Steel
========
Mega Scizor's Facade set allows it to take advantage of bulky Water-types such as Mantine and Toxapex that utilize only Scald as their way of beating it.

[SET]
name: Bulky Facade
move 1: Bullet Punch
move 2: Facade
move 3: Swords Dance
move 4: Roost
item: Scizorite
ability: Technician
nature: Impish
evs: 248 HP / 72 Atk / 48 Def / 140 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

Bullet Punch is Mega Scizor's best STAB move, being a Technician-boosted priority move that can eliminate faster threats such as Mega Lopunny and Tapu Koko. Facade allows Mega Scizor to take advantage of status conditions, mainly burns, in order to better damage some of its defensive checks in Mantine and Toxapex. Swords Dance boosts Mega Scizor's Attack stat. Roost allows it to stay healthy and aids it in creating better setup opportunities.

Set Details
========

248 HP EVs and 48 Defense EVs coupled with an Impish nature ensure that Mega Scizor avoids being 2HKOed from Mega Lopunny's High Jump Kick and also survives hits such as Gyarados's +1 Supersonic Skystrike after Stealth Rock damage. 140 Speed EVs are used to outspeed foes such as Jolly Azumarill and faster variants of Mantine and Mega Venusaur. The remaining EVs are placed into Attack to maximize its power. Technician is used to boost the power of Mega Scizor's Bullet Punch.

Usage Tips
========

Mega Scizor should utilize this set to take advantage of burns, enabling it to threaten foes such as Mantine and Toxapex much more effectively. Mega Scizor should attempt to set up a Swords Dance against foes such as Suicune and Toxapex, as these foes most likely will attempt to cripple it solely through burns. It should also wait to reveal Facade in order to effectively lure its intended targets, namely bulky Water-types. However, there are some scenarios where it should avoid being burned, as it requires the use of Bullet Punch to better remove weakened foes such as Tapu Koko. Avoid Taunt users such as Gliscor and Mew, as they can prevent Mega Scizor from setting up and recovering, allowing them to break it down. Mega Scizor should also utilize Bullet Punch to revenge kill weakened foes and threats such as Mega Lopunny and Tornadus-T. It should also utilize Roost every now and then to keep itself healthy.

Team Options
========

Heatran's incredible ability to provide a Fire immunity is critical for any Steel team, making it an important teammate for Mega Scizor. Additionally, it has the ability to check and remove some of Mega Scizor's checks such as Ferrothorn and Victini. Ferrothorn's typing makes it a blanket check to bulky Water-types that Scizor finds difficulty taking advantage of, such as Empoleon. Additionally, Ferrothorn's utility functions in Leech Seed support and hazard stacking grant Mega Scizor more opportunities to reliably break down the opposition. Celesteela's well-rounded bulk and typing make it an optimal partner for Mega Scizor that can stomach powerful attacks from foes such as Greninja and Landorus. Celesteela can also use an Autotomize set with Metronome to break some of Mega Scizor's walls such as Hippowdon and Porygon2. Choice Scarf Excadrill is able to threaten faster foes that Mega Scizor cannot check, such as Nidoking and Choice Band Victini. Additionally, Excadrill has the option of being a utility lead, being able to both set and remove hazards reliably and spread around Toxic with the help of Mold Breaker, enabling Mega Scizor to deal with foes such as Mandibuzz and Mega Sableye much more easily. Choice Scarf Magnezone can trap opposing Steel-types such as Celesteela and Ferrothorn that would otherwise wall Mega Scizor through Magnet Pull. Additionally, Magnezone can threaten Mega Scizor's offensive checks such as Mega Charizard Y and Keldeo and can bring it in with Volt Switch. Jirachi can utilize a Z-Happy Hour set that makes it a potent revenge killer against some of Mega Scizor's checks in Celesteela, Mega Charizard Y, and Infernape. Bisharp assists Mega Scizor by using Knock Off to cripple its defensive checks such as Porygon2 and Mega Slowbro, while also using its priority in Sucker Punch to threaten foes such as Mega Gallade and Victini.

* add a line about how this set takes on bulky waters that spam scald, since other scizor sets straight lose to them

* Facade allows Mega Scizor to take advantage of status conditions, mainly burns, in order to better damage some of its defensive checks in Mantine and Toxapex.
* Swords Dance amplifies Mega Scizor's Attack stat.
* Roost is used to recover its health.

* 248 HP EVs and 48 Defense EVs when coupled with an Impish nature ensure that Mega Scizor avoids being 2HKOed from Mega Lopunny's High Jump Kick, and also survives hits such as Gyarados's boosted Supersonic Skystrike after Stealth Rock damage.
* 140 Speed EVs are used to outspeed foes such as Jolly Azumarill, Mantine, and Mega Venusaur.
* The remaining EVs are placed into Attack to maximize its power.
* Technician is used to boost the power of Mega Scizor's Bullet Punch.

Usage Tips
========

* This set allows Mega Scizor to take advantage of burns, making it able to threaten foes such as Mantine and Toxapex much better.
* Mega Scizor should attempt to set up a Swords Dance against foes such as Stallbreaker Mew and Toxapex, as these foes most likely will attempt to cripple it solely through burns.

* talk about not revealing its set, since it relies on Facade to take on Bulky waters/status it shouldnt reveal it until its ready to take advantage of scald/wow

* Despite burns enabling the power of Facade to double, its Bullet Punch is still halved in power because of these burns making it less likely to remove weakened foes such as Greninja and Victini as a result.
- this doesnt really sound like a usage tip, reword it a bit imo

* Avoid Taunt users such as Gliscor and Kommo-o as they can prevent Mega Scizor from being able to set up and recover, allowing themselves to set up respectively.
* Mega Scizor should also utilize Bullet Punch to revenge kill weakened and threats such as Tapu Koko and Tornadus-T.

* roost to keep mega scizor healthy throughout the matchup

Additionally, Ferrothorn's various utility functions in Leech Seed support and hazard stacking grants Mega Scizor more opportunities to reliably break down the opposition.
* Celesteela's well rounded bulk and typing make it arguably the best defensive Steel-type, and an optimal partner for Mega Scizor by being able to stomach powerful attacks from foes such as Greninja and Landorus. Its Leech Seed support can also assist Mega Scizor by aiding it with passive recovery. Celesteela can also don run an Autotomize set with Metronome to break some of Mega Scizor's walls such as Hippowdon and Porygon2.
* Choice Scarf Excadrill is able to threaten foes that Mega Scizor cannot check, such as Nidoking and Choice Band Victini. - infernape is kind of not used in monotype rn, seeing as fighting rarely uses it and fire is like never used. might want to use a different example like Mega Venusaur.

* bisharp- takes on psychics for it and can check pokemon such as victini etc for it (optional)

I'm sure you were planning on doing this when you write up, but please give examples of what KOs +2 Scizor can get in your SD sentence (both BP and burned facade KOs).
As above, write a little bit more about roost.

Set Details
You say lives Gyarados' boosted SS. How much boosted? +1, +2, +3?

Usage Tips
-Your first sentence is essentially the same thing as the overview sentence. Rephrase it as a tip instead of a fact.
-Wouldn't stallbreaker Mew go ahead and Taunt it - you'd be wasting a turn by trying to SD in that case.
-The sentence about burn halving BP damage isn't a tip. You're just stating a fact - you need to word this as a tip if you're suggesting that this is something they need to consider. Also, consider changing your examples. What on Normal is going to be burning Scizor? Smeargle? Koko is fine since there's Rotom-W.

Team Options
Agree with Maroon to add Bisharp. I'll also let you optionally decide on Klefki.

I'm iffy on the purple part. bulky water types obviously are a big deal but you can surprise a lot more. id recommend removing it but either way is fine. could also write it like "...namely Bulky Water-types"
