hopefully it isn't too busted.

I hope it's cool if we give small buffs to old moves and abilities. I think it's totally fair and a good extension of this Pet Mod. For now, though, I'll just list X-Scissor as a "new" move.
TBH, I think the modifications should just be new moves and abilities. That way we don't mess with the existing Pokemon who get said moves and abilities. Except infiltrator interacting with sucker. That one is too minor to make a new move or ability

Guys I think these Zangoose evos look broken; super fast, super strong, with decent bulk. Assuming they hold a Toxic Orb they also have status immunity and free stat boosts. They can set up Swords Dance on walls that rely on status and they have insane Dual STAB in Facade and Close Combat (or Extremespeed). These things have very few counters, and I think it's safe to say that these would be centralising to the metagame. I know that there is no limit on the BST of pokemon here, but you should really avoid giving stats that outclass any existing pokemon unless there is some kind of real disadvantage outweighing it.

These things are fast, strong, and decently bulky, without a particularly weak typing and having a large amount of ability-based perks and move synergies. The 585+ BST, while legal, does kind of illustrate the problem: they are just too strong all around. In general you should use the "power triangle" principle, which is to say, if a pokemon has all three of power, speed and bulk, it is probably broken. These pokemon aren't amazingly bulky, but they are amazingly fast and strong, so they should probably be glass cannons. What they have is solid bulk that will make them pretty hard to OHKO as they Swords Dance and then outspeed and OHKO the vast majority of the metagame.

Edit: I know there are mods here where this level of power would be fine, and guaging the right power level isn't exactly easy. Please only take this as constructive criticism.

Edit 2: Please do not edit existing moves and abilities. Copying an existing ability with a new name is hardly more difficult than editing an existing one anyway, and it keeps things far more clear to new players who are reliant on a spreadsheet to know what things do. The Sucker Punch thing is not a change to the move or the ability, it's a change to the pokemon's learnset, which is fine.

Evolved when levelled up with experience gained from defeating a Heatmor.
New Pokemon Name: Teflant (teflon + ant)
Type:

New Moves: Earthquake, Extinguishing Bite (physical, bug type clone of Freeze-Dry that's supereffective against Fire types)
Ability: Flash Fire, Hustle, Truant
Stats: 70 / 150 / 56 / 48 / 24 / 150 (498 BST)
Competitive Niche: The hunted becomes the hunter: Teflant has evolved to become the hunter of Cinderillo and Heatmor. It's become immune to Fire-type attacks allowing it to easily switch in on notable Pokemon such as Mega Charizard Y and Heatran. Despite its good defensive typing, Teflant has no defensive utility outside of its two immunities due to its very poor defensive stats; even Toxapex can 2HKO Teflant with Scald. Teflant's main drawcard is its high attack and blistering speed allowing it to punch through most offensive Pokemon. Just make sure it's not up against any Choice Scarf or priority users.

Evolved when levelled up with experience from defeating a Seviper.
New Pokemon Name: Monclaw (mongoose + claw)
Type:

New Moves: Earthquake
Ability: Poison Heal, Toxic Boost
Stats: 90 / 135 / 80 / 65 / 80 / 105 (555 BST)
Competitive Niche: At first glance Monclaw may seem extremely powerful with its extremely high attack stat (especially after activating Toxic Boost) and decent speed, however without access to any other viable item and increasing residual damage each turn, Monclaw only has a short amount of time to be effective. While Toxic Boost Zangoose has decent opportunities to set up in PU, Monclaw does not have the luxury to do so in higher tiers thanks to faster and stronger hitting opponents. Because of this Monclaw must rely on its immediate power and sufficient coverage moves to be effective.

Evolved when levelled up with experience from defeating a Zangoose.
New Pokemon Name: Anakarma (anaconda + armour/karma)
Type:

New Moves: Slack Off, Iron Head
Ability: Shed Skin, Unaware
Stats: 90 / 80 / 105 / 80 / 100 / 100 (555 BST)
Competitive Niche: Having gained a hard armour-like coating has given Seviper great defensive capabilities. It's mixed defensive stats allow it to choose what threats it can wall depending on its investment. It also has access to many moves that allow it to hit what could be common checks/counters such as Earthquake for Heatran or Flamethrower for Kartana. Even though Anakarma is predominately a defensive Pokemon (that can wall potential evolutions of Zangoose), it can become a late game win condition much like Calm Mind Mega Slowbro with a set up move such as Coil.

Evolves at level 43+ when holding Never-Melt Ice.
New Pokemon Name: Kyute (cute)
Type:

Removed Moves: Fusion Flare, Fusion Bolt
Ability: Pressure, Teravolt
Stats:
Kyute: 60 / 60 / 60 / 60 / 60 / 80 (380 BST)
Kyute-Black: 60 / 90 / 60 / 50 /60 / 60 (380 BST)
Kyute-White: 60 / 50 / 60 / 90 /60 / 60 (380 BST)
Competitive Niche: Each form of Kyute plays a similar role to its evolved counterpart where it aims to break through teams with its high offensive stats. Eviolite makes the Kyute forms bulky enough to take on most offensive Pokemon in LC (then again Eviolite helps almost every LC Pokemon do that) but with access to Roost and powerful Z-Moves the Kyute forms make themselves very tough to knock out before they start causing problems for the opposing team.

I did a minor quicknerf, I'd like to preserve it's bulk and attack, but I'll cut the speed to manageable levels

Gravity Monkey

Que des barz comme si jtais au hebs
is a Top Artist

New Pokemon Name: Mugurem (From "Gurei", grey, and "Mugen", infinity)
Evolve at Lv. 50 in Zekrom if Attack is higher, in Reshiram if SpA is higher and in Kyurem if both are equal

Type: Dragon
Abilities: Mold Breaker
Stats: 70 / 85 / 60 / 85 / 60 / 60 (BST: 420)
Removed Moves: Moves that aren't on every mon (i.e. Bolt Strike), Giga Impact, Hyper Beam, Stone Edge, Focus Blast
Competitive Niche: Pretty potent mixed wallbreaker with a pretty big movepool. Would probably be played with Choice scarf to make it for its low speed. Could also be played 3 moves + Roost, since it has a pretty respectable bulk.

I would highly recommend against giving this thing Ground coverage, as that would allow it to easily blow past a lot defensive threats like Fugishimi, Spikifish, Toxapex, and Torkettle that really should be able to counter it. You mention it being an anti-offense mon, but with 150 base attack and speed you really need to limit the coverage or it's just going to be a broken mon that outspeeds everything and gets a kill whenever it comes in. Also it still has Superpower to deal with a lot of Steel-types, so it's not like it doesn't have OK coverage already.

Reactions: nv
Fugishimi and Spikifish actually avoided a 2HKO from a Life Orb Earthquake. Forgot it had Superpower though so I'll remove Earthquake. It still has Z-Dig but the only defensive steel type it can OHKO with it is Torkettle.
Honestly this thing is fine with EQ coverage, but I see why we don't want to powercreep too much

It has Hustle, though, which is what most Durant currently run. With those stats, I think Hustle is the better ability, as much as I personally hate the accuracy.

-1 252 Atk Life Orb Hustle Teflant Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Spikifish: 213-252 (55.4 - 65.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

252 Atk Life Orb Hustle Teflant Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Filter Torkettle: 351-417 (91.4 - 108.5%) -- 50% chance to OHKO

Honestly this thing is fine with EQ coverage, but I see why we don't want to powercreep too much
We don't want power creep because we are less than 20 games into the meta and all of the mons that have been added thus far are valid, balanced, and should be useable as originally intended. All it takes is one broken mon to seriously reduce how fun the metagame is. This metagame is something a lot people have spent a lot of time and effort on and so it's worth being careful. I really don't see anything at all that's gained by a submission being broken. It seems like something we should all be trying to avoid, not constantly flirting with as closely as possible.

Original Pokemon Name: Durant
New Pokemon Name: Resistmet (Resistant + emmet)
Type: Bug/Steel
Ability: Swarm / Guts | Titanium Exoskeleton (Effects of Battle Armor and 1/4 damage from all Fire-typed moves. (Is that possible? 1/4?))
Stats: 78/129/132/50/50/129 BST 568
New Moves: Megahorn, Fell Stinger, King's Shield (It makes sense with the split-evolution), Sacred Sword (Pushing it here, I know), Earthquake.
Competitive Niche (OU): So, my first thought through my head was, how do I match this to Author's Cinderillo? They are obviously enemies, but they must have some similar qualities. Firstly, I put together an ability that would match one of Cinderillo's. This ability takes neutral from Fire moves and removes all crits, much like the opposite of Incendiary. Guts was what I thought was better than Hustle, and it counters Wildfire. New moves help advance the power of Resistmet. King's Shield is mostly fitting with its split-evo (that I am going to make).

Original Pokemon Name: Durant
New Pokemon Name: Stroyalty (Strong + royalty)
Type: Bug/Flying
Ability: Swarm / Smarts (Special version of Guts) | Crown (Increases accuracy by 1.2 and gives 1.5 boost to Electric moves)
Stats: 78/50/50/129/132/129 BST 568
New Moves: Bug Buzz, Quiver Dance, Thunder, Hurricane, Earth Power
Competitive Niche (OU): Wow, I made special Durant (this thing is probably broken in Cross-Evo). Again, countering Cinderillo with it's No Guard by abusing it. I know the accuracy seems redundant with it abusing No Guard, but it needs to be usable on its own. Now, about using 1.2 accuracy. I suggest I should be a able to do it due to the ranking of the other accuracy-based abilities. Victory Star (1.1) is 2.5; Compound Eyes (1.3) is 3.5. Therefore, should 1.2 not be in a level 3 ability ranking? Anyways, to abuse No Guard, it has STAB Hurricane and Thunder to hit Cinderillo and anything that isn't Electric/Fire|Fairy|Ghost, Steel/Dragon|Electric|Ground. It's access to Quiver Dance allows for some sweeping ability. That *4 Rock weakness hurts though.

Original Pokemon Name: Zangoose
New Pokemon Name: Snaklayer (snake + slayer)
Type: Normal/Ground
Ability: Poison Heal / Guts | Antibiotic (+1 Attack with any Poison move against it. Poison immunity. Applies to Poison status moves. Clear Smog does not remove stats)
Stats: 90/130/85/85/85/115 BST 570
New Moves: Earthquake, Sucker Punch, Zen Headbutt, Meteor Mash
Competitive Niche (OU): Something to really kill those snakes. In general, walls. It has enough attack to sweep, along with those wonderful abilities, but not enough speed. It would have to be scarfed to truly start sweeping, meaning it will leave a lot to be desired. Which then loses out on Guts + Facade. But no matter, breaking through walls does not consider speed. It considers overall power and move choice. This has a lot of different moves to take against it's opponents.

Original Pokemon Name: Seviper
New Pokemon Name: Slashidian (Ophidian + slash)
Type: Poison/Dark
Ability: Durable Teeth (Tinted Lens clone) / Shed Skin | Corrosion
Stats: 90/125/75/125/75/80 BST 570
New Moves: Gunk Shot, Sludge Wave, Focus Blast, Sacred Sword
Competitive Niche (OU): A general attacker but it has Corrosion. I think it applies to moves such as Poison Fang, so that is fun. Tinted Lens is there to help remove that weakness it has to the other Dark and Steel types. Shed Skin could be for set up + Rest scenarios.

Welp, that's all I have. I don't know what to do exactly for Kyurem, and I got school right now, so sorry about that. I hope that doesn't affect how I represent myself.

Voting will open tomorrow
==================================================================================
Here are my subs:

New Pokemon Name: Ferrmite ( Ferric + Termite )
Type:

New Moves: *Steel Fang, Leech Life,
*Steel Fang | 70 BP | Physical | Steel Type | 95% Acc. | 20% chance to raise user's Def
Ability: Swarm / Strong Jaw | Vital Spirit (HA)
Stats: 63 / 129 / 132 / 54 / 54 / 114 (544 BST)
Competitive Niche: Strong Jaw boosts Steel Fang to an effective 105 BP, making it one of the strongest offensive Steel-types around. Crunch, Superpower, Leech Life, and Thunder Fang provide solid coverage. Leech Life, possible Def boosts from Steel Fang and great physical defense will give it nice longevity if you can remove problematic special attackers.

New Pokemon Name: Hongoose ( Honey Badger + Mongoose )
Type:

New Moves: Stone Edge, Drill Run, U-turn, Iron Head
Ability: Super Luck | *Precision (HA)
Precision
- moves with a high critical hit chance always get a critical hit.
Stats: 83 / 125 / 85 / 75 / 65 / 120 ( 553 BST)
Competitive Niche: Having had enough with Poison shenanigans, Zangoose becomes a Steel type and repurposes its abilities. Unlike Zangoose, Hongoose has decent physical bulk and some resistances to switch in on, however it's not so tanky that defensive pokemon won't be able to deal with it. It's ability provides it with plenty of strong moves like Slash, Night Slash, Stone Edge, and Drill Run.

New Pokemon Name: Sorattle ( Sword + Rattlesnake )
Type:

New Moves: Slack Off, Dragon Tail, Stealth Rock, Sudden Strike
Ability: Shed Skin | *Stinger (HA)
Stinger - Tail-based moves have perfect accuracy and a 30% chance to badly poison the target.
Stats: 90 / 110 / 100 / 110 / 100 / 43 ( 553 BST )
Competitive Niche: Steel type was inspired by Seviper's gold-looking head ornamentation, as well as the blade-like tail. A Poison / Steel tank with a wide array of fancy attacking moves on both ends of the spectrum. It could opt for Coil + Shed Skin for a win condition or Stinger + Iron Tail for a defensive tank. Dunsparce's signature Sudden Strike provides a cool alternative to Earthquake.

Good Luck everyone! After this slate I will be handing leadership of the project back to Brodaha. It's been very fun but also a lot of work and I will be able to make code updates much faster if I'm not also running the thread.

Don't think this means I won't still complain about OP submissions, though! That cat is out of the bag.

Meltan and Melmetal's stats have been leaked. Meltan's BST is 300, which is half of Melmetal's BST of 600. Since legendary Pokemon BSTs are usually consistent (20+ legendaries with 600 BST), should this be a precedent/standard for future 600 BST pre-evos?
