Ex-SOLDIER's Team OU RMT

Ok so I just recent came back from taking some time off of Pokemon and i started using my old team again. Back before i quit my team was doing astoundingly good all over Purple Surge channels and Shoddy. Back when i quit my team was new but had a good reputation because i used a Shaymin and a made up EV spread/moveset for my Latias. But unfortunately it hasnt been doing to great as of late and i was going to post it here to see if i could get some help on making my team as good as it used to be again. and feedback would be greatly appreciated so dont hesitate to share :). SWAMPERT
swampert-2.png

Type: WATER/GROUND
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
Nature: Relaxed (+Def, -Spe)
EVs:240HP/216Def/52SpA
Moveset: Stealth Rock
Earthquake
Hydro Pump
Ice Beam

Swampert has always been a reliable lead for me but to be honest im getting kindof tired of using him. I always liked Swampert for his great bulkiness and decent attack stats. I like to Set up SR qith him and then switch him out right away, because I like to keep him around for taking out some sweepers and his mono grass weakness is a huge asset as almost all my pokemon can wall grass.

I wouldnt mind changing Swampert for another lead. But i would want a lead that isnt very predictable and a Lead that is very reliable at setting up Hazards or crippling my opponents lead.

JIRACHI
jirachi-1.png

Type: PSYCHIC/STEEL
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
Nature: Impish (+Def, -SpA)
EVs:240HP/160Def/76SpD/32Spe
Moveset: Body Slam
Iron Head
Wish
U-Turn

Jirachi is by far the biggest team player i have in this team. He helps heal all my pokemon with wish and can cripple my opponents sweepers and break my opponents walls. I pretty much do the same thing with Jirachi every battle. Switch him out on a Salamence using Outrage or on a Choice Band scizor using Bullet Punch and start off by using Body Slam. If my opponent switches his next pokemon that is going to try to counter me gets paralyzed (60% chance) or he will have to keep his outraging salamence out while i paralyze him with Body Slam.

I really would rather not take this jirachi out of my team because of how well it works as a team player. But if i find soemthing better i will switch him.

HEATRAN
heatran.png

Type: FIRE/STEEL
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
Nature: Timid (+Spe, -Atk)
EVs:6HP/252SpA/252Spe
Moveset: Substitute
Fire Blast
Earthpower
Toxic

Heatran is the main sweeper of my team. I liek this set over most of heatrans set because it still catches most battlers off gurad. i love sending Heatran out against Scizors, Forretress', Skarmorys, Metagross', and pretty much any pokemon weak to Ground and Fire. Of course i expect the switch so i use substitute as they send out a counter such as Vaporeon or Gyarados or a Dragon type. Thats when i hit them with Toxic and completetly take that pokemon out for later on during the battle seeing as how my team can stall a lot of pokemon.

I would not like to change this pokemon as i still think it works perfectly fine. I choose this over Torment and scarf Heatrans anyday.

FLYGON
Flygon-1.png

Type: GROUND/DRAGON
Item: Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
Nature: Adamant (+Atk, -SpA)
EVs:6HP/252Atk/252Spe
Moveset: Earthquake
Stone Edge
U-Turn
Outrage

Flygon... I really dont like this pokemon at all. Many people think that Flygon is a sweeper... I tend to think its not. I see Flygon more as a pokemon to help me scout out my opponents pokemon. Its attack is way to weak to be a sweeper thats for sure, If it cant OHKO a Blissey with a STAB Outrage then it cant be a sweeper. However it works fine as a lategame sweeper... depending on the circumstances anyways. I liek to send him out on Heatrans, I always expect the switch to i use U-Turn Then i see what he has to counter Ground attacks like a Zapdos or Dragon Pokemon and then send out one of my pokemon to counter it.

I would LOVE to take Flygon out of my team but i would need pretty much new pokemon in order to take him out because he works to well with my current team to switch him with a slower pokemon.

SHAYMIN
shaymin-1.png

Type: GRASS
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
Nature: Timid (+Spe, -Atk)
EVs:252HP/6SpA/252Spe
Moveset: Substitute
Leech Seed
Hidden Power [FIRE]
Seed Flare

Shaymin is one of my favorite pokemon of all time. Although it is tiny and not intimidating it can sure startle anyone with its sheer power. even with only 236 SpA its STAB Seed Flare crushes almost every pokemon that doesnt resist it. Shaymin is my answer to Blissey, with 404 HP Seismic toss will not break Shaymins Substitute in one attack so leech seed begins to leech Blissey until shes out of attacks.

Like i said Shaymin is my favorite pokemon so idk if i would let him leave my team because noone really uses one and Shaymin still takes people by surprise when i use him.

LATIAS
latias.png

Type: PSYCHIC/DRAGON
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
Nature: Calm (+SpD, -Atk)
EVs:252HP/136Def/120SpD
Moveset: Roar
Dragon Pulse
Recover
Thunderbolt

Well this was once my pride and joy. I made this set as a test to see how it performed and i was surprised at how well she worked as a wall. At the time my main problem was Mixapes. Well this Latias makes Infernape looks like a Chimchar... HP ICE from Max SpA Infernape with Life Orb hits for about 131 damage. Thats nothing compaired to Latias' 364 HP. With this EV spread Latias has 364HP 176Atk 250Def 256SpA 358SpD 256Spe. I chose Thunder bolt for her last move for Gyarados' and Starmies.

I really like this Latias a lot. I might take her out of my team but i would need a good set of walls to replace her and my other teammates. I would like help picking a better move then Thunder bolt so if any would liek to help me pick a better move let me know.

Thank you whoever reads this and helps me fix my team up a bit. Please give me some feed back. Thank you

I'm not so sure if swampy is a great lead
it used to be
but its lost its mojo.
Swampert is easily suseptible to taunt so you cant get SR up. Have you seen your team? Your gunna want SR up. You should guarentee it. I suggest a switch to Aerodactyl. Nobody really uses them anymore but they still work. Not to mention, Aeros have taunt to make sure SR isnt up unless it looses a speed tie with other Aeros or scarfed Rockers.
Or you could get an Anti Lead and leave the rocks to Jirachi. A machamp would be good. I love my Machamp lead.

Machamp @ Lum Berry
Adamant-252 Atk/128 Spe/128 Sp.Def
No Guard
Dynamic Punch/Bullet Punch/Payback/Stone Edge

This machamp lead always beats sleepers (not named Bronzong). They only have 1 chance to move and most of the time they use that chance to activate your lum berry. So yeah, thats my suggestion.

Yeah i used to use anti-lead Machamp but i stopped cause i like abusing roar with SR up. Idk i also thought about an empoleon lead. but im a little stuck

Hello!

This looks like a pretty cool team. I too, am a growing fan of Shaymin. Good to see it used here. You seem to be weak to Lucario however. You can't really counter it directly, only revenge kill it. Even then, it is not very reliable as Extreme Speed takes huge chunks out of your team. For this reason, I suggest replacing your Swampert lead with a Gliscor.

Gliscor @ Leftovers
Nature: Jolly / EVs: 252 HP / 40 Def / 216 Spe
~ Earthquake / Roost / Stealth Rock / Taunt

Gliscor is probably the best Lucario counter in the game. It can also prevent slower leads from getting up Stealth Rock, namely Metagross. It is also extremely helpful against stall Pokemon leads, such as Skarmory and Forretress who often trouble Swampert. By Taunting them, they are often forced to switch. Be sure to save Gliscor for late game after setting up Stealth Rock so you can use it to counter Lucario.

With Gliscor, Shaymin, Latias, and Flygon, your team has a large weakness to Ice-type attacks. You say you dislike Flygon, so you should definitely replace it. You need a Pokemon to revenge kill dangerous threats such as Salamence and Gyarados. How about a Starmie?

Starmie @ Choice Scarf
Nature: Timid / EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
~ Hydro Pump / Thunderbolt / Ice Beam / Trick

Starmie's great type coverage along with high speed allows it to revenge kill a large amount of common threats, especially Salamence and Gyarados. Trick also allows you to cripple Blissey, who may be a big threat to the rest of your team. You can also use Surf over Hydro Pump if you dislike the accuracy, but Hydro Pump gives you a lot more power against Scizor, Metagross, and the like. Good luck with your team.

I like the Gliscor lead. but idk about Starmie. Adding starmie will give me 3 Psychic types and id be very weak to Dark attacks so Tyranitars would be a very big threat to me.

Weavile needs spin support. A pokemon with paper-like defence, a weakness to stealth rock and choiced is not pretty But if you're going to use Weavile, I'd run low kick over Brick Break.
