SS Doubles OU Extreme offensive tailwind team that capable of entering ladder top5

QQ图片20210513174941.png
(ok this is the screenshot when I was top10, but I did get up to top5)
A team made to exploit the lack of other tailwind teams at the higher ladder

Team link Here, the name of the team is a Chinese internet joke and is not related to any personal attack.

Dracovish @ Choice Band
Ability: Strong Jaw
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Fishious Rend
- Psychic Fangs
- Ice Fang
- Crunch

252+ Atk Choice Band Strong Jaw Dracovish Fishious Rend (170 BP) vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Eviolite Dusclops: 282-333 (99.2 - 117.2%) -- 93.8% chance to OHKO
252+ Atk Choice Band Strong Jaw Dracovish Fishious Rend (170 BP) vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Torkoal in Sun: 396-468 (115.1 - 136%) -- guaranteed OHKO
-1 252+ Atk Choice Band Strong Jaw Dracovish Fishious Rend (85 BP) vs. 248 HP / 32 Def Incineroar: 372-440 (94.6 - 111.9%) -- 68.8% chance to OHKO
252+ Atk Choice Band Strong Jaw Dracovish Psychic Fangs vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Dracovish: 177-209 (55.1 - 65.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252+ Atk Choice Band Strong Jaw Dracovish Fishious Rend (170 BP) vs. 248 HP / 36 Def Rillaboom: 279-328 (69.2 - 81.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Grassy Terrain recovery
252+ Atk Choice Band Strong Jaw Dracovish Fishious Rend (170 BP) vs. 4 HP / 0 Def Whimsicott: 305-359 (116.4 - 137%) -- guaranteed OHKO

This thing DESTROY anything that isn't resisting it.
Do I really need to talk much about it? With maximised firepower (should I say water power?), this thing has the ability to OHKO almost anything that isn't resisting or immune to water. And a fair chance to OHKO less bulky resisting pokemon, as long as Dracovish is faster.
Water + Dragon results in 4x fire resist, good switch in option for helping the 3 grass types in the team survive.
Unrecommend as a lead, likely to get intimidated and due to the nature of this team, hardly have chance to switch out.

Kartana @ Choice Band
Ability: Beast Boost
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Smart Strike
- Razor Leaf
- Sacred Sword
- Knock Off

252+ Atk Choice Band Kartana Smart Strike vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Kyurem-Black: 482-570 (106.1 - 125.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252+ Atk Choice Band Kartana Sacred Sword vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Kartana: 328-388 (126.6 - 149.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 Atk Kartana Sacred Sword vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Kartana: 200-236 (77.2 - 91.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252+ Atk Choice Band Kartana Razor Leaf vs. 252 HP / 252 Def Hatterene: 117-138 (36.7 - 43.3%) -- require Heatran
252+ Atk Choice Band Kartana Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 0 HP / 0- Def Genesect: 260-307 (91.8 - 108.4%) -- 50% chance to OHKO
252+ Atk Choice Band Kartana Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Prism Armor Necrozma: 333-393 (83.6 - 98.7%) -- Warning! This is NOT a OHKO
-1 252+ Atk Choice Band Kartana Sacred Sword vs. 248 HP / 32 Def Incineroar: 294-346 (74.8 - 88%) -- guaranteed 2HKO -- require some extra force to ohko, e.g. Regieleki's electroweb.
252+ Atk Choice Band Kartana Sacred Sword vs. 252 HP / 16 Def Eviolite Porygon2: 298-352 (79.6 - 94.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO -- Warning! This is NOT an OHKO
252+ Atk Choice Band Kartana Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Dusclops: 180-212 (63.3 - 74.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Classic fast attacker, runs band with max attack for that just a little bit more power to OHKO some thing's that normal Kartana couldn't. Excellent when combining with Heatran to dealing with common trick room starter. Still, its power is limited if facing some trick room setter by itself, and require support (e.g. Heatran's eruption, Regieleki's volt switch) to OHKO Haterene+Indeedee or Dusclops.
317 speed means it's the exact same speed as max speed pokemon's with 95 species strength. But it's safe to assume Kyurem-Black and Zygarde is slower than you.

Heatran @ Choice Specs
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Eruption
- Earth Power
- Flash Cannon
- Overheat

252+ SpA Choice Specs Heatran Earth Power vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Torkoal: 432-510 (125.5 - 148.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252+ SpA Choice Specs Heatran Eruption (150 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252 SpD Hatterene: 234-276 (73.5 - 86.7%) -- require Kartana
252+ SpA Choice Specs Heatran Flash Cannon vs. 252 HP / 252 SpD Diancie through Light Screen: 339-403 (111.5 - 132.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252+ SpA Choice Specs Heatran Eruption (150 BP) vs. 252 HP / 60 SpD Landorus-Therian: 337-397 (88.2 - 103.9%) -- 25% chance to OHKO
252+ SpA Choice Specs Heatran Eruption (150 BP) vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Stakataka: 298-352 (91.4 - 107.9%) -- 50% chance to OHKO
or 252+ SpA Choice Specs Heatran Overheat vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Stakataka: 346-408 (106.1 - 125.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO
The extra power from specs allows it to kill hatterene+indeedee lead - if pair up with razor leaf Kartana. Consider its significantly lower power compare to Kartana or Dracovish, it's more of a coverage or support attacker in this team (since Eruption itself is not enough to OHKO most of the neutral targets). Flash Fire ability to protect the 3 grass types in the team, common switch in when facing fire types.
Note: After tailwind, its 506 speed is just faster than a not max-speed Regieleki. Feel safe to do Eruption.

Whimsicott @ Eject Button
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 HP / 116 Def / 136 SpD / 4 Spe
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Tailwind
- Encore
- Moonblast
- Taunt
+1 4 SpA Genesect Flamethrower vs. 252 HP / 136+ SpD Whimsicott: 222-262 (68.5 - 80.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO (Same does ice beam)
+1 252+ SpA Necrozma Heat Wave vs. 252 HP / 136+ SpD Whimsicott: 246-290 (75.9 - 89.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252+ SpA Volcanion Heat Wave vs. 252 HP / 136+ SpD Whimsicott: 248-294 (76.5 - 90.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

This team require constant tailwind to outspeed general targets in the meta, and the battle often lasts more than 5 turns. This EVs spread maximising overall survivability and the eject button allows attackers to safely switch in without sacrifice Whimsicott itself. A potential disadvantage of this set is that you are slower than other Whimsicott, which Tsareena comes in handy.
Both taunt and encore can help with countering the trick room. Taunt prevent the use of the trick room, encore could (potentially) force the opponent to use trick room again (which cancels the trick room). Encore also useful to counter players who like to use protect to get through your tailwind duration.
Although doesn't invest any SpA, Moonblast is recommended over a 4th status move. It's common where you will need an extra attack move to OHKO a bulky target or sash target. Fairy move is preferred over grass move due to coverage.
And, of course, tailwind. This team can't do anything without speed advantage.

Regieleki @ Magnet
Ability: Transistor
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Electroweb
- Substitute
- Volt Switch
- Electro Ball
252 SpA Magnet Transistor Regieleki Volt Switch vs. 248 HP / 160+ SpD Incineroar: 144-171 (36.6 - 43.5%) -- Helps Tsareena or Kartana kill Incineroar
252 SpA Magnet Transistor Regieleki Electro Ball (150 BP) vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Metagross: 399-471 (109.6 - 129.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 SpA Magnet Transistor Regieleki Electro Ball (120 BP) vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Entei: 370-436 (99.7 - 117.5%) -- 93.8% chance to OHKO
252 SpA Magnet Transistor Regieleki Volt Switch vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Tapu Fini: 272-324 (79.3 - 94.4%) --Not an OHKO!

Support (speed control) and Attacker. Rather a generic set except for the use of a substitute. It's often in this team where the teammate is able to kill both opponent's pokemon in one turn, that's the chance to use a substitute, which dramatically increases its survivability.
Running Timid instead of Modest in case of an extremely unlikely situation where both tailwind team has a Regieleki and whose Regieleki moves first decide who will OHKO the rest of the team.
Running Magnet over Specs since Electroweb can help Electro Ball reaches higher power, as well as easier switch between supporter and attacker roles.

Tsareena (F) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Queenly Majesty
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Power Whip
- Knock Off
- Triple Axel
- High Jump Kick

-1 252+ Atk Tsareena Triple Axel (40 BP) (3 hits) vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Landorus-Therian: 408-480 (106.8 - 125.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252+ Atk Tsareena High Jump Kick vs. 248 HP / 32 Def Incineroar: 310-366 (78.8 - 93.1%) -- require a volt switch
252+ Atk Tsareena High Jump Kick vs. 248 HP / 0 Def Kyurem-Black: 294-348 (64.9 - 76.8%)
Ensures the survivability of the team by stopping all kinds of priority moves, can be replaced by Tapu Lele(but have the risk of terrain getting override).
Great coverage, very bulky and decent speed after tailwind. The often switch-in option when facing Zygarde or Landorus.
Running 252+Attack due to the need for OHKO Landorus.

Tactics:
Warning! This team is extremely weak against a faster tailwind team!
Lead:
Opponent has one or fewer ground types: Whimsicott + Regieleki
Opponent lead has fake-out: Whimsicott switch to Tsareena, Regieleki volt switch back to Whimsicott.
Opponent has more than one ground type: Whimsicott + [Your decision]
Opponent has Indeedee+Hatterene (or similar trick room teams): Kartana + Heatran, use razor leaf + eruption, which bypass both follow me and focus sash.
Opponent is another tailwind team and it looks like they are running generally faster set: Pray.
Common tricks:
They are not going to expect this level of firepower!
Band Kartana can OHKO another Kartana, but normal Kartana can't.
This team doesn't look like it can solve an Indeedee+Hatterene lead that involves sash, but it can.
Dracovish OHKO lots of things even with -1 Attack stats.
If they see your Whimsicott has taunt, they might think you don't have encores. (Which you can use to exploit their protect, stealth rock or tailwind)
Regieleki looks like screen/reflect set but it's not and they often won't assume your Regieleki is going to use an attack move.
Tsareena has Triple Axel for Rillaboom, but Rillaboom can do nothing to Tasreena. (however, for some reason Rillaboom rarely switch out when facing Tasreena)
Defence:
In general, if they are dead before you does, they can't harm you anymore.
Three grass type's fire weakness can be covered by Dracovish and Heatran.
Ground moves can be tank by Tsareena rather easily.

Example replays:
https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen8doublesou-1314030253 Facing a classic semi room team.
https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen8doublesou-1287140783 Destroy another common team, this is the older version of this team with light screen whim instead of moon blast. That Zamazenta is part of the tournament rules and is not used in this battle.
https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen8doublesou-1348183496 6/0 a normal sandstorm team.

Hi fgdfgfthgr, nice team - I’ve definitely lost to it before on the ladder. It’s excellent vs teams that as you mention aren’t prepared to handle this level of offense.

A couple suggestions:
Replacing Razor Leaf with Leaf Blade on Kartana. I’m not really sure why you would run razor leaf, as it’s only a 55 bp spread move. Leaf blade is much much stronger (90bp), and can guarantee kos.

Replacing High Jump Kick with taunt on Tsareena. This would give you a second taunt user to stop TR from getting up if your whimsicott is no longer on the field. An opponent successfully getting up TR is the biggest threat to your team, so preventing it is paramount. This would mean you’d have to swap out the assault vest for a sitrus berry. Or if you wanted to keep focusing on offense, you could go with a wide lens to help with Tsareena’s inaccurate moves.

Otherwise fun team, I’m glad you’ve found success with it.

Thank you for the suggestion, I explained that razor leaf + eruption is 95% counter to Indeedee+Hatterene lead, which is fairly common right now. On the other hand, leaf blade is often overpowered (pokemons that weak to grass in dou meta are often killable by razor leaf, no need to use leaf blade.)

Edition 18/5/2021
After some time after testing the new taunt+sitrus bery loadout, I notice that taunt is a much less used move when compared to high jump kick. Genrally speaking, this team either completely destroy a trick room team (by preventing it set up trick room using heatran+kartana lead) or destroy by a trick room team (by having them set up trick room successfully first turn). The case where they don't use trick room setter at lead is pretty minimum and there are hardly a chance for me to also happen to have Tsar on the field.
Needless to say, high jump kick is useful to finish incineroar after I volt switch to tsar.

I literally support actuarilly's idea. I'm just saying that you have to be careful with the speed control of hatt + TR that destroys the HO very well otherwise it's a very good team and too much fun. Just Apply the Change sugestioned

Of course, I applied the change(and I am still using the changed version by Actuarily), although I am not sure what's HO refers to...
