It's time to get harvesting!

Overview
########

Exeggutor has multiple niches. It can make use of the wonderful ability Harvest to stall out threats, or it can take advantage of the sun with Chlorophyll and potentially sweep teams. It also has decent bulk, allowing it to withstand quite a few hard hits when invested appropriately. The one main downfall of Exeggutor is its weakness to common attacking types, such as Dark, Fire, and Bug. One of its sets can also be almost entirely destroyed by Taunt users faster than it, which there are many of, as it has a mediocre base 55 Speed.

LumRest
########
name: LumRest
move 1: Sleep Powder
move 2: Giga Drain
move 3: Psychic
move 4: Rest
ability: Harvest
item: Lum Berry
evs: 248 HP / 152 SpA / 108 Spe
nature: Modest

Moves
=====

Sleep Powder lets Exeggutor put one of the opposing Pokemon to sleep, which is always a positive in any battle. With a strong STAB move in Psychic, Exeggutor is able to hold its own when need be, and gain back health with its other STAB move, Giga Drain. Rest allows Exeggutor to recover back to full health when it's getting low on HP. Rest also lets it remove any statuses that it might have been afflicted with.

Set Details
========

108 Speed EVs allow Exeggutor to outspeed uninvested Lanturn, which can come in and otherwise severely cripple Exeggutor. With 248 EVs put into HP, Exeggutor is able to survive harder hits. The remaining EVs are put in Special Attack so that Exeggutor is able to hit hard with its two STAB moves, potentially racking up a few KOs. Lum Berry prevents Exeggutor from picking up a status effect, as that can be detrimental. With the Harvest ability, Exeggutor has an essentially infinite supply of Lum Berries, which works well with Rest.

Usage Tips
========

Though Exeggutor is somewhat bulky, try not to send it out recklessly, and act according to the situation you are faced with. This particular set, however, works greatly as a status absorber, as it effectively has a limitless supply of Lum Berries. It can switch in on a status move such as Will-O-Wisp or Thunder Wave, heal itself with the Lum Berry, and then proceed to either attack the opposing Pokemon or act as a pivot.

Team Options
========

With Sleep Powder, Exeggutor is able to pave the way for setup sweepers such as Klinklang and Mismagius to come in and tear through the opposing team. Another great thing to have on the team would be a cleric such as Togetic and Granbull which can switch in on a Bug- or Dark-type move and cure any status Exeggutor might have if its Lum Berry is Knocked Off. Granbull can switch into moves that could devastate Exeggutor and dispose of Spiritomb, which is a big check to Exeggutor. A bulky Water-type such as Seismitoad is also a good switch-in to Fire-type attacks. Seimitoad is also capable of setting up Stealth Rock, which is always beneficial to any team.

Choice Specs
########
name: Choice Specs
move 1: Psychic / Psyshock
move 2: Leaf Storm
move 3: Giga Drain
move 4: Hidden Power Fire / Sleep Powder
ability: Chlorophyll
item: Choice Specs
evs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
nature: Modest

Moves
=====

Leaf Storm and Psychic are Exeggutor's two strongest STAB moves, with Giga Drain for scenarios in which lowering Special Attack is not favorable and the opposing Pokemon resists or is immune to Psychic, such as in the case of Spiritomb. Psyshock is an alternative for special walls. Hidden Power Fire is there for situations when both of Exeggutor's STAB moves are resisted. The primary target of this is Ferroseed. Hidden Power Fire can also hit other unsuspecting Steel-type Pokemon such as Klinklang. Sleep Powder can be used over Hidden Power Fire, as it is a great stop to setup sweepers such as Mismagius and Feraligatr.

Set Details
========

Exeggutor is given 252 EVs in Special Attack to allow for the strongest possible attacks when coupled with Choice Specs. 252 EVs in Speed means Exeggutor is faster than most Pokemon when under the sun; however, it can also utilize these EVs when there is no sun as well, outspeeding any uninvested base 85 Pokemon, such as Feraligatr. The remaining 4 EVs are placed into Defense to allow Exeggutor to potentially survive more attacks. Choice Specs boosts the amount of damage that will be dealt.

Usage Tips
========

While Chlorophyll Exeggutor is typically run with a sun user, it does not have to be under the sun to be effective. However, keep in mind that once Exeggutor is locked into a move, it is easy to play around, so choose the move that would best fit the upcoming scenario. When setup sweepers are present, it is better to use Psychic instead of Leaf Storm unless the opposing Pokemon resists it, as once Exeggutor is at -2 Special Attack, it is no longer threatening, and this can provide momentum to the opponent. However, when dealing with certain walls such as Probopass and Audino, Leaf Storm is the better move to use as it can 2HKO them after entry hazard damage.

Team Options
========

Even though Exeggutor is not entirely reliant on sun, having a sun setter such as Volbeat, Liepard, or Uxie is greatly appreciated. Liepard and Volbeat are both Prankster users that can easily set up sun for Exeggutor, and Uxie can set up sun as well as Stealth Rock, which is great to have. As with all Pokemon that attempt to sweep, having entry hazard support is always beneficial, as it allows for Exeggutor to be able to 2HKO Pokemon it would otherwise be unable to. Without hazards up, Exeggutor has no chance of 2HKOing Probopass, whereas with Stealth Rock and two layers of Spikes, Leaf Storm is always a 2HKO. Seismatoad is a great Pokemon to set up Stealth Rock, as it is quite bulky, and its one weakness is a type that Exeggutor can switch into. For Spikes, Accelgor is a great choice, as with Focus Sash it is capable of getting up two layers of Spikes almost every time.

Chlorophyll Sweeper
########
name: Chlorophyll Sweeper
move 1: Solarbeam
move 2: Psychic / Psyshock
move 3: Hidden Power Fire
move 4: Sunny Day / Sleep Powder
ability: Chlorophyll
item: Life Orb
evs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
nature: Modest

Moves
=====

Exeggutor under the sun should not be messed around with, as it has access to Solar Beam, a powerful 120 Base Power STAB move with no repercussions, aside from the fact that it is only truly usable during the sun. It also has another powerful STAB move in Psychic, which can hit a lot of the things that Grass-type moves cannot. Psyshock is an alternative to use against special walls. For Steel-types, Hidden Power Fire is able to take advantage of the sun boost as well. Because this particular set is not locked into a move with Choice item, Exeggutor has the option of running Sunny Day itself, but this can be replaced with Sleep Powder to cripple one of the opposing Pokemon.

Set Details
=========

Very few things are able to outspeed Exeggutor when in the sun with 252 Speed EVs, letting it hit many Pokemon for heavy damage before they get a chance to strike back. Exeggutor is also given 252 Special Attack EVs to maximize the damage output. Life Orb lets Exeggutor deal massive damage without being locked into a move, allowing for more versatility.

Usage Tips
========

Exeggutor's main role on this set is to deal as much damage as it can, with or without the sun. Even though Exeggutor isn't entirely decimated by priority, there are a few users of it that can ruin the chances of Exeggutor sweeping, namely Kangaskhan and Spiritomb. Attempt to take out these two Pokemon before attempting a sweep with Exeggutor. If you run Sleep Powder over Sunny Day on Exeggutor, be sure that you have a Pokemon dedicated solely to setting up sun, such as the Uxie or Liepard.

Team Options
========

If Exeggutor is unable to set up sun on its own, or you decide to run Sleep Powder over Sunny Day, it would be best to carry a Pokemon that can set up sun for it. Liepard and Volbeat both have access to Prankster Sunny Day, while Uxie can set up both sun and Stealth Rock, which is always beneficial to Exeggutor. It is recommended to have hard-hitting Pokemon such as Typhlosion and Victreebel that benefit from the sun, as both of these Pokemon are great when coupled with Exeggutor.

SubSeed
#######
name: SubSeed
move 1: Leech Seed
move 2: Substitute
move 3: Psychic
move 4: Sleep Powder / Giga Drain / Hidden Power Fire
ability: Harvest
item: Sitrus Berry
evs: 252 HP / 148 Def / 108 Spe
nature: Bold

Moves
========

This particular set is designed to stall out threats. Leech Seed whittles away at the opposing Pokemon's health while letting Exeggutor recover any damage it takes over the course of the battle. Substitute lets Exeggutor reduce the amount of damage it takes, allowing it to stall out the opponent. Psychic gives Exeggutor a powerful STAB move for situations when it is unable to stall out the opponent with Leech Seed. The fourth slot is a choice between Giga Drain, Sleep Powder, and Hidden Power Fire. Giga Drain allows for more recovery on Exeggutor's part, while Sleep Powder lets it incapacitate an opposing Pokemon and stall it out while it's asleep. Hidden Power Fire is for coverage against Steel-types.

Set Details
========

With the given Speed EVs, Exeggutor is able to outspeed uninvested Lanturn. With maximum investment in HP, Exeggutor can take more hits. The HP stat also stays an even number, which allows the Sitrus Berry to kick in after two Substitutes. The remaining EVs are dumped into Defense to allow Exeggutor to better combat Feraligatr and other physical attackers. Sitrus Berry takes advantage of Harvest, acting as a great source of recovery that is nearly infinite. A Bold nature allows Exeggutor to take even more physical hits and theoretically increase its longevity.

Usage Tips
========
The primary goal of this set is to whittle away at the opposing Pokemon's health while coming out with a respectable amount of HP. The first thing that should be done is set up a Substitute, as it allows Exeggutor to take any hit and set up a Leech Seed. If running Sleep Powder, the first priority might be to use that beforehand, as it will render a Pokemon useless while Exeggutor can set up a Substitute while they switch out. If you feel Exeggutor needs to be more specially defensive, switch the Defense EVs and put them in Special Defense and switch the nature to Calm.

Team Options
========

Bulky Fairy-type Pokemon are extremely helpful to Exeggutor, as they are able to eat up most moves that are super effective against Exeggutor. Having a status absorber is also helpful to this set, as Exeggutor has no method of removing status. Alternatively, a cleric such as Togetic can be used, as it can easily switch in on most moves that would decimate Exeggutor and proceed to Heal Bell away any status. A Pokemon that can inflict status itself would also be great to have, as it can either assist in gradually whittling away at the opposing Pokemon's HP so that Exeggutor can better stall out opposing Pokemon or prevent a Pokemon from outspeeding Exeggutor. Spiritomb and Miltank both fit this role well, seeing as Spiritomb can neuter any physical attacker with a well-placed Will-O-Wisp, while Miltank can paralyze or poison any other Pokemon. Having a bulky wall that works well with Exeggutor is ideal, as this keeps Exeggutor relatively healthy without having to sacrifice one of your Pokemon. Probopass works great in this role, as it can easily take Bug-type attacks and doesn't suffer too much from most Dark-type attacks. Exeggutor is able to switch in on the Water-, Ground-, and Fighting-type moves that bother Probopass. Grounded Posion-types such as Muk and Garbodor are nice to have for Exeggutor, as they can absorb Toxic Spikes and hit the opposing team hard.

Other Options
########

Exeggutor has the potential to run a variety of various sets, such as a dual screens setter and a Wish passer. However, if you are looking for a strong variant of Exeggutor, you can easily give it a Choice Band, Wood Hammer, and Low Kick. You can swap Choice Specs for Choice Scarf to boost Exeggutor's Speed. However, you can also bluff a Choice item by instead giving Exeggutor a Meadow Plate to catch opponents off-guard. Exeggutor also works well with a Life Orb on a Trick Room team, as it is slow.

Checks & Counters
########

**Priority Attackers**: Sucker Punch and Shadow Sneak easily counter the Chlorophyll set, as Exeggutor is not very bulky. Spiritomb is quite a great counter for Exeggutor, as long as Spiritomb is not running a mono-attacking set.

**Fast/Prankster Taunt**: Any fast Taunt user prevents SubSeed Exeggutor from setting up a Substitute or a Leech Seed. As such, Liepard is a great counter for the SubSeed set, as it can easily Taunt turn one, preventing any setup moves, and is immune to Exeggutor's STAB Psychic-type moves. However, against the offensive sets, Taunt is irrelevant.

**Xatu**: A great counter for either of the sets is Xatu, as Magic Bounce prevents the setup set from getting anywhere, and Xatu resists Chlorophyll Exeggutor's STAB moves and can easily dispose of any variant of Exeggutor with Heat Wave.

**Status Users**: If Exeggutor is not behind a Substitute, poison and paralysis are very crippling for it, as Exeggutor on its own has no form of removing such statuses. Toxic Spikes can often prove fatal for Exeggutor unless it is holding a Lum Berry.

**Steel-types**: If offensive Exeggutor does not carry Hidden Power Fire, Steel-types have a relatively easy time disposing of it as they resist both its STAB moves.

**Cryogonal**: While it would not want to switch directly into a hard-hitting move from Exeggutor, once Cryogonal is in safely it can use its powerful STAB Ice-type moves to either OHKO Exeggutor or force it out.

Overview
#######
Has the ability to stall out a lot of higher threats in the tier.
Enjoys the company of Sunny Day users immensely, but can work efficiently without them.
Has moderately great bulk, and an above average Special Attack.
Is weak to common attacking types, namely Fire and Dark.
Stall set is destroyed by fast taunt.
Is moderately slow, so is prone to being hit hard by supereffective moves without being able to retaliate.

LumRest
#######
Name: LumRest
Move 1: Sleep Powder
Move 2: Giga Drain
Move 3: Psychic
Move 4: Rest
Ability: Harvest
Item: Lum Berry
EVs: 248 HP / 152 Sp Att / 108 Speed
Nature: Modest

Moves
=====
Sleep Powder is mainly to cripple one of the opposing Pokemon while allowing it to get free damage off on something.
Giga Drain to have some slight HP regeneration in the form of a STAB attack.
Psychic as a hard-hitting STAB move meant to hit anything that Giga Drain cannot.
Rest is for those times where Giga Drain won't get you enough HP back, and to remove any possible statuses that the Lum Berry missed.

Set Details
========
108 speed in order to outspeed any base 67 Pokemon that have no speed investments, primarily Lanturn.
248 HP to ensure Exeggutor can handle more hits easily.
The rest of the EVs are in special attack to maximize how powerful the attacks of Exeggutor are.

Usage Tips
=========
Act accordingly in response to the Pokemon sent out by the opponent.
Rest is to be used once you are at a low enough point where you can be 2HKO'd after Giga Drain recovery.
This particular set works great as a status absorber, as it has infinite Lum Berries, granted your luck isn't too bad. It also has the potential to switch in on bulky Pokemon, absorb the status they try to throw at you, and retaliate accordingly.

Team Options
===========
Pokemon that benefit from sleeping Pokemon would be great, such as set-up sweepers.
Any form of Heal Bell/Aromatherapy user would be helpful in case Exeggutor gets its' Lum Berry Knock Off'd.
Some Pokemon that work great with Exeggutor would be bulky Fairy types, such as Granbull. It sponges up any Bug or Dark type moves that would otherwise devastate Exeggutor.
Thanks to the excessive amount of bulky Water types in the tier, Exeggutor would be great having one of those to assist it, such as Seismatoad. The reasoning behind wanting a bulky Water type is because of the way they benefit Exeggutor, and vice versa. Bulky Water types fear grass type moves, which is where you can switch into Exeggutor to eat up the damage, and proceed to switch back out into the Water type once something pressures Exeggutor with a powerful move.

Choice Specs
##########
Name: Choice Specs
Move 1: Psychic
Move 2: Leaf Storm
Move 3: Giga Drain
Move 4: Hidden Power Fire / Sleep Powder
Ability: Chlorophyll
Item: Choice Specs
EVs: 4 Def / 252 Sp Att / 252 Speed
Nature: Modest

Moves
=====
All of the moves that are on Exeggutor are primarily for STAB, with Leaf Storm being there for when Giga Drain just isn't enough.
Hidden Power Fire is a coverage move for both opposing Grass types and Steel types. It's primary target would be Ferroseed, since it can easily outstall Exeggutor without it.

Set Details
========
Having 252 in special attack allows for the most hard-hitting damage that Exeggutor can deal.
252 in speed is to enable maximum speed in terms of Chlorophyll once the sun is up.

Usage Tips
=========
It can be combined with Sun users, but is still able to take out massive chunks of the opposing teams' health without the Sun.
Keep in mind, once you use a move you are locked into it, which makes Exeggutor easy to handle, especially if a Spiritomb is present.
Use a move appropriate to the situation, as you will be unable to change it unless you switch out. For example, if there is a set up sweeper, spam Psychic over Leaf Storm, as after 2 Leaf Storms Exeggutor will be at -4 and will be unable to leave a dent to the opposing Pokemon. However, if a Spiritomb is also still present on the opposing team, Giga Drain would be the way to go as it neither drops special attack or is unable to hit Spiritomb, not to mention that it also helps Exeggutor gradually regain health.
When dealing with walls, Leaf Storm is typically the move that would be best spammed, as it still has the potential to 2HKO a lot of walls when coupled with hazards, such as Probopass and Audino.

Team Options
===========
Seeing as Exeggutor is unable to set up sun on its' own since it is a Specs set, it would be a great addition to have a Pokemon that is able to do that for Exeggutor. However, Exeggutor does not entirely require Sun to be an efficient Pokemon.
Volbeat and Liepard are both great Prankster users who can manipulate Sunny Day, so it's best to consider carrying one of them. Alternatively, a lead Sunny Day Pokemon that also benefits from it, such as Victreebel, is always a nice path to take. You can also use a lead Uxie to set up Stealth Rocks and the sun to allow for the best usage of Exeggutor, as it will have the help of hazards along with sun.
As is with most form of sweeping Pokemon, hazard setters are a great way to assist in wearing down opponents so Exeggutor is almost guaranteed the kill. With added hazards, Exeggutor has the ability to 2HKO Pokemon that would otherwise "wall" it. For example, without any form of hazards, Exeggutor's Leaf Storm only has a 4% chance of 2HKO'ing a specially defensive Probopass, assuming it is carrying no Leftovers. But once you bump up the hazards layers to having 2 layers of Spikes and Stealth Rocks, you are guaranteed to 2HKO Probopass, even if it is carrying Leftovers. A general Stealth Rocker that typically fits in most teams is Seismatoad, and for Spikes, Crustle or Cacturne fit this role great.
Having a Pokemon to take on Spiritomb would be greatly advised, such as Calm Mind Slurpuff, as it can take the pressure off of Exeggutor and proceed to set up on its' own. If Spiritomb were to try attacking Exeggutor, you could easily switch into Slurpuff and get up a free Calm Mind as the Spiritomb switches out, unless it decides to stay in, in which case you get even more setting up.

Chlorophyll Sweeper
##############
Name: Chlorophyll Sweeper
Move 1: Solarbeam
Move 2: Psychic
Move 3: Hidden Power Fire
Move 4: Sunny Day / Sleep Powder
Ability: Chlorophyll
Item: Life Orb
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Sp Att / 252 Speed
Nature: Modest

Moves
=====
Solarbeam utilizes the sun the most, being a powerful STAB move.
Psychic is a powerful STAB move that is there to take care of those that resist Grass, which is very beneficial since Steel no longer resists Psychic.
Hidden Powers are always fun in the Pokemon world, and HP Fire is a great way to go as it is Sun-Boosted, and leads way to obliterate one pesky Pokemon that walls both of Exeggutors' dual STABs: Ferroseed. It's also a nice surprise to any Bug type that Psychic may not be able to finish off.
Running Sunny Day as it can support itself enough to set up Sunny Day and proceed to cripple the opposing team.

Set Details
=========
The speed EV investments are to ensure that rarely anything can outspeed it once it is in the sun, and the special attack is to ensure that it can decimate nearly anything when coupled with Life Orb.
The reasoning behind Life Orb is so that you have free reign to pick the move best suited for the situation you are in, while still packing a hard hit on the opposing Pokemon.
Modest is to ensure that nothing wants to take a STAB boosted Solarbeam or Psychic, as Exeggutor boasts an extremely high special attack for the tier.

Usage Tips
=========
The sole purpose of this set is to maximize the amount of damage Exeggutor can deal, taking advantage of the sunlight to boost its' speed to extremes.
While priority isn't entirely the death of Exeggutor, as it resists a good deal of priority moves, it is always best to try and get rid of Kangaskhan and Spiritomb as soon as possible before attempting to sweep, as the combination of the priority from those two Pokemon are devastating to Exeggutor.
If you decide to run Sleep Powder over Sunny Day, be sure you have a Pokemon dedicated solely to setting up sun for Exeggutor, so it can function properly.

Team Options
===========
It would be best to wield another Pokemon carrying Sunny Day in case Exeggutor is unable to set it up on its' own, such as Liepard or Volbeat. Uxie works again in this case, as it can set up both sun and Stealth Rocks to help benefit Exeggutor, as well as having U-Turn to switch out into Exeggutor in a safe scenario.
Other Pokemon that benefit from the sun would be ideal for this set, such as other Chlorophyll users or fire type Pokemon. Typhlosion is a hard hitting Pokemon that works well with Exeggutor under the sun, as it can break walls quite easily with sun boosted Eruptions or Flamethrowers. Coupling Exeggutor with other Pokemon that benefit from the sun, but play different roles helps it wear down a team to the point where Exeggutor itself can sweep the rest of the opposing team. Another Pokemon that enjoys the use of Chlorophyll under the sun is Victreebel, as it already has decent speed and the potential to assist in sweeping a team when coupled with Exeggutor.

SubSeed
#######
Name: SubSeed
Move 1: Leech Seed
Move 2: Substitute
Move 3: Psychic
Move 4: Sleep Powder / Giga Drain / Hidden Power Fire
Ability: Harvest
Item: Sitrus Berry
EVs: 252 HP / 148 Def / 108 Speed
Nature: Bold

Moves
=====
Leech Seed is to gradually sap away at the opposing Pokemon's health, while allowing it to heal up.
Substitute is to wear away any form of potential OHKOs for anything slower than it.
Sleep Powder is a move that can be interchanged within HP Fire and Giga Drain, as they all have a role that can benefit Exeggutor.

Set Details
========
The speed EV investment is there to make sure that Exeggutor is able to outspeed any uninvested Pokemon that are base 67 speed, namely Lanturn.
With 252 EVs in HP, you keep it an even number, allowing for it to use its' Sitrus Berry after two Substitutes.
The EVs allotted in Defense is to help it better 1v1 Feraligatr.
The Sitrus Berry is for the ever lovely Harvest, allowing Exeggutor to continually regain health through the usage of a berry.
Usage Tips
========
The primary goal of this set is to set up Substitutes and whittle away at the opposing Pokemon's health while at the same time staying relatively healthy.
First priority is to set up a Substitute or fire off a Sleep Powder, based on what moveset you have.
Alternatively, you can switch the Defense EVs and place them into Special Defense, and make it a Calm nature. It's preferential to what defensive side you want the most bulk on.

Team Options
===========
Again, Granbull or any other bulky Fairy type Pokemon would be quite nice to have along with Exeggutor, as they can eat up most of the moves that would shut down Exeggutor the fastest.
It would be nice to have a Pokemon that can eat up statuses, as Exeggutor becomes relatively useless once Paralyzed or Asleep. Alternatively, a cleric would be greatly appreciated in the case of Exeggutor becoming Toxic'd or paralyzed, since it cannot remove the statuses on its' own. Togetic would be a great help in this aspect as it resists 2 out of the 3 things Exeggutor dislikes, while also being able to Heal Bell away any status that may be crippling Exeggutor.
Another thing to be considered is a Pokemon that can set up statuses on the opposing Pokemon, as they can benefit Exeggutor by either whittling down the HP, slowing the Pokemon tremendously, or halving its' attack, allowing Exeggutor to stay in longer while taking less damage. Spiritomb and Miltank both help with this one, as Spiritomb has the potential to Will-O-Wisp any potential physical attackers, while Miltank can Toxic or Paralyze those that cannot be burned or are special attackers. This would allow for Exeggutor to be able to take more hits, or outspeed and Leech Seed, or even just allow it to stall out opposing Pokemon.
As previously stated, having a form of a bulky wall would be ideal for this set to help prevent Exeggutor from being swiftly removed from the game. Be sure the Pokemon you use for this role fits in with Exeggutor. Probopass would be a great role for this as it can eat up attacks for Exeggutor on both sides. Even with the gen 6 nerf on Steel, Probopass still has the ability to eat up Dark type attacks, and bug type attacks, which is a great switch-out for Exeggutor, since it appreciates neither of those. On the other end of the spectrum, Exeggutor helps Probopass as it can easily switch in on Water, Ground, and Fighting type moves with little hesitation.
Another thing that would help Exeggutor would be grounded Poison types, like Muk or Garbodor. Not only do these Pokemon both remove Toxic Spikes upon entry, but they are both powerful Pokemon that can help Exeggutor dispose of Pokemon that would otherwise wall it entirely.

Other Options
##########
Exeggutor also has the potential to increase the longevity of the Pokemon on its' team by being able to set up dual screens, and status opposing Pokemon with Stun Spore and Hypnosis.
Another frivolous set that Exeggutor can run is a potential Wish passer.
If all else fails, slap a Band on Exeggutor and hit the opposing Pokemon with a good old-fashioned Wood Hammer or Low Kick.
Another great bluff you could do is run Meadow Plate on Exeggutor and be able to take out unsuspecting Pokemon once they realize you aren't locked into a move!
In place of Choice Specs, you can swap it out with a Choice Scarf and give it max Speed EVs, in order to surprise Pokemon that think they can outspeed.
On the other end of the speed scale, you can give Exeggutor a Life Orb and Trick Room, or place it on a team with a dedicated Trick Roomer, and deal as much damage as you can with the combination of Psychic / Giga Drain / HP Fire. 0 IVs in speed and a -speed nature would be best for this as it would let it take full advantage of Trick Room.

Checks & Counters
#############
**Priority Attackers** Sucker Punch+Shadow Sneak easily counter the Chlorophyll set, as Exeggutor on its' own is not very bulky and unable to take larger hits. That being said, Spiritomb is quite a great counter for this Pokemon, as long as it is not running a mono-attacking set.
**Fast / Prankster Taunt** On the SubSeed set, the primary destruction of that is any form of fast taunter, as it prevents Exeggutor from setting up a Substitute, or a Leech Seed. In this retrospect, Liepard is a great counter for the SubSeed set, as it can easily taunt turn 1, preventing any set-up moves and is immune to the stereotypical Psychic type move that Exeggutor carries as STAB. However, against the offensive sets, Taunt is irrelevant, but Liepard still does a good job utilizing Knock Off / Encore, as long as it can be switched in safely.
**Magic Bounce / Xatu** A great counter for either of the sets would be Xatu, as Magic Bounce prevents the set-up set from getting anywhere, and resists the primary attacks sent at it while it can easily dispose of it with Heat Wave. In terms of the Chlorophyll set, most of the moves that Exeggutor would carry would be unable to leave a dent on Xatu, while it can Roost away any damage sent on it.
**Stasus Users** The greatest counter to Exeggutor, assuming it is not already behind a Substitute on the SubSeed set would be Toxic, while another crippling thing to occur would be paralysis, as Exeggutor on its' own has no form of removing such statuses. In the same regards, Toxic Spikes can prove often fatal for Exeggutor unless it is holding a Lum Berry.
**Steel Types** Granted that the Exeggutor you are facing is offensive, and not carrying HP Fire or Psyshock, Steel types have a relatively easy time disposing of Exeggutor as they can resist the Grass STAB and typically eat up the Psychic STAB, retaliating with hard hits that can end Exeggutor.
**Cryogonal** While not being a Pokemon that would want to switch directly into a hard hitting move from Exeggutor, once Cryogonal is in safely it can either force Exeggutor out with the offensive pressure it carries or manage to dispose of Exeggutor with a powerful STAB Ice type move.

Run Away With Me
I would put specs as it's own set, as it's very different from both the sun sweeper and the Harvest set; and its really, really good.
The one I've been using for example:

Exeggutor @ Choice Specs
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 252 SpA / 252 Spe / 4 Def
Modest Nature
- Psychic
- Leaf Storm
- Giga Drain
- Hidden Power Fire / Sleep Powder

- If you're gonna mention a banded set at all in OO, make it a set of wood hammer, sleep powder, zen headbutt and low kick; not explosion.
- Even though I'm not entirely sold on the Defensive subseeder's EV spread, at least mention that you run no HP investment so that Leech Seed recovers more percent HP per turn, allowing you to Sub up more often. To someone who doesn't use SudSeed pokemon very often, it would be confusing tho them why you have no HP investment.
- On the sun set, remove Giga Drain and slash in Sunny Day, often times it can support itself with Sun / act as a 3rd member on a sun team with Sunny Day

tagging This Is Fearsome cause he's used sunny exeggutor a lot and probably has suggestions of his own.

A set like this seriously should be on the analysis (at the top imo).

SubSeed should run at least some speed, with mons like these I always aim for Lanturn (base 67), with rest in HP and Defense. Also HP should be even so you get Sitrus recovery after subbing down twice so 252 HP, speed to outspeed Lanturn and rest in Def. I also think Infestation is a waste and running a second stab move like Giga Drain would be better (at least slashed, probably first slash over Infestation).

Leech seed set warrants a mention as probably one of the last ones. I just copied the ev spread from the defensive one.
Exeggutor @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Harvest
EVs: 248 HP / 152 SpA / 108 Spe
Modest Nature
- Leech Seed
- Substitute
- Psychic
- Sleep Powder/Giga Drain/HP Fire

This set is good because it allows you to continuously gain HP back from leech seed and sitrus while wearing down the opponents pokemon with leech seed, also grass types which are immune to leech seed dont like taking a psychic. This set is quite good vs slower teams and deserves a mention. Also the specs set with leaf storm is quite scary and should probably have a separate set like TCW said. Or scarfed if you are a hipster like Brawlfest

One thing to mention under checks/counters for the sub seed set is a status like toxic or twave. As both of those cripple eggy and it cant get rid of either.

Oops, must've slipped my mind. Put that in now, as long as suggesting to bring some form of cleric on the SubSeed set. Thanks for pointing that out for me mate!

On the sunny day set I would have sleep powder/ as you can run a dedicated sun team with 2 setters. And being able to put something you cant OHKO can be beneficial.
Also make a mention of scarf in oo as it can be used to check gatr and can surprise other mons that expect it to be slower than it.
If you do those things consider it [QC 1/3]

Ah true, I always forget that Sun Boosts are a thing. Kay kay, all fixed up and lovely things, lemme know if I fudged up anything else.

Remove the mention of 0atk from the first set to make it look a little cleaner :]
This seems strong enough I suppose [QC 2/3]

the sub seed set has bad evs. if you wanna go defensive just invest it all in defenses or go modest if u wanna be offensive. if the evs do something specific then run modest to hit the required spatk points and then move the surplus evs to defenses to get more points

I just copied the EV spread off of the defensive set for the leech seed one. The EVs do the same thing as the defensive ones allowing it to outspeed certain things still have reasonable bulk and hit decently hard. If you have a better/more specific set then go ahead and post and I don't mind that being switched out.

I fixed it up splitting up the main bulk between both sides but kept the speed the same so it can still outspeed things that are base 67 without invests.

if you wanna split up bulk on both sides just run max hp. dropping max hp is not a good idea for defensive pokemon unless you have a massive hp stat. i would suggest just running max hp and putting the rest in defense so you can take feraligatr better

Afaik no custom set names unless they have historical value, so just change the set names to LumRest, Choice Specs, Chlorophyll Sweeper, and SubSeed.

Format is HP / Atk / Def / SpA / SpD / Spe

It's time to get harvesting!

Overview
#######
  • Has the ability to stall out a lot of higher threats in the tier.
  • Can work in great harmony with any Sunny Day user w/ Chlorophyll.
  • Has moderately great bulk, and an above average Special Attack.
  • Is overly weak to Bug, meaning U-Turn destroys it.
  • Stall set is destroyed by fast taunt.
  • Is moderately slow, so is unable to immediately trap a Pokemon with Infestation.
- Your second point makes it sound like offensive Eggy can only be used in sun. Keep in mind to word it differently when you write it.
- I wouldn't mention about being weak to U-turn specifically. Rather it's weak to common attacking types like Dark, Fire, etc. Change the last point to reflect how Exeggutor's poor Speed and common weakness are easy to exploit.

Set Details
=======
  • 108 speed in order to outspeed any base 67 Pokemon that have no speed investments.
  • 248 HP to ensure Exeggutor can handle more hits easily.
Mention Lanturn specifically. "Base 67 Speed" doesn't really provide much information.

Usage Tips
=========
  • Do your best to unload your Sleep Powder as soon as possible to get off that free damage.
  • Rest is to be used once you are at a low enough point where you can be 2HKO'd after Giga Drain recovery.
I wouldn't say unload Sleep Powder ASAP because there are some targets that are better off hit by Giga Drain or Psychic. Sleep Powder is more for disabling threats on the switch or just disabling stuff Eggy can't touch otherwise. You could also mention here about the targets Exeggutor can come in on. Also make a note of how LumRest is a good status absorber.
Team Options
===========
  • Pokemon that benefit from sleeping Pokemon would be great, such as set-up sweepers.
  • Any form of Heal Bell/Aromatherapy user would be helpful in case Exeggutor gets its' Lum Berry Knock Off'd.
Mention some Pokemon with good type synergy here

It's Specs-tacular!
############
Name: Specs-tacular!
Move 1: Psychic
Move 2: Leaf Storm
Move 3: Giga Drain
Move 4: Hidden Power Fire
Ability: Chlorophyll
Item: Choice Specs
EVs: 252 Sp Att / 252 Speed / 4 Def
Nature: Modest
As mentioned, slash Sleep Powder with HP Fire here.
Set Details
========
  • Having 252 in special attack allows for the most hard-hitting damage that Exeggutor can deal.
  • 252 in speed is to enable maximum speed in terms of Chlorophyll once the sun is up.

Usage Tips
=========
  • This is primarily to be sent out once the sun is up, so that nothing can stop your damaging wrath!
Specs is definitely usable outside of sun, so don't emphasize so much on it here. Make a mention about how Psychic and Leaf Storm are really powerful but easily taken advantage of, and thus shouldn't be used if it will lose you the game. For example if a Spiritomb is still alive don't use these moves, or if you can't afford to give free turns don't spam Leaf Storm too much.
Team Options
===========
  • Seeing as Exeggutor is unable to set up sun on its' own since it is a Specs set, it is best to carry something that has it and can easily set it up to boost Exeggutor's speed to the point where very few things are able to outspeed it.
List sun setters as possible teammates, not mandatory ones. Expand on this section as well.

  • Hidden Powers are always fun in the Pokemon world, and HP Fire is a great way to go as it is Sun-Boosted, and crushes the primary weakness Exeggutor faces: Bug types.
It's actually mostly for stuff like Ferroseed because Psychic hits most Bug-types hard enough already. Also, remove mentions of Choice Specs for this set since its no longer slashed
  • The main purpose of Moonlight is to use it on expected switch-outs, to allow Exeggutor to live longer and deal more massive damage to the opposing team.
  • Priority moves are able to harm Exeggutor quite terribly, as despite its' look, Exeggutor is moderately frail, especially on the special side.
- Moonlight isn't on the set, remove this
- The second point doesn't really make sense to me because you say it's weak to priority especially on the special side, and special priority is virtually non-existent. Also, Exeggutor resists most common priority bar Sucker Punch and Shadow Sneak. Consider rewording this?

Team Options
===========
  • It would be best to wield another Pokemon carrying Sunny Day in case Exeggutor is unable to set it up on its' own.
  • Other Pokemon that benefit from the sun would be ideal for this set, such as other Chlorophyll users or fire type Pokemon.
Provide some examples of good sun teammates. For example stuff like Volbeat, Liepard, Regirock, Victreebel, etc

Leech Life Is Better!
##############
Name: SubSeeder
Move 1: Leech Seed
Move 2: Substitute
Move 3: Psychic
Move 4: Sleep Powder / Giga Drain / Hidden Power Fire
Ability: Harvest
Item: Sitrus Berry
EVs: 252 HP / 148 Def / 108 Speed
Nature: Calm / Bold
If you're running physical bulk, remove Calm. At most mention a calm set with SpDef in Set Details if need be, otherwise just remove it

Set Details
========
  • The speed EV investment is there to make sure that Exeggutor can outspeed any Pokemon base 67 speed or lower that do not have any investments.
Again, specify Lanturn. You could also add here that Sitrus + Leech Seed allows Exeggutor to restore most of its HP from creating Subs

Team Options
===========
  • As with all forms of Exeggutor, any Pokemon that has Sunny Day is tremendously beneficial as it ensures that every time Exeggutor uses its' berry it gets it back next turn.
  • It would be nice to have a Pokemon that can eat up statuses, as Exeggutor becomes relatively useless once Paralyzed or Asleep. Alternatively, a cleric would be greatly appreciated in the case of Exeggutor becoming Toxic'd or paralyzed, since it cannot remove the statuses on its' own.
- this Eggy doesn't really need sun support. It's not very worth it setting up sun for 8 turns of guaranteed stalling since 50% is already a high chance of restoring the berry. doesn't really fit the offensive nature of sun, and I'd remove it
- expand on teammates with good synergy

Checks & Counters
#############
  • Priority Sucker Punch+Shadow Sneak easily counters the Chlorophyll set, as Exeggutor on its' own is not very bulky and unable to take larger hits. That being said, Spiritomb is quite a great counter for this Pokemon, as long as it is not running a mono-attacking set.
  • On the SubSeed set, the primary destruction of that is any form of fast taunter, as it prevents Exeggutor from setting up a Substitute, or a Leech Seed. In this retrospect, Liepard is a great counter for the SubSeed set, as it can easily taunt turn 1, preventing any set-up moves and is immune to the stereotypical Psychic type move that Exeggutor carries as STAB.
  • A great counter for either of the sets would be Xatu, as Magic Bounce prevents the set-up set from getting anywhere, and resists the primary attacks sent at it while it can easily dispose of it with Heat Wave. In terms of the Chlorophyll set, most of the moves that Exeggutor would carry would be unable to leave a dent on Xatu, while it can Roost away any damage sent on it.
  • The greatest counter to Exeggutor, assuming it is not already behind a Substitute on the SubSeed set would be Toxic, while another crippling thing to occur would be paralysis, as Exeggutor on its' own has no form of removing such statuses.
- I'd make a mention of Toxic Spikes annoying every one except LumRest
- Steel-types and Cryogonal do a pretty good job at beating non-HP Fire / Psyshock Eggy
- Liepard doesn't counter Eggy because it can't switch into Leaf Storm, neither does it run Taunt often, but it's a pretty good check with Knock Off / Encore / U-turn regardless

Tag me when you're done and I'll check again :]

In my opinion, I would at least note down that it can run on Offensive Trick Room with Life Orb set in Other Options.

Exeggutor @ Life Orb
Ability: Harvest
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Quiet Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 30 SpA / 2 Spe
- Giga Drain
- Psychic
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Trick Room

Please slash Hidden power Ground with HP fire on the specs set. Its great for nailing Probopass and still hits steel types. Its a matter of preference if you want to hit Probo and Bastio or Ferro.
